Devi examined her Zoid once more. It might let Kard fix it, but only if she was in the cockpit. She'd have to be anyway, to make sure the systems were all working correctly. The Liger itself never allowed anyone near it unless its pilot was there. That came from being around the girl for so long.
"Would you? That'd be perfect! Because I'm stuck here with it. If the others don't come back, then it's not like I can drive the Hover Cargo across the desert. But the Shield Liger is a different story." She grinned.

"Really, all you should know is that you should avoid the Liger's teeth and claws unless they need to be fixed." She smiled, and went to look for some tools. This entire thing was new, and the garage was more Ryo's territory. Tools... Tools... This might take a while. She looked in the corners of the room, and wherever she saw a drawer.
The Liger had seen where the tools were, of course. It spent much more time in the garage. It probably could have motioned to where they were, but didn't. Devi didn't think to ask the giant machine, so it wouldn't tell.

"A-alright..." Kard spoke as he eyes the teeth. Long, sharp, and dangerous. He would keep in mind to avoid those as he worked. They didn't look like they would need to be fixed, and that was okay with Kard. "You... n-need any help?" It was a programmed response... He didn’t know how much help he could actually be, seeing as he knew where nothing was and this was his first time here.

Devi cursed Ryo under her breath. He'd probably put them in the most obvious place. Which was the only place she wouldn't look. He probably knew that, too. She'd have to ask when he got back. In the mean time, she was able to find a few useable tools. "No, I've got some. Can you use these?" She went toward Kard, showing him the tools she'd found. Behind her, a small machine growled. "Don't be mean to the guest." It went onto her shoulder, and growled much softer than before.

Kard eyed the tools, than the damage. It would not be enough to completely get it fixed, but it would help it.
"Hm, Well... I can try..."
After hearing the little noise from the small machine, he remembered his own little machine. It was advanced in finding repair on Knight. Meant for big zoids, but he might help out here as well.
Kard pulled back his sleeve and tapped a small button on his watch. "Knight, can you tell Lance to come here?"

Any repairs would help out, even if the Liger wasn't completely fixed, it would last. They'd get out of the desert sooner or later. When they did, there'd be a garage. Somewhere. Dragon was still glaring omniously at Kard. She turned her head toward it. "I told you to stop." It wanted to respond with a sarcastic comment, but it came out as another low growl. She ignored it for the moment. She blinked at the watch. "I need one of those." She laughed.

Lance jumped from the cockpit and trailed around from Knight to the hover cargo's door. The small thing, though larger than any Mini known to man, tapped the door lightly. He could read the signal coming from the watch but could not get to it."My Dad makes them for his scientists. I'm sure, if you rally needed one, I can get one from my father. It's not hard to set up with the Zoid..." He looked down at his watch. "Could you open the door please? I-I don't want him to start burrowing..."

Devi didn't really notice the tapping. She didn't know where the Mini-Zoid had been in the first place. It was close to his Zoid, obviously. "That'd make things a lot easier, especially when the Liger's out of earshot."
"Yeah. This thing is new, don't want to mess up the paint job yet." The Hover Cargo was a little banged up at the bottom from its trip through the desert. Not many of the small dents were noticable -Devi hadn't even seen them yet. She ran to a small control panel next to where they'd entered, and opened the door that Lance had tried to get through.

A large shaded mini zoid bolted through the door, only able to guide himself through the cargo by the watches signal. As he navigated through the halls he ran into a few walls in his hastiness, but managed to make it without damaging anything.
Kard looked at the little zoid as it entered. "You know what to do... Try to be careful, this zoid doesn’t have armor like Knight."
The shaded Mini nodded and looked over the Liger.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of the other stuff."
With that he looked at Devi, whom he forgot to retrieve the tools from, and extend a hand for the tools.
"Don't worry, he'll be very careful w-with your friend-d"

The mini zoid captured Devi's attention. She'd have to discover later how it'd managed to weave its way through the halls. For now, she just followed it with her eyes. It was lucky that Ven wasn't here. He might have tried to take the machine apart piece by piece. Though it was unlikely that Lance would let him. She almost answered his second comment, even though he wasn't talking to her. "I'm sure Liger's fine. It's already in better hands than it usually is." She grinned.

Immediately Lance jumped onto the larger zoid and begun with the closest damage on the armor. With the tools Kard also got to work, avoiding the claws and teeth as instructed. By now he had stopped blushing and was just a little more comfortable with the area.

As Kard started to work on the Liger Knight signaled him again, this time transporting a message from his father.
Dr. Richard Fox: DAMNIT BOY! Getting yourself lost! We are testing the King Gryphon and the Berserk Gojulas today! We NEED you there! Get your a** home… NOW! I gave the Nightmare a map so hurry!
Kard's eyes widend as the message went on. "Lance, Common." He held out his arm for the zoid to climb up on.
"I'm sorry it's not done, but I have to go. T-thank you for letting me in…" He spoke quickly to Devi before bolting toward the exit and his own zoid. He didn’t realize he was blushing again… When he gets home, he was sure his father was going to rip him a new one.

"Whoever that was keeps you on a tight leash, huh?" It was a little obvious. She hadn't been paying that much attention, but she could see that whatever was on that message made him leave. "Just don't get lost again. You know where I'll be." She motioned to the Hover Cargo as a whole. It wasn't hard to find if you were looking for it. She waved to him as he left, then opened the dooor he'd came in.
Now all she had to do was wait. And wait some more.
