"Damnit", Kenshin muttered, thinking quickly what other element he could possibly use to counter her. "Lehtan!", he yelled, thrusting up his other hand. The fight was on!  A great streak of lightning countered her earth force, combining with his own fire. "Beat that, Chi! Choose wisely", he smirked, hoping she may be lured to his next devious trap.

Kenshin grinned, dropping back. "This will be interesting..." As soon as the fire arrows hit the ice, the ice melted away instantly, revealing rock underneath it's former ice skin. Kenshin's grin became wider as the fire consumed the rock, turning it to molten spikes. It bursted straight through pressing on towards Chidori. Would she have enough time to dodge it now?

Kenshin's grin became wider as the fire consumed the rock, turning it to molten spikes. It bursted straight through pressing on towards Chidori. Would she have enough time to dodge it now? 1-3: she's unfortunate and it strikes her. 4-6: she's lucky to dodge it.

Kenshin cackled, savouring his short moment of glory. "Care to try that again, dear friend?", he bluffed, ready to conjure more traps of the same kind. He came out from his hiding ready to throw more at her, but stopped dead in his tracks. Kenshin's eyes widenened as a wave of pain overtook his body. Coming from his chest, it felt like he was having a heart attack! The hand that Kenshin had held up dropped and gripped his chest as he fell to his knees, gasping for air. "Gah!", he cried out in utter despair... What...... ....what was this that was happening?............ ...his body... was undergoing changes.

Chapter 2- A New Transformation Keeled over, his blood-red aura began to illuminate the far corners of the cave in its brightness. He was now enraptured in a cocoon of light... too bright for Chi's eyes to gaze long without burning. " Stay away Chidori" Kenshin cringed, but quickly gaped his mouth when he felt the piercing pain of his fangs growing in length. What is this power... Another transformation I didn't know about?... It hurts so much... Thoughts ran through his mind, zipping in and out. "Ahhhhh!", he gripped his head, but his fingers parted as demonic daiyokai** horns grew out. His eyes fumed with the glow of power, and his levels were flying out of control. The hems of Kenshin's combat attire began to tear at the arms, and they began to form into a new skin - his left arm showing the greatest of the side-effects - it grew from his shoulders and out to his finger tips; a great layer of thick, coarse armour that seemed impenatrable. At first, it felt heavy on him, then lighter with every second. Kenshin's sword arm grew out further, and created a shoulder mantle that seemed to have sinister properties. Energy of darkness flowed deep through his body. The phase was completed with the armour forming down his spine, reenforcing it to the extreme. His crimson aura was beginning to give off electric energy, so strong it could be seen. It was no longer safe to be near him. Kenshin stood staggering a moment, but taking in a deep breath to calm himself. He picked up his Romani's, slipped them on, and ran a hand through his hair. Then he knelt and picked up his ungodly katana, feeling the power of its energy combined with his newly aquired strength. I feel....unstoppable.Katana held ready, he grinned, bearing his sharp rows of still hurting teeth. Among other distinguishing features, it was noticable that his skin had darked, possibly from the intensity of heat he gave off, which would have cooked any ordinary human alive; and his daiyokai marking had turned red as his thick, dark blood. Kenshin's head was cocked to the side, either tuned out in thought, or at a loss of his mind. His glasses proved not much use, as the usual soft glow that could be hidden now seeped through the shades - it was unmistakable, that glare he gave was more malignant** and dangerous than ever. This no longer was a practice spar. **Google it if you don't know, damnit. ** malignant-1.Threatening to life; virulent 2.or disposed to do evil.
