The cub muses outloud, looking over at Ger on the rierband while paddling.
"I haven't seen him lately, have you? "
Poor, dumb little cub, it never occured to her that Ger might understand any little thing she said. Grinning, she dove into the water, slipping out and attemting to make little waves, her wet fur clinging to her skin in every little wave.

"Um....no." he murmured. Monster? What monster was she talking about.....wait a mintue, what is a monster? By the way Kimaji spoke about how this monster was, it sounded harmless.
"Can we go find it?" Ger asked unwittingly.

She gasps, paddles taking a tiny pause untill she realized she would sink if she didn't continue, and went on. She stard at the cub awkwardly, tail wiggling pathetically under the currents pressure.
"But it'd eat us. "

Ger slowed down his pace just as Kimaji had and then continued like she did. But she was talking so optimistic of it....it sounded like a good idea. But seeing as how she paused and spoke of how it would eat them, maybe it wasn't.
"Oh...okay then." he said. "So how far is it now?"

The cub went back to normal swimming pace, peeking under water every now and then to try and see if she located the monster, but failing. She decided she'd find none, and raised her head above the water again, paddling with ease along with the waters current.
"Not too far. "

Ger smiled as he walked along the water's edge. This was prbably the farthest the Pride Lander has probably been. New places and new people to see and experience. He couldn't wait to grow up and be able to explore further than he has already. He was so happy that Kimaji was the first be met on this journey.
"That's good to hear. I bet they are worried about you Kim." he spoke contently.

"Swaii is probably asleep, or looking for me.. He's very sleepy! "
There was a glimmer of fondness in her voice, she loved her sleepy father even if he was rather boring with him and his.. forever taking naps.
The current was slowing down, and withought the extra impulse, Kimaji was too, the lake was in view now.

"Wanna wake him up?" Ger enjoyed waking up other lions just for the pure joy of seeing them all groggy. "But I think he's looking for you if he cares for you, right?"
As Kimaji started to slow so did Ger. Before them was a massive lake, it was so calm and serene. The Pride Lander's teal eyes lit up at the sight of the body of water.
"Kimaji, you live here?" he asked. "It's....beautiful."

"Swaii sleeps alot, he gets mad if I wake him up, too! " She groaned, leaning backwards and doing a waterflip backwards by accident, snorting when she resurfaces as water got in her nose.
"Yup, I live over there, " She said, raising a paw to point at a mountain, from here you coulden't see the cave's entrance, but she lived there. Though, oosing use of the lifted paw, caused Kimaji to spin, the currentwas weak, but not nonexistant, and enough to push her small body around if she stopped moving.

Ger giggled as the water's current spun the female around like a furry top. It was amusing actually. Sometimes the small things can make anyone laugh no matter how immature it is. Laughing is good for everything.
"Oh?" he chuckled. "So what will he do tah me if I woke him up?" he asked, joking of course. "Will he chase me up the river?"
He squinted his eyes to see if he could see this place were Kimaji lived. "So where is this place of your's? Where is Swaii?" he spoke, not really to Kimaji but enough for her to hear. Ger was still a cub, he just wanted to play.

The cub herself wasen't quite sure, perhaps a scolding or a swat, or something. She evaded getting on Swaii's nerves, not really out of fear but to not upset him.

"Anything?" he asked, taking it quite literally. "Really!? Can he fly like a bird? That way he can find you if you get lost." he teased, but somewhere in there was some seriousness....somewhere. "Well, I can at least take you back to him." he said staring across the lake water surface.
"If you don't want me to come with you any further to Swaii, then that is okay too. This is your Pride not mine." he said with a smile. Perhaps it was best that he, a Pride Lander, not get involved with another's pride.
"I can go back if you want me to. I wouldn't mind escorting you back to your dad."

"No.. " She muttered, before realising flight, she had once! "But Momo can fly! Momo let me fly too! " She squealed, always glad to talk about her friend Momo, though many might not beleive she met a oddess and flew on her back.

"...." he grumbled. What was he going to do. He hated having to make difficult decisions. To go back home before going too far into the forest or escort Kimaji to her father. He had to do the male thing. "Come on, I bet your dad's worried about you." he grinned as he started around ahead.
I just hope Swaii doesn't kill me... the Pride Lander cub gulped.

The cub grins and paddles onward, her route slowed by the fact she had no more handy current to move her quickly through the water, and she had to move a little more towards the bank to not drift away from the shallows and get stuck in the middle of the lake.
Finally, after deciding swimming was more tiring than running or prancing, the cub decides to reach the shallows, and run, slashing alot of water around her in the process.
This never really got old.
