white hazmat suits and white masks for a ghostbusters routine (lol the look that the security guards gave us when we entered the field was priceless), fire extengusiers (for the same show and btw brrr...), vampire fangs, we're getting bellydancing stuff (hip scarfs mainly) soon (i hope), shalls, lightsabers for a star wars show (lol one of the girls tripped down the stairs during the routine right next to the band)

turns out we didn't use fake violing this year. but we did have these massive flags. i leaned it against the school once, and it went to the middle of the second story window at least.

Our marching season show was Cats, and we used double flags. One of the guards a competition we went to used chains at one point..... it was pretty kinky looking. xd

My guard has spun poles with special tape on them to make them look like wooden staffs, giant metal triangle things (and I mean GIANT), bows (it was a show about Orion), glass panels, more giant triangles (that were mirrors, this time), wood planks, and... I think that's it.

My freshman year we did Tommy and the song Pinball Wizard. Our BD bought bouncy balls for us to use.... but they were blue. The blue balls jokes were endless. We got silver ones the week before competition.
I'm really trying to get chainflags for this year. twisted They're awesome. And sexy.
We have these hoops that have sparkly confetti stuff stuck to them. We only use them in the stand but we look like cheerleaders. So glad I'm captain this year so I can say NO to hoops. smile

let me just say I think chain flags suck. my guard had them for last years marching season and they were in a pouch in our uniform so it looked like we had tumors. horrible. and we couldn't put them back in the pouch when we were done so in the middle of the opener (and there always seemed to be a judge near me) you could see guard girls all around shoving chain flags down their shirts.
anyways. my coach told us that one year he taught a winter guard that spun music stands. yes music stands. this subject came up because a bunch of girls on my guard wanted to spin the props we were using for that season, because they were 6 foot coat racks. O.O
