Echo had felt his nudge, but it didn't exactly register in her mind. Something else was bothering her, something that was in this clearing. Her attention was fixed solely on this one thing and she simply wouldn't take her eyes off of it for even a split second.
Still staring out at seemingly nothing, she began to bob her head slightly. Her ears remained perked to their fullest atop her skull, and her nose never stopped twitching, never stopped taking in all the scents that were brought to her by the wind. Something was bothering her and she didn't like it.
Whining slightly, she tried to figure out just what it was. So far not even its scent had been brought to her.

Logan watched as Echo hadn't responded to his nudge, he thought Echo might not have liked his action adn didn't want to move because of it, but when he looked at her expession on her face, and the way her ears were upon her head, he knew it was something else.
He placed the fish upon the ground adn tried to look at to where Echo appeared to be glancing, but he couldn't see anything, no new scent had come upon his nose, but hers was still twitching. He was definitely missing something here...and he didn't like it.
The look upo her face was that of someone who didn't like what they thought was coming, not exactly knowing what it was but having a feeling of what it was. "Echo...whats wrong?" he asked quietly, as if trying not to disturb her thoughts.

Echo's tail cricked in suspicion as she continued to look out at the unusually large clearing. Still nothing had been revealed, but she kept a great watch over everything.
When Logan spoke out to her, she suddenly snapped out of it. She jumped slightly at his words, not having had expected him to randomly speak out. It had broken the silence and her thoughts and it had scared her slightly; she hadn't really been paying attention. And because of him speaking out, she was now fine, for some reason nothing now bothered her.
"Wrong?" she repeated, tilting her head slightly as if to ask what on earth he was talking about.
Shrugging it off, she simply pick up the fish between her jaws, brushed past him and continued on away from the clearing. Her tail flicked slightly to tell him to follow.

Logan tilted his head at Echo with a smile still upon his face...no she seemed fine. That was odd, perhaps Echo had though she saw something, when nothing was really there...or, something else he didn't know. But she seemed fine now, which was good enough for him, if she was good, then he was good.
She picked up the fish before he could grab it, he felt bad that she had to carry teh fish that he had caught, but she seemed keen on carrying it at the moment, so he let it pass, perhaps she liked the fish's taste, and didn't want to share...he laughed in his mind at the thought, smiling outwardly a bit more.
Following her, almost right at her side Logan followed her along, Echo was leading a bit though, because he wasn't too sure on where she was bringing him.

Echo didn't exactly know where she was going either, but all she knew was that she was getting away from that clearing. It had given her a bad feeling and she wasn't too keen on sticking around to figure out just what had given her that feeling. So, carrying the fish with Logan by her side, she trotted onward, off into where ever.
Eventually she smelt salt, and her keen ears picked up the sound of waves. The ocean? She hadn't seen it before, but she had definitely heard of it before. Some said the water was gross and not good for drinking, but it was so vast and amazing that one was simply captured by the beauty of it all. Well, she would find out if any of those were true in a matter of moments..
Ears perking slightly as they came upon the ocean, she couldn't help but drop the fish and stare. In front of her was the largest body of water she had ever seen in her entire life.

As Logan walked beside Echo his nose caught the salty smell of the beach next to the ocean. They must be near the borders of Phib's packlands now. He truly enjoyed Phib's lands, there were many places to venture to, the beach being one of the most interesting. Logan found no matter how many times you came back to the same exact spot, the beach was always shifting and changing as quickly as the passing of the tides.
He noticed that Echo had dropped the fish, and seemed to be in awe of the ocean, perhaps she had never seen it before...
"Breath-taking...isn't it?" Logan said in his 'charming' voice, glancing at the waves lapping the shore, and then looking at Echo now...Echo compared to the ocean...hmmm.... if the ocean was breath-taking...then Logan admitted to himself internally that Echo must be gorgeous...even moreso then that.
"Want to get closer?" he asked, pointing with his nose to an outlet of rocks that jetted into the water a little bit.

"Breath-taking," she gasped, unable to really comprehend the amazing wonder that was the ocean. How had she and her sister lived so close to this without even knowing it existed? Such a magnificent thing...
"Get closer?" she repeated, pulling her gaze away from the ocean to look at him. Her tail wagged slightly as she found herself liking him more than the ocean. It seemed that he had his own handsome looks of his own, but for some reason she hadn't really noticed it up until this very moment. Yet, that didn't matter.
Smiling and nodding, the female showed that she would indeed want to get closer.

Wagging his curly tail Logan smiled and padded forward, glancing back to make sure Echo would follow. As he got closer he noticed some of the rocks seemed darker from the water, green too...maybe they'd be too slippery? Most of the ones closer to shore were dry, farther out they were quite wet, he knew it would be better for them to stay close to the shore on the rocks, he didn't want Echo to fall in the water or get hurt...he'd feel terrible about it.
Logan stayed on the grainy and pebble littered shore, he'd stay here and step into the shallow parts of the water, to follow Echo along the rocks in case she might fall, so that he could try and help her, to make sure she wouldn't fall in.
He smiled and wagged his tail at her and stood beside the rocks, "You can step up on them, and walk out a few steps...don't go too far...be careful." He stood next to the rocks so that Echo, if she really wanted to go on teh rocks and see the water better without getting hurt, could do so, and she wouldn't be nervous at all, because he;d be right at her side.

Echo followed closely behind the male, her head turning every once in a while to glance at the ocean. It was simply amazing that she had never before even seen this place. It was so close to where she and her sister shared a den! Looking at it then... was there another side to this ocean? It seemed to be endless, but was it really?
When they eventually came up to the rocks, she tore her gaze away from the ocean to look at them. She was supposed to climb those? They seemed so wet and slippery....
The female whined, not so sure about this. She had the clumsiest sister in the world, and she was afraid that the clumsyness in her might come out at the very moment when she needed it the least. Paranoid, she was. With her ears folded back, she glanced over at Logan. She had a questioning look on her face, as if asking him if he really thought she should do it.

He smiled softly and padded up to her from where he was and nuzzled her gently, "You don't have to if you don't want to, its alright." He was truthful in what he said, he didn't want to force her to do anything, perhaps standing at the shoreline, letting the depleated waves runs over her paws would be nice for her.
"Come with me..." he said with a smile and turned wagging his tail, as if trying to hypnotize her to follow him with his tail.
He padded to teh shoreline, ihs front paws now in the water, it was cold, but cool to the touch, it felt nice, especially after walking for a little while. He pawed at the sand that moved beneath his paws and wuffed low to have her come closer, telling her that this would be safer.

Echo followed him, glancing at the rocks once more before looking forward and seeing his tail. He was wagging it back and forth, right in front of her as if trying to coax her with it. Well, if that was what he intended, then his plan really worked. Even when he stopped, she found herself entranced by the curly tail, so much so that she couldn't help herself. She yipped and pawed at it, afterwards nipping at it then running away a few yards or so.
Her tail began wagging a mile a minute as she yipped again, calling to him in the only way that she really could. The ocean had sort of disappeared from her mind as she had something new to think about: playing.

Logan smirked and watched Echo paw at his tail, it really amused her, but he liked it, he'd always like it. He watched her run a few yards back, totally losing interest in the ocean, but seeming to want to move onto other things...like playing. He smiled and padded over to her, wagging his tail, ready to play...
He was so ready for it...
But he wasn't totally sure on what he could and couldn't do. He didn't want to be too rough, but he didn't want to seem like he didn't want to play with her...meh, it may be harder then he thought.
Regardless he crouched down, his hind quarters somewhat in the air, swaying back and forth along with the wagging of his tail, he smiled and wuffed. Shifting his paws in the sand, he was ready.

Echo narrowed her eyes playfully as she took up the same position as he did. Her tail wagged about in the air, though it was going much faster than her bum was. She yipped and hit the ground with her forepaws. She was waiting for him to come at her, make the first move...

Logan watched Echo and smirked at her, still with a smile though, he wuffed low and wiggled his bum a bit before running forward towards her...yet he found out running in the sand was harder then he thought. So when he got too close he tried to skid to a stop, narrowly missing Echo but brushed up against her in the process, then skidding to a stop behind her. He shifted his paws and tried to get a grip on the sand and turned around and went back down in his 'playful stance.'

Echo nearly fell over when he brushed past her. She sand was indeed hard to get a grip on. So when she had tried to playfully move out of the way of his path, she had instead stumbled pitifully and slipped over onto her side in the sand. The stuff sort of sprayed up when she hit it, causing her fur to be covered with little sand grains.
Folding her ears back in embarassment, she simply lay there. It wasn't that she had given up or anything... it was more that the sand felt soft, warm, comfortable..
