Well thats blunt but sadly I would have to agree. It got bad reveiws too. I looked some of them up and the critics were not kind.

Yeah...I could have been more sophisticated in my...displeasure over the movie, but that was faster redface
I was very angry about the movie. I nearly walked out, but as I had already paid for it, I decided to stay.I felt that they really didnt keep much of the book in the movie, other than that there were charaters of the same name and a very general plotline D:
Maybe this is everyone elses' revenge for the plagiarism.

I'm really hoping someone will come and say "Hey, these guys totaly screwed up...lets redo it!" and then they make another movie, but one that follows the story line and isnt so crappy

Eragon is not a book that I have any desire to actually read. So I'll just satisfy myself with the movie and Jeremy Irons. Maybe I'm the only person who liked it? It's like a fantasy version of Star Wars though. xd I wasn't really expecting much going in... so I guess I wasn't disappointed? Except where Jeremy Irons' character dies...
