*There was definite innuendo there. Adina was different from a lot of her kind... She was one of the vampires who maintained a 2nd power base that she could feed and draw off of besides blood.... Sex. She was much like a succubus in the way that she could feed off of sexual energy. As such, it wasn't really surprising that she had just teased about what she had.*

Arr, the succubus of pleasure~. Jaques was not one to fall into traps, at least not all the time. He caught the innuendo, he was a vampyr afterall, not stupid.
He gave an amused smile. "Well, I guess that really just depends on whom you might be poking and prodding." Maybe today wasn't "all the time"?
His white hands went back together and he started to tap his two index fingers together. Than his eyes travelled towards the persecon who had taken his order and his stomache gave a very quiet rumble.

*Adina laughs softly as Jaques picks up the teasing undercurrent in her words. Well... she hadn't been subtle ne? XD Her eyes flick in the opposite direction as she catches sight of what had distracted the other vamp.*
*The young looking persocon, (she seemed only 17 or so in her constructed appearance.) Was wearing a black and red kicthen uniform, red golf shirt with checkered skirt and black apron. A bright and customer friendly smile on her face she carries over the order and sets it down in front of Jaques.*
"Your burger visitor-san. Can I get either of you anything else?"
*How did the thing know he was a visitor? All of the guild's persocons had a DL to a unified mainframe that contains a member database. All member information is automatically updated so that persocons can complete their tasks with the utmost effectiveness.*

First thing Jaques did when the persocon put down his plate was lift up the top bun. After studying the rare burger and making sure there was no mustard or ketchup he put the bun back down. He gave a nod of approval and than answered the girls question.
"Nothing-- Well maybe a glass of white wine?"
He turned back towards his burger and took it in both hands brining it to his mouth, than he realized he still had his metal trap on. So he gave a light laugh and placed the burger back down. He took off the jaw.
"That thing can be an annoyance sometimes."
Jaques tried eating his burger again, this time succeeding and taking a giant bite out of it. He smiled with a slight pleasure as he the food hit his taste buds.
"I'm guessing you don't enjoy these foods anymore?" He asked between bites.

Asai sits calmly. For months now, she hadn't emerged from this chamber of the Dark Sakura's temple. Dragons are known to be stingey and to tirelessly guard their treasures and fortunes. However, this dragoness was guarding a very different sort of treasure.
Crimson eyes glitter eerily in the scattered candlelight as she keeps her post by the entrance. It was the 7th day of the week, the high preistess would bring her food today. Normally, Asai could sustain herself for months without a meal if she'd fed well... but this human body was far less efficient than that of her dragon self. No wonder the tiny mortals were so frail she mused! Still, a dragon as large as she, would have never fit in here much less have gone unoticed.
By now, she was sure there was speculation amidst the other dragons of this guild's mountain range as to where the black and red giant had dissapeared to. She was shielding her pressence heavily. NONE were to know where she was and come wondering. All but the High Preistess herself were oblivious as to the current and very much critical situation at hand...

Adina smiles as the persecon exits to the caf's pantry/celler to fetch Jaques his wine. She eyes the burger in his hands, enjoying the expression of pleasure on his face.
"I can eat and oft' do but all I derrive from natural foods is the pleasure of taste. I gain no nurishment, no."
The persecon returns with the man's white wine and sets it down before him before returning to her duties.

Jaques didn't answer right away, he waited for the wine and sipped some then he placed the glass upon the table to the right of his half empty plate. His eyes stayed on the yellow-ish tinted liquid.
"Well, I am basically human, with a longer life line. I need food to live."
There was a slight raise of his shoulders then he grabbed his hamburger and took another few bites, finishing it off.

Asai's keen hearing picked out the soft slippered footsteps of the woman she'd been waiting for and makes her way over to the barred door in the darkness, to unlatch it and then open it after confirming that it was indeed the honeyed haired elf. She waited in tensed anticipation, there was no being 'too careful' with this mission...
"Asai-san, it's me."
The sweet voice of the High Preistess and 1st Squad Oracle greeted the dragoness's ears through the heavy oaken door. Asai removed the final bolt and swung the heavy door open just enough to let the elf through and then closed it quickly behind her, once again Sealing away the room's existance.
"Good afternoon Oracle Reiyvian. Any news?"
Reiyvian smiled and set a tray laiden with food down on a small stone table and then turned to gaze at Asai in the candlelight.
"Intel from 4th Squad reported that Sierra-samma and Shin-san stopped at an arena complex on their homeward journey. They were gathering a few new faces and should be on their way now... They're roughly 5 days travel by regular means of transport."
"Hmmm... Has anyone asked about my where'a'bouts?"
"Not really, I made it quite clear that you're on an important Solo-mission from Sierra herself and that the less your absence is pointed out, the more successful it will be, so don't worry about your obligations as Squad 2's Seer, this is more important ne?"
"Of course... But man... will I ever be glad to put this behind me... too much could go wrong."
"Agreed... but it will be fine, Sierra-samma will be home before the end of the week and we'll restore her to her proper body as soon as possible."
"Mmm. No sign of them?"
"No... He hasn't made a move in 2 weeks now... at least, not in our boundaries."
"That doesn't mean he hasn't--"
"I know. But, we're doing the best we can ne?"
"Yeah... But is our best good enough?"
"I don't know... Perhaps the Mistress's impulse to build on her forces speaks more than we know... She doesn't go out of her way like that very often... Either she felt a strong pressence and investigated, or she had it in her mind to gather strength this whole time...."
"Sou kaa..."
"Heh, either way... No point in worrying yet. We'll just be on our guard as always ne? It's our job after all!"
"True."
"Well, I'm off... See you later Seer Asai... Take care of them 'til then."
With that the white garbed Oracle was off and Asai once again shut and locked the door, taking up her guard once more. She seats herself at the stone table and picks up a buttered bun from her plate. Dipping it in gravy she nibbles it and gazes at the imprisoned body before her... Ankle length red hair spilled about a heavily pregnant figure, draping about her like a crimson cloak of silk. Her golden eyes closed to the happenings of this world... suspended in animation and time. A feeling of dread crept about Asai's belly as she ate.
"Hurry home hime."

All was quiet in the gardens save for the gentle rustling of wind through the trees and rippling of the water interupted only by the soft tinkling of a hidden bell. A small torteshell kitten slowly and caustiously stalked it's way through the undergrowth, her brilliant blue eyes were wide and alert as her ears flickered as the bell around her neck jingled merrily tied perfectly in place by a delicate purple ribbon. It had been a while since Juuni had been in the DSBG gardens but still she felt at home.
A leaf blew by her on a particularly strong breeze and Juuni's muscles tensed before she pounced after it, stiff legged and playful.
"Mrrreeeooowww~~!" heart

A few feet from the playful kitten, Kimiho napped contently by the water's edge. Curled up on a warmed stone, the GUARDIAN 4th Squad seer sunned herself lazily. It had been a busy few days for her squad, they'd been tracking reports of Sierra's travels and making sure that nobody interfered with her journey home... as well, there had been reports of mass violence and slaughter in an outlaying district that brushed borders with the guild and they'd been keeping a close watch on it. If things carried over into their territory, action would be taken!
But that was work, and Kimi finally had a shift off... It felt good to just sprawl and not worry. She was awoken from her sleepy state by a playful mew, her ears twitching she rests her whiskered head on her paws and looks around, quickly spotting Juunikyuu.
Smiling that fanged smile as only cats can do, Kimi called out, happy to see the other feline she called a friend.
"Nyo!~ Juuni-chan, is that leaf giving you a hard time?"

Juuni turned mid pounce at the sound of Kimi-chan's voice, was caught off balance and tumbled down to earth with a muffled bump rolling tail over head a few times before coming to a stop by hurtling into a bush.
"Nyooooww~" sweatdrop
Slowly Juuni backed out of the bush and the tiny kitten shook herself down before giving a similar fanged smile and trotting over to Kimi, the leaf forgotten.
A few feet away she crouched behind a clump of grass that didn't really cover her and the tip of her tail began to twitch, shoulders rolling and eyes narrowing. Her intentions were really quite clear. whee

"Sou kaa... Well then, here I come!~"
Kimiho crouched and as her muscles tensed, she sprang forward like a coiled spring, her target, the not-so-stealthy kitten simillarily trying to pounce her. Kimi laughed as she lept forward, planning on tumbling with her furry friend and batting at her ears and tail in good sport.
It was likely that the 2nd officer was able to be such good friends with her, because playing with Juuni allowed her to put status and rank behind her and just enjoy herself as the feline that was so much of who she was.
"Gotcha' Juuni-chan!!~" 4laugh heart

Juuni saw what was coming and made to turn to sprint away but to no avail. Kimi would manage to pin her back end as the small kitten wriggled and twisted, batting at her friends ears before managing to break free and jump with a sort of elegent half twist that only cats seem to be able to manage onto her friends back to begin chewing playfully on one of her ears.
Who ish gots who Kimi-chan~? The kitten purred smugly.

Kimiho squeaked as Juuni got the drop on her and swatted at her ears. Mewing a battle cry she drops to her belly and rolls over on her back, pulling the wee one into a headlock and nipping at her scruff scream heart

Juuni squealed as she was toppled onto her own back and began to yowl in protest at the headlock and scruff nipping, trying to wriggle backwards out of the headlock but only succeeding in making her neck look like a ruffed collar while her bell jingle loudly.
Nyyyaaaahh~ No fair! Chu ish bigger than me~~!
