Mizuho slaps her forehead and rubs her temples obsessively. "Chrys, when we get home, it's training time."
Chrys merely scratches her head ruefully and moves away from the perverted monk. Then she turns to Kagome and asks, "So you wear a school uniform too, eh? Obviously we go to different schools, hence the different colors and styles of uniform. As for how I got here, that would take a long while..."
Mizuho nodded, half-listening, for she was brooding over what Sango had said about Naraku absorbing youkai.

Kagome put her head in her hand. "It's times like these when I wonder why I even bother coming here. I'm pretty much public enemy number one for most demons. No offense to Kirara." She kept herself armed and ready to fight. "Oh and the jewel shard is getting closer." She glanced up ahead of her, where she felt the shard, or... shards? "Three of them?"

"Shards?" asked Mizuho questioningly, emerging from her thoughtful state. "I thought that was just a legend." Chrys looked, astonished and perplexed, at Mizuho.

"The Shikon no Tama is very real and very powerful. It's important that we get the shards away from those youkai and complete the Jewel so Naraku can't take over Japan. Everyone on Kirara's back! We're attacking!" says Sango.
"Rawr!" roars Kirara, ready for battle.

"All right! Let's go!"
As they head northeast, they suddenly encounter a very large Spider Demon. It doesn't have the symbol on its back that signifies it as Naraku, but he might have finally figured out a way to hide it.
"Kagome! Is that the one with the shards?"

Kagome shook her head. "It's in the... cliff?" Her eyes widened as she noticed the spider demon. It didn't seem harmful, but you could never be too careful in feudal Japan. "It's either in the cliff, or behind it." She readied herself and glanced to the other side of her. She didn't want to think about how powerful this creature was, three shards would be nearly impossible without Inuyasha. Inuyasha, where are you when we need you?
((I just thought of something... where is Miroku sitting? I'm sitting directly behind you, but is Miroku in front of you, or behind me?))

"Watch out everyone! Sango, can you try to get Kirara by the legs? We can immobilize it!" *Gets staff ready*
((Another thought, are Crys and her companion with us? Or did we just leave them there?))

Sango and Kirara dodge the webbing and let Miroku off to get in position. Sango and Kirara fly toward the spider's legs, dodging the webs it shoots out with ease. When they're near the legs, Sango gives the signal.
"Ready, Housh-sama!" she calls.

Kagome sat there, wodering what in the world Sango and Miroku planned to do. She was still armed and ready to do anything. BUT, she was still worried and somewhat angry. I can do this! But if we make it out alive, Inuyasha's dead! And he knows it! Kagome readied herself for ay order from the two, and gave Miroku a nod.

((Crud! I am SO sorry! I haven't found the time recently to post!))
Mizuho flew off with them, dragging Chrys with her. ("Ow! Hey, leggo've my arm!") Mizuho finally got so annoyed of her constant complaining from being hurt that she used magic on the half-demon, making her float along beside the sprite with a eerie lavender glow. ("You sissy." "Hey!")
As they saw the spider demon, Chrys gave a shudder, for she was not a fan of bugs. But Mizuho rolled her eyes and dragged the girl with her through the air to the right side, and then the two of them began making strange hand signs in the air, muttering continuously. Their hands grew different shades of lavender, and they each took one of the other's hands. They pointed that joined hand at the bug's side, and a burst of lavender power scythed through the air, sawing three of the arachnid's legs off.

*Miroku looks wonderingly at the duo, distracting himself for just a moment, before a blob of web misses him by inches.*
"Aah! All right, that's it."
*Takes ofuda from clohing, chanting all the while. Throws it at the spider, freezing him for a few moments*
Sango! Your turn!"

"HIRAIKOTSU!" Sango throws her boomerang at the spider and saws off its two back right legs.
Kirara takes a chomp out of the spider's abdomen.
