Mozelle had mostly forgotten about her wounds when this whole confession thing came up. She was simply so absorbed with him and all of these new and wonderful feelings that she hadn't really cared whether or not she had a cut above her eye. But her attention was suddenly brought back to it when he mentioned that she was hurt and began to lick the wound.
"Thank you, Gareth... for everything." Yes, everything. He had given her a new life, even if he didn't think so or didn't notice.
When she felt that the wound had at least been cleaned out, she moved her head and gave him a quick kiss to the nose. "I love you Gareth," she said again, smiling warmly as her tail wagged happily behind her.

It was still so strange and foreign. Would anyone ever believe it? There were words that wanted to come out of his mouth, but they were all crushing themselves together in his mind. What he managed was to pull up beside her as she rose, and lay his head against the back of her neck and shoulders. Haggardly he sighed and pressed his head against her fur.
“You don’t know how much I do.” He didn’t want to keep the round coming. But oh– how he owed so much to her!
“What now?” He spoke, resting his head against hers. What if Kapu came back? Where did they go from here?

Mozelle smiled as she rested against him in turn. What was there to do now? They had found each other, expressed their love. Now what?
"Mm... how about some rest?" she offered, stretching slightly and giving out a great yawn. All of today's happening's had worn her out and now all she wanted to do was curl up beside him and take a good nap or something of the sort.
Then, without waiting for much of an answer, the female gave him a tender lick to the cheek then slowly strode back into the den, eventually turning around and curling up near the entrance. She was far enough in where the sun wouldn't penetrate her directly, but then she wasn't so far in that it was too dark to see what was around her.

Gareth nodded appeasingly, and allowed her to pull from him. He was still a bit dazed by all of this, and piled onto everything else they’d dealt with today, he felt exhausted. The stroke against his cheek brought a shiver to his frame, and slowly he trotted off beside her towards the den.
Exhausting, all of it. With a stretch, he collapsed down towards the opening of the den, and curled in the tight ball. He'd watch the entrance, suddenly overcome with a kind of purpose.
