Azmaru tried to dodge backwards as the spikes flew towards him. When he realized this would not work he jumped into a horse stance. A bolt of lightning crashing out from his palms and forming an arc. He placed this arc infront of him, attempting to use this as a sheild, spreading the electricity out. It formed a full cover over where the spikes would be coming through.
Azmaru was worried the shield might not hold up, and if it did not he would surely die. He pushed more energy into it. Moving his arms to keep the electricity in a shield around the front and sides of his body. It was all up to Humbra's strength in his magic if those spikes went through, or if they were defended. Humbra be re-directed to OOC for a question/information: Page 258, post 2

Three smoke bombs exploded upon impact with Azmaru's lightning shield. As Humbra's attack began to melt from Amzaru's final defense, Humbra began to feel a slight amount of sadness. However, he could not stop to simply feel depressed and waste time thinking about how sad this battle had become. A dream was going to be shattered in the stadium he was fighting in.
The metal melted after a short fifteen seconds, the bubbling liquid flew above the lightning arc to quickly crash down upon the elementalist. As his metal flew from above the man's shield the remanent of the un melted alloys swurved to the sides of the arc to attack the exposed backside of Azmaru. The lines of wires curved around the arc's side that didn't face Humbra's original attack vector, and zoomed in for the kill.
.. Then Humbra halted his attack. A frown came upon the barely hurt fighter. His bubbling attack from above froze in mid air and his spikes that had flown around Azmaru also halted. He began to speak to the very bloody elemental user, politely asking for him to surrender," You have lost your killing eyes*. I no longer want to fight you so please surrender to me." The smoke cleared, shifting into the air. When the smoke cleared the metal that Humbra had halted showed itself to Azmaru in all its twisted glamour.
((Killing Eyes* Pg 1, Post 6:"Azmaru was no longer grinning. He no longer showed emotion."))

Azmaru held his horse stance. His eyes grew deep with rage. "I do not surrender. Exspecially to thos I can beat!" Azmaru said, blood dripped from his shoulder and most of his body as bones seemed to spew from area's that would be un-imaginable to grow bone from. He stood, a mass of red-white bone staring down at his opponent. Only the eyes of this beast could be seen. He spoke with rage "Come, or I will kill you" He said, pointing his right hand forward as if issuing a challenge. "I swear upon my life I will kill you if you ask me to surrender one more time." He said.
The arena was cluttered with blood and weapons by this time. But Azmaru did not want to lose to this guy, not when he still thought he could win. "I am not ready to lose." He said quietly

He let his still molten metal fall upon Azmaru with the same grace that it had went over Azmaru's electric wall with. Humbra then resumed with attacking the elementalist from behind with his many cut up wires. Even though Humbra saw the thick armor that his opponent had grown, it didn't matter, since bone was bone and metal was metal.
Unless Azmaru could change either the density of his bones, or he could devise some super powerful armor, the metal rushing at him would most likely continue on its destructive path. Humbra's eyes focused in front of himself, letting loose grand havok upon the boned demon.
The small shield in front of him continued it small dips and bobbles. It rotated some, then remained in front of the metal using fighter. His frown remained.

The metal seemed to rip through Azmaru's body, blood splattered on the ground. Azmaru began to hunch before he managed to prop his body back up, into a half-hearted horse stance. The molten metal burned through his flesh, yet he stood in the stance. He took a step forward, and the bones around his face fell off. Revealing a still angry, yet pained face.
More of the bones fell from his lower torso. He fell to a knee, and held himself up by his left arm. He stood once more. he coughed once more as the spikes dug deeper through the bones, blood dripped from his mouth. "Not yet" He said, pulling his body along. He stood once more, and took a step forward. He stumbled forward. As he walked blood fell from every opening it could from his body.
He stepped once more, as he did the remaining bone spikes fell from his body. The molten metal now covering most of his upper body other than his face. He grimaced at the feeling of his skin being melted off. He stepped once more, and the metal spikes driving into his body which were being held off by the bone spikes on his back shot through, cutting through his body. Azmaru stopped, looked down at the opening in his chest. He attempted to say something, but his body gave out, and he fell to the ground.
All that was left of the fighting was the bones he left behind, and the torn apart body, which from the amount of damage done to the body it would be impossible to distinguish him.

Humbra withdrew the fathoms of metal from Azmaru. The metal beams, daggers, gas bombs, and all his items that were melted by Azmaru's thunderous blasts, went back to Humbra's belt. He stood there, looking at the bloodied corpse of a malformed human.
It depressed him. With such power.. If Azmaru could have progressed more, had done more tactical training.. The battle would most probably had done more than give Humbra a large bruise and some small scratches. It made him sigh. His cloak from earlier fell from the sky, luckily enough, and covered his shoulders as he began to walk to the southern edge of the field- toward the gate.

Clap-clap-clap-clap....
The crowd let out a solemn round of applauds and cheers. Azmaru had died a warrior's death, and Humbra had won a warrior's battle. Even a few tears were wiped from some eyes as this battle ended....
"Humbra advances to Round Two!"
But the next began all the same.
