It's so fun to say... North Hollywood. But even in North Hollywood, it's all divided in neighborhoods... Toluca Lake, Valley Village... NoHo's the theatre district -- which is why it's called "NoHo"; it's supposed to be like Soho on the west coast, or something.

LOL Could be... But you'd have to go up the 5 or the 405 to get here, and I wouldn't wish either of those on anyone!

Ugh, I hate the 405.
My parents used to always use it to go to my grandparents in orange county. Its always such a b***h right in the pass through the santa monica mountains and sometimes even all the way to LAX.
So now my parents take the 210 to the 57

Both of them can be a b***h. One time, a trip that usually takes around 1hr 15 mins from SD to Santa Ana took me almost three hours!

Yeah, the 210 is usually so much better than the 10 or the 60, so I actually use that to get to Riverside from here... well, I do have to take the 15 down to the 60 eventually, but still.
The only positive thing I can say about the 405 is that when I lived at Cal State Long Beach, I had friends going to school in Brentwood that I used to drive up to visit, and I managed to get my best time for that trip down to 20 minutes.
Um... but that was at 2:30 in the morning and I'm still amazed I didn't get arrested for speeding.
Not ticketed. Arrested. I was in a hurry. o_O*;

My solution to the LA traffic problem?
... I have no car. I take the subway.
And thus I have a marvelous reason why I can't rush to my mother's side every time she decides to have a drama!
