Adjective 5ki7713z A couple years ago, I had my first eyebrow piercing. I'd had it about ..5 months I think. Well, my boyfriend and I were messing around and it got caught on his necklace. Before I could say anything he moved and the necklace ripped it out. It was hanging by a lil tiny piece of skin. So I kinda tugged it and it came out. I got a repierced next to the scar awhile later.
Fast forward a few months. New labret piercing. I'd had it about 4 weeks, I heal fast so I figured it was ok and decided to change it. I had a lil plastic hoop to put in it. The edges were all hard and sharp and crap. Well, it wasn't healed and it got all torn because the damn plastic edges so yea..major ouch.
Last summer I decided to guage my labret from a 12 to a 10. So, I just kinda...shoved it through. Rip, of course. Blood dripping down my chin. I actually screamed, which I don't do. Yea, so, I've had a 12 since then. - 5ki7713z My sister tried to stretch her ears from 18 to 14 in one sitting. It looked like it hurt pretty bad. gonk 18 to 14 is nothing... That's really normal, less than one mm a sitting is fine. I went a few times from like 2 to 0, 3/8" - 1/2" and so on till the 7/8" I have now. You should go only one mm each time normally, but my ears stretch well and I have perfectly round and healthy holes.

A few years ago I bought this pair of 8 gauge flares and i shoved them through a 10g hole. Since the flares are wider on the ends then they are in the center it ripped this piece of skin from the front of my ear and pushed it to the back of my ear and it was all bloody and i had this nasty half inch piece of skin hanging from my ear. It was pretty gross.

Must have been when I grew this nasty purplish boil-like thing right beside my naval piercing...It was large, it stuck out a bit, and oh my GOD did it ever hurt...I couldn't twist my body, bend over, NOTHING without excrutiating pain.Luckily it went away with time...thank GOD, and I got to keep my naval ring >__<
Another thing was, a few weeks or so after I got my naval pierced, I had taken the ring out to clean it and change into another one I think it was, but for some reason the hole closed up instantly...it had a rubbery , ultra thin, and transparent layer of skin at the top.
So I slipped my ring through the bottom, and then noticed that...I couldn't push it through all the way.I had started panicking and was, for some stupid reason, still trying to force the blunt ring through the skin...I had pushed it through enough so that it stuck out, but that layer of skin was still right over it((very stretchy)).
Stupid ******** me went and screwed the ball onto the ring, which means I also screwed over the skin.It had already hurt, but now, with being tightly compressed and twisted, it was awful, and I saw blood starting to seep from under the ball...at that point I nearly passed out and threw up.I just got really lightheaded, sick to my stomach, and started to fall sideways as my vision blurred.
Luckily I caught myself, went into the shower, and fixed it there...the water kept me awake and washed away the blood and such, so I got it back on fine and relaxed x_X;

Okay, I finally have a mishap of sorts.
My nose retainer, which is just straight and not even a popin, fell out. You see, it is clear, and I could NOT find it. Not wanting to let it close, I began to get frantic, and managed to shove an earring in.
The earring went in halfway and wouldn't go in further until I pushed very hard. It was large and ugly, and I had to go through wearing the stupid thing at school. When I got home, I cleaned my nose and took the earring out, and replaced it with my screw.
Luckily, nothing bad happened from this, and I've since gotten a screw-shaped retainer. It's even more invisible than the last one! O:

My first post as a member of the guild... whee
I've unfortunately had a few problems with my mods.
I had my eyebrow pierced and I absolutely loved it. I had it for about 6 months. I kept having problems with a huge green-pus filled sac that would grow next to the top of the piercing. It kept getting infected and I had to take it out. Come to find out, the guy who pierced it made the piercing too long, it was impossible for me to find a barbell long enough to fit through it. I tried every kind of jewelry...I even spent 50 bucks on an internally threaded titanium barbell. I liked it but it didn't do much good.
Then of course...the bellybutton. That was nothing but problems from the start. I had it for maybe a month or two and took it out because I was tired of the constant irritation and infection. Funny enough, that had to be the most painful mod I've had so far.
I had my tongue pierced for almost 5 years but ended up eventually taking it out. I had my tonsils removed about 7 months ago and it seemed to bother with my recovery. Other then that, the piercing was great.
I have four holes in each ear and they seem to be doing well. I've had the earliest one for about 14 years. However, when I did a few holes in my cartilage it hurt pretty badly...mainly because I had a ridiculous amount of hair in the piercing. It was disgusting when I finally took it out. It was freakishly red and swollen. I had pus, hair, and lots of blood. But it healed and felt better afterwards.
I've been meaning to get an industrial, but just haven't.
But unfortunately with my job, no piercings. I hate being Assistant Manager! ...but I heart the cash.
And my tattoo...oh gosh. I collect rubber ducks...I have tons of them. Hundreds to say the least. So, of course when I was 18 I absolutely had to get a duck tattoo. It's a custom piece with rubber ducks on a small pond with hearts and bubbles (I'll send a pic as soon as I get my camera back). When I showed people they thought it was fake so they'd poke it and scratch at it--right after I got it done! People still do that today, nearly a year and a half later. It really does look fake. The guy did an awesome job.
I can't wait till I get my new tattoo later this week...but that's for another thread. biggrin

I had a orbital helix piercing just over a month ago, And it has grown these little bumps behind it, sitting on the jewellery. This had happened when I had my scaffold piercing done, so I wasn't too concerned. However, about 10 minutes ago the little hunch popped. And bled, and bled, and I'm scared. *salt water compress*

eck, i didn't know how quickly tongue piercings could start to close so i took mine out overnight. when i couldn't get the barbell back in the next day i freaked, and tried everything (including some really bad DIYs) until I finally went back to the parlor and had it stretched. it hurt worse than getting it pierced, both during and after...

[NUTs] eek stretching a tongue just sounds so painfull xp it's worse than any piercing i've ever gotten. my eyebrow's never gotten a chance to heal (i've had it for months now) because it keeps getting whacked about in all sorts of mishaps. i've kinda given up on it, i think i'll take it out and splurge on the industrial w/ helix that i've been lusting after smile

So to re-do it wouldn't be such a drag, except for maybe the cost.

My worst piercing incident has got to be my tragus. About a year and a half ago, I went to a piercing place to get it down, I went done and this woman brought out a piercing gun, (yes, yes I know, it's bad, but I was young and naive rolleyes ). The actual piercing didn't hurt at all, but by the next week, my tragus had swelled to three times the size, and nearly totally imbedded the ball of the stud. So I went back to the shop, and had them take it out (with a very near fainting experience) and replace it with a labret stud. It's only just healed now, and after I had it changed I had a ring of horrible purple scar tissue that lasted about a year. Oh well, at least its good now and I know better redface Another incident was when I got my snug pierced, the peircing went alright, but the woman who pierced it put a ring in that was by far too small (so small I wouldn't even put it in my tragus), resulting in mass swelling and much pain, especially when I took it out myself gonk Unfortunately I don't have it anymore =[ I don't seem to have much luck with piercings lol
