_Card So... isn't Anti- anything guilds against the TOS? Given that Noraboo's a member, I'm going to assume no.

Ok then. I just thought that it could be one of the things that falls under "Offensive". I'll leave it up to the Mods.

SteelEyes There's no reason you can't believe in God and Evolution. After all, the Pope's made a public statement that evolution in no way conflicts with the bible. And if the Pope can accept evolution... well, I doubt the Pope's an atheist. According to the Baptists, he is, lol.

_Card Ok then. I just thought that it could be one of the things that falls under "Offensive". I'll leave it up to the Mods. Supposedly the Nazi guild's "Principles of National Socialism" thread that stated that Jews were "Marxist" and "parasitic" was not against the TOS. At least, nothing has been done about it since I pointed it out. I may be proven wrong, I hope I am. Anyway, if they can get away with that, I think we're pretty safe. In other news: Hi everyone. biggrin

Hello!
I'm new (obviously). I'm an evolutionary biologist, well almost, I graduate in December. Hopefully I'll be able to work on some phylogenetics projects after that.
Creationists drive me insane to the point that I start drooling and sputtering at them.
It never ceases to amaze me that people can look at the overwhelming proof of Old Earth theories and Evolution and still deny they are true.

Indeed, if one accepts that every new infant is similar yet different to its parent, then logic dictates that evolution must occur.

So what does this guild really mean? I don't understand. Does it mean that the people in here don't believe that God made earth by just saying "let there be blah blah blah"? or does it mean they do? question Me...I believe that it's just another planet that made itself just like any other planet, and bacteria formed and evolved with no help from some cooky person people believe is real.

Cuz there is no proof that god is real...no proof that "he" made this stuff... scream we evolved from primates darnit! They DO have proof of that...

Well, the guild hasn't been that active, mostly, I think, because creationists haven't been that active. The guild was formed when creationism was a big thing in ED. Essentially, the guild is just a collection of anti-creationists. Mainly it means you get to use the cool banner I made.

Not just yet. I have been on many a forum, and on most I bump into creationist fools. On one there is a lengthy topic on the subject, in which creationists have tried time and time again to debunk evolution, but have offered not one piece of scientificly acceptable evidence for creation, and only one intresting proof of anything (a mathematical/logical proof that an omnisentient being may or may not exist. Figure).
I have a bet going on that they can't conclusivly debunk a single chapter of Richard Dawkins "Blind Watchmaker". As yet, no takers.
I love creationists. They are the worlds greatest form of flamebait.
