I really only worry about their smoking, save for Shinya...
Kyo... I wonder if he knows the extent of damage cigs are capable of...
it is possible that if he gets in a real bad condition from smoking, he might have to have his vocal cords removed....
something that was learned in health class.... the peoples' voices after that are so hoarse... it's terrible...
and we all know how much kyo values his voice (interview, he stated that his voice was one of his top three things most important to him, alongside Deg and his CD collection)

Go to YouTube and watch "Ash" live. Compare it to "THE FINAL" from It Withers and Withers, then compare that to "THE IIID EMPIRE" from the Rock AM ring in Germany.
From screaming, Kyo's voice is getting damaged. Sooner or later... maybe a year or two? I'm not sure, but maybe Diru will break up, or get a new singer. cry
I mean, "Ash" live was awesome. "THE FINAL" 2005 had so much emotion it was great. But "THE IIID EMPIRE" in the Rock AM ring was... terrible.
What do you think? wtf are you talking about? He couldnt sing AT ALL back then, I'd say at least until Macabre, his singing was awful. He's improved A LOT since then! I dont think you can compare a livehouse and festival song, ESPECIALLY if it's not even the same song! And it's pretty much common knowledge that dir said if any member leaves they will break up so...of course they wont get a new singer. besides, in case you haven't noticed, they stopped caring about fans' negative opinions on them after Vulgar was released.

How many times has he gotten sick, and explained that it's because of being overworked? He puts too much strain on his throat in the bad way he sings (which is typical japanese way of singing), because he sings that way so often. stopping smoking does improve singing voice, but he won't discover that unless he stops smoking. and well...see how much damage he does to himself now, if he stopped smoking I think he'd really have a proper nervous breakdown...which he seems to already be close to.

Die`s Tokyo Sex Fiend I'll make sure when I see them backstage in Hartford, CT that I shall tell Kyo that you are all very worried about him and that he should think about taking off for a year and to QUIT SMOKING! stressed And you will say this in japanese right? Are you japanese (just checking)? Anyway I think he'd probably just laugh at you, or give you some weird look and basically ignore what you said. But go ahead if you think there's any point.

If it gets that bad, I'm sure Kyo is smart enough to take a break,
and Dir en grey has said many times that if one member were to leave, the band would break up, because it wouldn't be the same.
