In II right before Nanami died I didn't get all 108 stars because I had forgotten that she dies when you go to back to Rockaxe castle gonk I had to restart the whole game! crying

I heard there was a way to save her but no matter what I did she always died I spent like 3 weeks tring to save her before I finally just started the game over

There is, you NEED all 108 stars (cuz you need your last rune magic) and when she dies you have to push all the buttons rapidly or else she'll die. Of course there are somethigs that you need to say to her too during that time.

I messed mine up because I didn't have all 108 stars.

You had to push all kinds of buttons? =O I didn't have to do that. I just needed to have all 108 stars before she gets wounded at Rockaxe and when Dr. Huan comes to deliver the news, he'd just call Shu in to talk to him....No button pressing there... confused

What? I thought you just had to get all of the SoD's before the end of the game, and when she gets wounded, you just have to hurry up and defeat the guy so that you can get her back to the castle as fast as possible so that they could save her... >.>
I'm probably mistaken though. sweatdrop

Actually, I heard that right before Nanami gets hit, you have two options to say something. You have to chose one in order for her to live. Depending on the choices you made in the game, the time to chose the right answer is elongated, so her survival not only depends on the SoDs and your choices, but also your reflexes as well.

This could be totally wrong though.
to save Nanami you have to have all the SoDs when leeknats arrives to your castle you know like in suikoden1, then you will get the forgiver sign, when you are at rockaxe you must choose the proper answers, and Nanami must have a good armor and be leveled up, oh and you have to had all those stupids goodfor nothing squirrels stare and dont know about this one = you had to made all the proper answers in the game, PSS: i saved Nanami and got the good ending in suikoden 2(the one where you save both Nanami ANd Jowy) and the good ending in suikoden 1 1 time i played hehe

No, you only need to have all 108 SoDs before invading Rockaxe (Leknaat will give Riou Forgiver Sign)-and you don't need all the squirrels, just MukuMuku-, then select "Nanami!" before the textbox autocloses. I've heared that she has to have a certain defense stat, but I'm not sure about that one. If, after Dr. Huan announces that Nanami croaked, he then calls Shu in, you know you've saved her.
yep i know that but i think that the others squirrels are for that too, maybe this its only a guess, cause i mean they must be worht something

You have to use it on Gorudo.

And the squirrels (other than Mukumuku) aren't SoD, therefore not important.

i mean they gotta be useful for something nad the file on the memory card changes when you got all of them.

and whats with Gorudo?

They're about as handy as the DoReMi elves on V.

And I've always been able to keep Nanami alive if I "forgiver sign" Gorudo.

Ok, I will clear this.

To save our dear Nanami, you need to get all 108 stars before the final push into Rockaxe. When the time comes when the fat b*****d tries to kill Nanami, you have to chose EITHER of the options presented, but you have to choose fast or else it's bye bye Nanami.

Besides, even says so in the strategy guide...(I think)

Yeah well, the SV strategy guide told me to go to Rainfall. WTF is Rainfall?

Just putting it out there... most startegy guides SUCK. Like SIV, SV and Kingdom Hearts 1/2. Star Ocean 3 and FFX ones saved my life though...

Suikoden 2 guide was alright by me. Besides, I would more likely believe a strat guide than just any stranger.
