Though the "Honor of Fury" is quickly disposed of, the bright light remains, and Tinanitico by now has risen to put herself between the ball and Arch - meaning that, to Arch, she would appear with the blinding light at her back, and therefore be unseeable.
Since the light is behind her, it doesn't affect her at all, and if Arch moved then she would see exactly how and where he moved. She clutches the hammer in her arm tightly as her lips move imperceptibly, preparing another spell set.

Binatica Though the "Honor of Fury" is quickly disposed of, the bright light remains, and Tinanitico by now has risen to put herself between the ball and Arch - meaning that, to Arch, she would appear with the blinding light at her back, and therefore be unseeable.
Since the light is behind her, it doesn't affect her at all, and if Arch moved then she would see exactly how and where he moved. She clutches the hammer in her arm tightly as her lips move imperceptibly, preparing another spell set. *Arch grimmaced as he witnessed the "Honor of Fury" destroyed* eee........... Kalvain isn't gonna be happy about this.... * He muttered to himself as he shook his head to the side and then reassumed his iaido stance with the beautifully adorned ivory and gold Petalchaser. Though he couldn't see or track her very well directly, the practitioners of the shinmei school were taught from an early age not to rely solely upon their eyes. As he slowly settled lower to the ground in his stance with his right leg bent in front of him, and his right knee practically touching the ground as he bent his leg behind him, he clamped his eyes closed and tried to settle his body down. Slowly, he began concentrating on his senses, slowly shutting them down one by one. It had taken him nearly a decade to gain profeciency in the technique to the shinmei standards, but now it would only take him a few seconds to perform the shinmei school's "art of the unseeing eye". As his senses of sight, smell, and taste fell away from him, his senses of hearing and touch compensated to an uncanny degree. It took a great deal of concentration to tune out the now deafening roar of the crowds, and their shuffling about. Arch focused all his willpower and concentration on forcing his body to not go into cardiac arrest from the shock of losing most of its senses; he'd seen the fate of novices attempting the tefchnique before. Thanks to the subtle methods of manipulating his chi, he further enhanced his senses to the point where he could feel the ground shaking around him from even the slightest movement of an insect and the very vibrations of the air directly around him in a small area. He could easily pinpoint nearly any sound within a wide area, and the greatest challenge was simply drowning out the noise around him. A cricket's chirp was like a roar, so the screaming of the crowd was almost enough to make him abandon the attempt, even though he'd yet to complete the entire technique yet. *

The sphere behind Tinanitico suddenly loses whatever force is keeping it afloat and falls, though it only drops two inches before it resumes its motionless hovering under some new power. She then throws the glowing hammer downwards toward the ground, and instantly sticks both arms straight out at her sides, palms out, at which point transparent glowing walls of energy appear against her palms but traversing the whole arena - essentially creating a small isolated track going the length of the arena but only about five to six feet wide, with both Tinanitico and Arch trapped inside.
Tinanitico is now unarmed and apparently unable to move, hovering in the air with her hands pressed against the new walls of this cramped hall, as the hammer lands about six feet in front of Arch and the ground where it hits begins to crack and crumble. The crack spreads in Arch's direction, and within three seconds the ground all along the hall on Arch's side of the hammer is cracked and clearly ready to crumble away any second, though the ground on Tinanitico's side of the hammer is untouched and unmoved.

Arch launched himself forward towards Binatica and then lept up into the air towards the hammer. Arch expertly landed atop the pommel of the hammer, balancing with one foot in the "crane" position for barely a second. Arch brought his fingers to his lips while holding the gleaming sheathe of the Petalchaser firmly in his right hand behind his back. Arch's eyes were still clamped shut in concentration, relying solely upon his senses of hearing and the feeling of the ground rumbling below him. Just as the earth was falling close to him, he launched himself impossibly high into the air towards binatica, simultaneously kicking the hammer back with the force of his leap, and casting it into the very crevice the spell had created. Arch spun forward one time in the air before crosing into the path of the blinding sun, thus making it impossible to further track his descent as he sailed towards Tinantico*

As Arch lands on the energy-extended hammer handle, his "crane" position is all for naught because he can't balance at all, on account of the energy handle going RIGHT through his foot, his own weight pushing him down the pole of pure energy, not even leaving a trail of blood as he realizes he can't jump off anymore. Sure, it's only through his foot and not his leg, and eventually he'll reach the head of the hammer and be able to get himself off somehow - but there's no time for that. Pretty much as soon as his foot's pierced, the hammer's no longer able to balance with that much weight on that end, and begins to tilt and lean and fall - right back into the widening chasm. By the time Arch's foot reaches the solid part of the hammer's handle, it's already too late - the hammer's already toppled and is about level with the top of the widening crevice (it's impossible to tell the depth, but definitely deeper than ten feet, and it's too wide for him to stop his fall by simply grabbing the sides, especially weighted as he is), and even worse the energy portion of the hammer is expanding, growing thicker so that Arch can't possibly pull his foot off the way it came on - the hole in his foot just isn't big enough anymore.
Tinanitico pulls her hands away from the energy "walls", which disappear, and reaches back awkwardly to place her hands against the glowing ball behind her. By now, all traces of the "Honor of Fury" have been completely eliminated, and she pushes it upward over her head as if it were a large beachball, then reaches up and catches it before it gets out of reach. She bends her arms as if preparing to throw it, then suddenly moves her arms in an arc forward and down, the ball stretching and deforming as she does so, with the end result being a whiplike "arc" of energy streaking down toward the ground - and most of the chasm, which will be almost certain to prevent any escape by Arch even if it doesn't kill him.

*Arch he not realized that there was a plume of energy shooting up from the handle of the hammer when he had initially jumped into the air, by the time the painful realization hit him, he was completing his flip and descending toward the handle. In mid air, arch attempted to change his course by shifting his weight, but it was too late, and the movement only worsened things. When he slammed to the ground in front of the hammer on Tinantico's side of the field, half of his foot right foot landed a good meter beside him, still sizzling from the cut. Arch howled in pain at his foot as crimson gouts of flame erupted out of his sockets. As binatica reached back to the energy ball, Arch ripped off the top portion of his kimono, revealing an assortment of different cuts, scraps, burns and other wounds that told the tale of Arch's adventuring days. Along his shoulder blades, two extreemly long deep scars ran the length of his shoulder blades, from which, a faint light glowed lightly in the sun. Arch wrapped the shreds of his top around his severed foot and crawled forward to his knees just as Tinantico lifted the beachball, like ball of energy towards the sky above her head. Though his panting, sweat - covered body was wracked with pain, he still attempted to climb to his feet, but fell back down on his knee. He knew he had only a few options, and instinctvely began executing a long series of hand signs with both his right and left hands, cycling thorugh a great many symbols in mere seconds as he realigned his chi in preparation for the execution of the technique.
It took all of his concentration to simply execute the movements without succombing to the pain and shock of his foot, and even as he completed the chain of signs he knew it would cost him. The technique was the ultimate execution of the ideology of allowing your spirit to be your shield, and even among the shinmei practioners, it was rare that someone actually attempted the technique due to the danger to one's self, even if it was performed perfectly. As the beam descended upon him, a brilliant flash of light erupted from arch's palms, and he thrust his hands up forward with his thumbs and pointer fingers together in the shape of a "delta sign", contacting the shain of energy just before it would have struck him. For a second, the whiplike arch of energy seemed to be in a stalemate of opposing forces at the point where it contacted Arch's hands. Violent arcs of lightening arced all about the point of contact of the contesting forces. Arch gritted his teeth as he forced more and more of himself into the POC, squeezing feeding of off his very lifeforce to push against the energy arc. Forcing against it in this manner succeeded, not only stopping Tinantico's attack, but forcing the arc of energy back completely, and sent it right back towards tinantico with the added force of Arch's own energy. Though it had saved his life, the technique had spent too much of his chi, to the point where he was dangerously close to death.
As soon as the energy arc was sent back, and the light of the sphere was no longer bearing down on him, one could see that arch's hands were engulfed in the charactoristic ethereal white flame of many of the shinmei school's more advanced techniques. However, despite how brightly these flames that emmolated his hands shone, they paled in comparison to the near beacons of white hot light which where erupting forth from Arch's shoulder blades. One look at arch's face as he fell forward onto his hands and knees explained the sheer pain he was expieriencing. The pain which radiated out from his shoulder blades was unlike anything any mortal should ever expierience, even within the deepest part of dante's inferno itself. Arch cried out in a deafening howl of pain and anguish which drowned out even he roar of the crowds. Arch's long silver white hair began to fly about wildly as if caught up in the center of some great, invisible tempest. Great arch's of white lightening, at its center a thick electric blue surrounded by bright flourescent red, and at its outside a pure blinding white, arced all around arch's body, striking the ground and scorching it to the point where cracked glass formed in spots around him.*
noo.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT NOWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
* he cried out his thick beams of crimson light erupted out of his eye sockets, and shot forth like beacons.*

Tinanitico pulls her left arm back, as it begins to glow more brightly than before. Whatever is happening now, it's clear that it's a desperation ability, and she can no longer play with her opponent...only now has this become a game with the true danger of death, and while she still needs to avoid failing the inevitable race, it is no longer a race toward exhaustion but rather a race toward death. She gathers her presence, focusing it around her new physical body, as she thrusts the hand forward, sending the energy blast back at Arch while augmenting its power further, the same way he'd sent it back at her in the first place. While at first it had been a relatively weak blast, its power has now grown greatly through this exchange of the two, and Arch would likely be hard-pressed to deflect it this time.
Regardless of this, some of the dust kicked up by the chaos begins to gather together toward a single point, beginning to take solid shape above the chasm, twenty feet behind Arch.

*Arch craned his neck towards the sky, while still on his knees, and howled a cry of utter desperation into the air as a brilliant blinding white light that drowned out even the ball of energy just as Tinantico began to hurl it back towards him. Just before arch's humbled form began to be lost amid the overwhelming white light radiating away from him, the silhouette of two enormous wings erupting out of arch's back could just barely be noticed. The energy ball would have hit arch a few seconds after arch's form could no longer be seen due to the blinding light, and mere seconds after the light had retreated away and dissipated, one could see the final moments before the energy ball careened into the ground in front of the swirling dust that had formed behind arch's original position, and detonated in an enourmous explosion. Arch then landed a few feet in front of his original position on one knee, and then slowly, as the dust from the explosion cleared, rose up to his full height, and defiantly turned his gaze back towards Tinantico. The sight before her was an eerie, odd one to say the least. It was still arch standing in front of her, but in a way it was almost not arch. Thick slabs of muscle had replaced the lean, almost miniscule amount of muscle, which arch had only seconds before. Arch’s thick formidable arms seemed to dwarf his normally almost beanpole-like arms. Arch’s entire body seemed completely changed, as if he’d been reborn. His body was completely devoid of the multitude of scars that had once covered his entire body, and his entire body had become whole again. Arch’s characteristic burning crimson eyes had been replaced by eerie glaring white fire, which spilled forth from his sockets. The most glaring and conspicuous difference the transformation had caused where the two enormous pair of angel wings that protruded out from arch’s shoulder blades. At the base of the pair of pristine white wings, there was a little bit of fluff clinging against arch’s shoulder blades that was matted down with dried blood, but besides that, the powerful set of wings were completely devoid of any imperfection. Arch wore a pair of light baggy white pants with an almost Arabian look to them, which connected to an ornately crafted gold “belt” around his waist. Arch’s gold leg bracers matched with the thick swept-forward gold bracers around his arms, and an oversized jewel encrusted gold cross hung from a thick gold chain around his neck.*
ahhhh….. its been a while since I’d been forced back into my original body, *arch laughed cruelly as he flexed crunched his left fist*
In truth, I should thank you for pushing my body to the point that it caused me to transform,
* A brilliant flash of light radiated out from arch’s sockets and his long silverfish white hair began to swirl around violently as arcs of white beautifully lethal white lightening began sparking and arcing around arch’s left fist with increasing frequency and ferocity.*
here’s a little present as my thanks… * arch sneered as he confidently stepped back with right foot, giving as little profile to Tinantico as possible, and extended his fist towards the girl. The blue, red, and white lightening began to concentrate in a small sphere around arch’s fist until one could see a completely defined sphere of electricity surrounding his fist that seemed to pulse with arch’s heartbeat.*

As the dust gathers, Tinanitico continues to focus her energy, not holding anything back as she focuses her energy, preparing a strike which will be both swift and lethal. As Arch points his fist at her, she moves to the height of thirty feet, preparing an isolated area of antimagic to counter whatever Arch has in store for her, as she contracts her energy further between its two focuses.

tch, lets see how you deal with an opponnent that actually can CAST spells * arch sneered as he smashed his fists together level with his chest, allowing the electricity built up in his left feist to connect iwht his right, and course across his body. violent sparks of white lightening played all across arch's body as he connected, and thenarch opened his fists in a "dragon's claw" ahped fist that still pointed either one of his hands. At the center of the sphere formed by his fingers, formed a miniscule ball of white hot energy. Even though the ball was barely the size of a golf ball, it radiated out such potent white energy that arch had to close his fists tighter around it just to prevent it from drowning out the other sources of light once again. Though the anti magic field would have prevented him from casting right near her, it'd also block out any magical defenses tinantico would be relying on*
PURIFICATION!!!!!!!!
*As the tiny ball of light pulsed larger and larger, arch eventually took one step back, and then hammered the ball with a savage punch, sending a blinding beam of light towards tinantico that was easily too wide for her to simply evade. As the energy ball made contact with the anti magic field, it burned it away as if it had been simple dirt being washed away. Tinantico would most likely have been completely unhurt by the explosion of light, but the effect would have left her temporarily wihtout the help of any enchantments she was currently using, and the spell she'd been charging almost seemed to fizzle, as if it were a fire that had been starved of oxygen. Seconds after the blast, the air was thick with the prescense of pure mana, as if it had been simply ripped away from its substance, and simply hung loosely in the air until it gradually dissipated. Mage's within the crowd might have noticed the almost choking feeling every time they'd detect the precense of magic. It was as if the air itself was almost choked and suffocated of mana at the same time

The dust falls, settling to the ground in the new atmosphere, with the thickest cloud falling into the chasm and out of sight. The antimagic field is gone, having been overwhelmed (though it did take some of the punch out of Arch's attack and lessen its effect on Tinanitico), and the protective barrier she'd attempted to form just beneath it is torn apart as well. She begins to drop, but catches herself in midair after only a foot or two, with a hugeass grin on her face at all the free mana in the air. She playfully gives the transformed Arch a thumbs-up, accompanied by a beautiful smile, her golden hair almost seeming to glow in the sunlight.
Then the rest of her starts glowing too, as she begins to draw in the free energy at a high rate, isolating it from the majority of her presence in case of some odd trap but still keeping enough of a link to use it easily. With the saturation of mana in the area, it's easy as hell for her to suck it right out of the air in a highly focused form. Already the mana around her primary physical body is noticably thin, and in her own faint shine is reflected a beauty that many spectators blissfully describe as "angelic" (ignoring, of course, the angel she's fighting).

*Unfortunately for Tinantico, she hadn't realized arch's trap yet. Arch lifted two fingers two his forehead, and closed his eyes in concentration. Within seconds, arch's fingers began to glow with an eerie opalescent energy. Arch brought his fingershigh above his head, and then down, trailing his fingers in a wide circle, eerie white flames persisted in the air trailing his fingers for a second, giving it a "tail as his hand moved about in a circle back to his other side. As he retruned his burning hand back to the start position near his forehead, Arch reopened his tumultuous burning white eyes, and then swiftly swept through the air ahead of him with his hand in a "knife hand" form.*
MANA BURN!!!!
*Instantly, as if the man hanging in the air was kerosene, it ignited in a brilliant violet flame that swept through the air with unreal speed and ferocity. The odd wave of fire now rushing towards binatica seemed to be using the very mana hanging in the air as fuel, and would have been like any other fire hitting a powder keg when it would make contact with a being so saturated with mana as Tinantico.*

As Arch goes through his motions, a highly concentrated beam of energy suddenly erupts from the ground less than five feet behind him. It's five feet wide, with the greatest strength at its core and gradually decreasing toward the edges of the beam, but even at the weak edges it's still going to be messy due to the sheer power in the beam. Most likely, Arch isn't going to be able to dodge it, since he's concentrating on his move and wasn't expecting a high-speed high-energy blast at nearly point-blank range.
With Arch's move certainly interrupted, the Tinanitico in the sky concentrates, manifesting the presence left to her as energy (with the help of the vast mana sink Arch has created), and moves to the path of the blast, waiting as Arch's body briefly stops it before the blast continues at high speed toward her.
((I've been hinting at this since I set it up three posts ago (and charging it just as long), plus your free mana trick upped that to 6-8 posts worth of charge. Honestly, you're pretty ********.))
