((Considering that you got him yesterday xp I got Tuz 4 months ago XD))
Tuzwa purred at the weight of his head. She buried her head further into his mane. His scent made her smile and the tuft of her tail rested on his. "Really? My mother never told me how they met. They were too afraid of their prides." She sighed and nestled into him. "I wouldn't mind hearing it Kazi." Tuzwa always loved listening to stories. It was something that always helped her rest.

Kazi smiled and lowered his head to rest on his paws agian, wondering how he should share his parents' story. "Uhh...well, basically they met as cubs. Back then, they absolutely despised each other. I mean, he claim she to be the snob and she dubbed him the most arrogant lion on earth. The years wore on, and my father left with his family for a little while, and by the time he got back, they were already in their late adolescent years." He chuckled lightly and continued. "My mother was betrothed to another lion, but she missed her opponent horribly, so they constantly spent time with each other. My father said the water hole and behind pride rock was where they met almost all the time. Sometime they went hunting together. He said each moment with her seemed to last forever.
He cleared his throat. "But my mother's betrothed wanted to rush things. He wanted cubs already, and when my mother refused and ran off, he chased after her. My father protected her and forced the other lion out. After another year or so my mother and father uhh...yeah. And then I was born." He had a smile on his face, and he looked up again at the night sky. "My father always used that story to lull my sister and I to sleep if we couldn't fall asleep on our own."

Tuzwa listened closely to his story. As it went on she began to wonder how her own parents met. She would never know but it was something to dwell on. Her tail swished against his when he finished. "They sound like they were happy together. Just like my parents. I never saw them argue or become angry." She sighed and moved her head closer to his. A smile was wide on her maw as her eyes fell closed. Maybe staying in the pridelands wasn't a bad thing. "Thank you for telling me." Her voice was tired but she wasn't quite ready to sleep. She just wanted to feel him near her and listen to his breathing in time with the crickets.

(( xd Sorry, I got caught up doing something for a moment. Had to install a program for my cousin. LoL. ))
Kazi smiled, and licked her cheek before lying his head down closely beside hers, his muzzle almost touching hers as he closed his eyes and started to fall asleep. "Yeah...my parents hardly ever had arguements..." he said sleepily. The smile was still present on his face as his tail swayed in the background, landing gently on hers after a moment or two longer. "Still a bit restless?" he asked, a single eye open so she knew he was still awake, even if he sounded otherwise.

Tuzwa chuckled when he licked her. "Parents are good that way..." She was so tired that her words had ceased to make sense even to her. Her swaying tail finally lay still under his. One eye opened slightly. "I'm just tired now." She touched her nose to his and gently placed her head down trying to lull herself to sleep.

Kazi smiled and closed his eyes, letting out a small yawn and sighing softly once his mouth was closed. "Good night then..." he said, his voice a mere whisper as he spoke. Within minutes he was fast asleep, and the gentle rise and fall of his chest was the only signs of life in him. His dreams were memories of when he was younger, and he mumbled in his sleep.

Tuzwa smiled as he fell asleep. "Good night Kazi..." Her head tilted to the side as she fell slowly into sleep. Her body fell limp as her dreams overtook her thoughts. Thoughts of her life with her cubs and a love that she hoped to find one day.
