Dear kozi,

I felt the urge to write to you and let you know how much I enjoy the music that you make. I am a fan of not only your solo career, but also Eve Of Destiny. You have been my favorite musician for quite awhile and I finally got up the nerve to tell you so. I know that you do not need validation from me but I felt that you might be interested in getting feedback concerning the music you create.

Your work for Izayoi no Tsuki was a wonderful idea. I had never before heard of someone writing a sort of soundtrack for a book until I heard the work you did for this project. The music worked in more than just an aural way. It actually presented visuals all on its own and seemed to tell a story without using words. You were able to communicate a narrative sort of thread with just instruments. Your instrumental work is quite moving in my opinion. I hope to hear more such projects in your career.

Khaos/Kinema was a very well thought out release. Everything seemed to focus around a theme of opposites. The songs, the cd packaging, and the photos for the cd booklet all went along with this theme. Having the softer and more playful songs “Honey Vanity” and “Promenade” on one cd while putting “Cacophony” and “ISM” on a separate cd was a good choice. Having the songs grouped this way on separate cds but within the same release lets both styles of music seem drastically different from one another while still being part of a central theme. This was a single, unified release of two musical stylings from opposite spectrums. Khaos/Kinema was a very clever release.

Catharsis is one of my favorite cds. Every song seems to play off of each other in such a way that it all feels connected despite the fact that each song is unique from one another. The cd shows that you have a wide variety of musical styles while still creating a collection of songs that is unique to your style. The songs on this release embody what I have come to recognize as your musical style (as varied as that style can be and is).

Loki N’ Roll was quite a departure from what I was expecting. There were songs here and there that I recognized as being the style I would expect but there were also songs that took me by surprise. I commend you for taking such a dramatic turn in the direction of your music. This release helped to further the definition of what your style is and what your musical style can be and will be. I am amazed at the versatility of the music you create and this cd just gives me more of a reason to think of you as such a versatile musician.

I know that your career is based in Japan but you also have a good sized North American fanbase. I have talked to many people online who are fans of your work and are from Canada and The United States Of America. Do you have any intentions of starting an international fanclub so that we can stay better informed about your activities? As a fan, I want to support and follow your career and I know that many of your other North American fans feel the same way. If a fanclub is out of the question due to funding or because the decision isn’t up to you, might I suggest a live event in the USA? So many of your fans here in North America would love to have the opportunity see you perform live.
