Eirwyn Well, I know they held a convention back in the early 90's in Indianapolis, but I don't know if they were (or are) based there. That makes sense. The only convention center is in Indianpolis, so that's about the only place convetions go in Indiana.

The convention was actually in a Best Western over around Speedway, as I recall. Not real big, but nice. But it was March! xp I'd been down south long enough to forget that when the weather says 50 degrees in Indiana in March, that means nothing! It was constantly pouring cold rain & windy so it felt like it was 30 degrees--and I didn't bring a winter coat!

Yeah, the weather's unpridictable, sometimes.

I live in North Carolina. The remnants of tropical storm Andrew dumped more rain on us than in Florida or Georgia. sweatdrop We actually got some flooding, but luckily none at my house. Kind of odd, though, for it to rain hard and almost non stop for a whole day. The hurricane season has now started. :cries:

I'm in NC too! biggrin (Mind you, the state's 600 miles wide...) Tropical Storm Alberto dumped on us yesterday; no wind, lots of rain.
Over at the Sci Fi board there are many Tarheel Whovians now. Still a strong following here after years of no Who on TV! biggrin

I'm going to the SciFi board right now. biggrin Cool! It's nice to know there are so many of us Tarheels online. Although I'm a Wolfpack fan more so than UNC. My mom even went to both and she still prefers red and white. biggrin

I'm Whatsit over there--although if you've ever seen my site, you'd recognise him on my avatar pretty quick, I think! I know TheCountryDoctor, 2xTrouble, & cats1966 are NC--just off the top of my head. There are more. It's easier to see where they're at on the WhovilleUSA Frappr Map.

Which, Sci Fi or Frappr? I don't remember giving my zip code for Sci Fi. Frappr is still beta, so it may have screwed up a tad. Where is it claiming you live?

It confused me too but it's good for storing photos. Plus Whoville USA really needs some post-ers! (I feel somehow wrong posting, since I'm not from the USA... confused )
