Teagan was, to put it lightly, scared out of his wits. The fur on his tail and his ears was all frazzled out, and he could feel his hands starting to shake. What did people do in movies now? Since she thought he was just like a filmstar it was something he should know. Remembering the last romantic movie he had seen, he was more than a little worried. They usually kissed.
Thinking maybe she wouldn't get mad, since it was what the people in the movies did after all and she admired them so much, he made up his mind. It wouldn't be the first time he'd kissed a girl, well it sort of would. The first time had been a mistake when Beckie had assumed he liked her and given him a kiss, but he didn't remember being this scared that time. Pushing his fear behind him, he leaned in slowly, heart still pounding in his head, and gave her a quick, nervous kiss.

As he kissed her Tyyne was totally confused. What was he doing ? He was kissing her ? Omg, this was her first real kiss ! Like...like in a movie. She was much too excited to stop thinking or close her eyes in any way. It must have looked pretty ridiculous how she stared at him in disbelief.
Alright, he probably liked her. Although some guys in the foto love stories only kissed girls for fun. Teagan wasn't one of these guys was he ?
Finally Tyyne remembered that you were supposed to close your eyes when kissing. So she did and very slightly pushed her lips against his. Was that right ? She had never kissed before. Did this mean he was her boyfriend now ? Did she want a boyfriend ?
Tyyne was scared.

Opening his eyes again, Teagan was slightly dazed. She hadn't pulled away, quite the opposite in fact, and now she wasn't running away or mad at him. So she liked him to? Did they mean they were going to start dating? Would his mom let him date? Did he care what his mom thought? So many things were rushing through the lemur's head that he didn't notice how close he was staying to her.
It felt nice to be close to her, just sitting there peacefully. But alas, peace was never in the cards in the Russo house. Not when it was needed at least. That would be asking for far too much, it was a wonder they had had their privacy for this long."Aww, isn't that so cute. Little Teagan's got a girlfriend," a voice cooed from the doorway, nearly causing the startled lemur to scream. The speaker was Roscoe, the oldest male in the house, Tea's only real 'big brother'. Normally, the Relikit wasn't a big hassle, but there was no way he could give up an opportunity like this to embarass his little brother. Quickly turning to look over his shoulder, he shouted, "Hey Mora, come look at this!"Tea felt, in short, like he was going to die, but he couldn't make himself let go of Tyyne's hands, that would make her think he didn't really like her.

As the kiss was finished somehow and they were interrupted Tyyne felt happy for a short moment. She had been kissed. First kiss and it had been alright. Nice indeed.
Looking at the door she felt horrible though. She didn't know that guy, but from his words he had to be a brother of Teagan. And he was calling for more people !
Tyyne really wanted to run away, but he was standing at the door and wouldn't let her through probably. Girlfriend ? She didn't know about such things, she wasn't sure if she wanted that yet. That would mean that Teagan would always kiss her and that was nice, but the daisy girl wasn't sure if she wanted that yet.
She blushed and was close to cry. No, she wouldn't cry. Still she bit her lip and wanted to hide somewhere.

Suddenly becoming defensive, Tea pressed his ears down against his head and wrapped his arm around Tyyne's shoulders, hoping she wouldn't cry. He didn't want her to be upset, never. But especially not now. "Back off Roscoe. It's not funny," he barked, glaring at the older boy.
Roscoe, slightly startled by the lemur's turn around, waved his hands in front of himself, "Hey hey, don't shoot the messenger. It's not my fault you were snogging when I walked in. Mom just wanted me to tell you we're about to leave. Which car are you two going in?"
Though he felt a bit bad that he had snapped at his brother for being himself, he was still angry at him. "The one without you in it," he said, calming himself down a bit, "With mom I guess." He turned to Tyy curiously, wondering if she had any objections to the decision, "That ok?"

Tyyne swallowed to keep herself from crying as she felt Teagan's arm support her. It felt nice, but it overwhelmed her a bit. Still she didn't move and just looked at her own shoes.
The Church ! She had totally forgotten about it and now that she had been reminded the excitement came back. That was very alright with her. Going with Ul would be nice and it would distract her from the kiss and Roscoe. Tyyne nodded.
Almost accidently she leaned against him and stared at her purse. Would they leave now ? Please...quick.

Quickly removing his arm when she seemed upset, Tea stood and rolled his sleeves down. His mom would get mad if she saw them all rolled up getting wrinkled. Ul's voice calling from outside gave him ample reason to force a smile and nod his head to the door, "We'd better get going Tyy, or she'll start yelling."
Saved by the mom. Wonder how often that would be true, he thought, just glad that he wouldn't have to spend any more time with Roscoe. When they got to the church he'd find him and Tyy a seat away from the Relis, which hopefully wouldn't be too hard. Glancing at the clock, he added, "I think we're going to go eat after the service."

"Yes...but Tea... ?" Tyyne got up and her heart raced. Did she really want to ask that. No, she didn't dare. Biting her lip she shook her head and turned towards the door.
"Yes, let's go then. I'm..excited." In fact her thoughts were only swirling around the kiss and if they could do it again. She had to read about in in the magazines and if she was his girlfriend because of this. "Just you and me ?"

"Huh?" He seemed confused as he straightened out his tie and headed to the door. Oh, she thought he meant they were going to eat, "With my family," he explained, hoping it wouldn't disappoint her, "We could sit by ourselves though, if you want."
As it seemed, he wasn't very good with girls, especially not girls he liked. But that wouldn't stop him from trying to be a gentlemen. Or at least a nice guy.

"No, no, we don't have to." Tyyne said quickly and smiled slightly. She waited for him and followed towards the door. Still she couldn't take the suspense.
"Why did you do that ?" The daisy girl almost whispered and her golden eyes showed fear. What would he say now ?
Her hand lay on the door's handle. He better answered quick, the others were waiting.

Why did he do that? For a moment the lemur had no idea what she meant, and was about to ask, then it hit him. She was asking why he had defended her when Roscoe had come in. At least, that's what he thought. The others were waiting, but he didn't care, they could wait, this was important.
"Because... You looked like you were going to cry, I thought it was my fault," he said, his voice quieter than usual. He was looking slightly down at his feet, worried that he may have made her mad, or worse. "And because I don't like to see you cry, I don't like to see you upset," he added, lifting his eyes up for her reaction, whether good or bad.

She saw the puzzled expression on Teagan's face and wondered if she had said something terrible. As he answered though a frown appeared on Tyyne's face. What was she talking about ? Crying ? She hadn't wanted to cry when he had kissed her.
"But...I liked the kiss." She whispered and quickly opened the door. If he had only kissed her because she had been insecure then...The Daisy girl seemed quite confused as she slowly walked towards the car.

The lemur's throat tightened up when she spoke. Wrong again. Stupid Teagan. He stood frozen in the doorway for a few seconds, the closed it quickly and chased after her. He needed to sort this out before they got in the car. "Tyyne," he nearly yelled, grabbing her arm by accident as he got next to her. Another bad move.
"I-" he started, trying to think of how to explain. Stick to the truth monkey, that way you can't be wrong. "I didn't know what you were talking about. I thought you meant why did I put my arm around you. I liked the kiss too, and I kissed you because I really like you and I don't want you to hate me." The boy was almost blue in the face from lack of breathing by the time he finished, but he had said what he needed to say.

She heard her name, but didn't dare to turn around. Tyyne wanted to see the church now. She didn't want to be late and upset his mother and...
The daisy girl turned around as he grabbed her arm and was about to pull away as he started to talk. Her brain felt a bit dizzy as she got the information. He really liked her like that. Her lips partened to reveal a smile and she nodded.
"I think you should show me the church now, Tea."

He smiled, lifting his ears up again, so she wasn't mad, that was good. "Right," he agreed, not wanting any other catastrophe to happen. Maybe once they'd been to church bad things would stop happening. Though that was even a stretch for his faith.
Ul drove a mini van, and it strangely had fewer kids that the other two cars. The passengers were simply Ul in the driver's seat with Tangia in a carseat beside her, Tea and Tyy in the next row, and Ilori and Isaura with their odd little bottle in the very back. The gem fae twins were too preoccupied with their sweet smelling prize, which they called Ardice, to bother their brother, so he wasn't worried.
It was a fairly short drive, Ul had picked the house on its location, and they soon parked in front of a large old cathedral whose parking lot was already almost full. Alright, so maybe Tea had been a bit lax on details, she had probably already known he was Catholic, so it shouldn't have been too much of a shock.
The teen's heart warmed up a bit as he got out of the van and pointed up to the bell tower, "We're not even late." He had kept using the word church instead of mass, figuring it was a bit less strict of a term, and didn't really know what was so different between the two. The gem faes hadn't come for the service, neither were particularly religious, and quickly flitted off to find a place where they could spend the hour or two and play with their new 'charge'.
Tangia however, stared at the building with wide eyes, holding tightly to her mother's hand. Looking at Tyyne, she whispered, "This is the house of God." So the kid was a little creepy, everyone had creepy siblings. At least Teagan hoped they did. He offered his hand to Tyy as the first bells started to chime, knowing just where they could sit that she would be comfortable.
