Kinami stopped on the outskirts of the village, then faced Kei. She was obviously upset, and Kinami wanted to know why. "Alright, so what's got a beautiful girl like you crying your eyes out?" She looked directly at Kei, concern floating off of her in waves.

"I don't know...I was surprised by Rai...then shocked by Katare...I just lost control of my emotions..."She mumbled,"Now Rai's upset too...I don't know what to do..." By this time she was trembling all over and rocking back and forth.

Kinami grasped one of Kei's shoulders, then stooped so that she was looking at the young kunoichi's downturned face. "Listen, sweetie. You need to calm down before I can say anything, alright? Take deep, even breaths. If you start to hyperventilate, hold you breath, alright? Calm down and get a grip."

Kei did as she was told and breathed in deep. After she had calmed down, she looked at Lady-Kage and asked,"What should I do?"

Kinami nodded at something unknown. "Alright, first off, how do you feel about Rai? Do you like him, or are you just going with the flow?" She knelt on the ground, her back having begun to hurt from her position.

"I don't know...I'm not sure what to feel...or how it feels,"she rambled on stupidly,"He's the only person who's been nice to me...he was the first to actually talk with me..." Thinking about this had Kei so confused.

"You haven't known him for long, so here's my advice." Kinami took a moment to collect her thoughts. "Don't move faster than you're comfortable with. Give him a chance, but keep some options open. Don't throw yourself headlong into a relationship unless you're ready for the consequences. Be prepared for anything to happen, but have fun. And, above all else, make your boundries clear. Don't let a guy make you do something you don't want to." Kinami turned her head to the side a bit. "Does that help at all?"

"Yes,"Kei nodded. She already had most of that in her mind,"I just don't know how to tell him..or ask him...does he just want to be friends or more...? I don't want to hurt him...I've hurt too many people...and I think he thinks I ran because of him..."

Kinami let out a sigh. "Honey, you need to learn to be a bit more firm with others. Tell him that you'll give him a chance, but that he needs to respect your boundries. The same goes for you with him, by the way. You should also ask him straight out about his intentions."

Kei blushes at that prospect...she wanted to observe and come to as much of a conclusion as she could before risking the embarassment of that...She sighed and then asked,"Should I go find him and apologize then, Lady-Kage?"

Kinami straightened and had her mischievious smile back. "Lady-kage makes me feel old. Call me Kinami. And I would give him a small while to calm down before going after him- then again, if he's disappeared, you might have to start looking now." Her smile dropped a bit. "Seriously, though, use those pent-up emotions in there to stand up for yourself and your beliefs, alright?" Kinami pushed her index finger into Kei's forehead, emphasizing her point.

Kei nods, "Yes Lad- oh ah Kinami."Kei turns and heads back toe=wards the Cafe. I hope he's still ther...I hope he's not mad...why am I so confused...What am I going to say...

Kinami smiled brightly. "Would you like me to hunt him down and direct him somewhere?" she asked slyly. "It'll take me less time to search the entire village than you."
