• Ushas Mudra: Interlace fingers with left little finger on the bottom, with the right index finger on top for men and the left for women. The Venus mounds at the base of the thumbs are pressed together channeling sensuality and sexuality, and glandular balance, helping to focus and concentrate. Ushas Mudra is usually used by the Tribal or Ritual castors for some of their higher Level spells, but its more common use is that of young Empyreans hoping to attract partners or lovers. Ushas Mudra affects the chemistry and space between individuals, heightening interest, attraction and communication. Along with increase in energy, it also tends to cause people to become impulsive and irrational.
-3% ~ when used to increase sexual tension and/or impulsive behavior

Mahasirs is a first aid mudra, assisting in the replenishment of chakra energy, and directing this energy to help wounds heal faster. It can also help the mind recover from offensive magic more quickly.

Multiple pairs of boots can be equipped - although you must equip one boot per one ring, ie one ring on each foot. Only one pair of boots may be used at any given time.

Crafting
Crafting is a useful tool to have. Obviously everything in Empyrean city needs to be made. Somethings are harder than others to make, as some Crafting skills are more involved than others to perfect.

If one masters even one of these skills, they can apply it to other skills, such as Alchemy, Crafting, Magic Casting etc... When you do the item becomes Vesta styled, giving it twice the duration of a normally crafteditem.

Cicus Pets

In the Old World there were a lot more animals than are left around today. In our modern day you may see a few insects, birds and vermin, but the days of large land animals is mostly past. We're lucky that there are still some wild herds in the west to feed us, but for the most part, wild animals are hard to find.

Now and then, however, a wild animal somehow manages to bind itself to Ether, taking essence into its body like we Empyreans do. These creatures are called Cicus animals. The Cicus animals are stronger and more resilient that their native counterparts, and these animals can be absolutely anything!

The Cicus animals choose you, not you them. They do this by selecting an Empyrean they wish to bond themselves to, and when they speak through Telepathy, the bond is formed with the one who hears the message. This telepathic bond enables silent communication between Cicus and Guardian, and it also allows this pet to be stored within a technoring modified for animal storage.

Cicus are distinct by their varied colours that tend to mix what we would term Alignment colours, and their glowing emissions usually in a talisman marking on their bodies. When Cicus animals stay with an Empyrean for a long time, they can sometimes develope the ability to cast magic or use magical items on behalf of their Guardian.

Crafting Quest Response

Looking over the boot some more, Mat frowned as he tried to remember everything he'd learned....

And then, his face suddenly lit up as he remembered. "Ah, that's it!!" he blurted out, and grinned. Of course. Some idiot apparently hadn't let the 'boots cool down before trying to use them again. And so they'd overheated and messed up the feathers.

Flipping Metro's note over, he wrote on the back of it,

"I think I figured it out now! When are you free and I'll come by."

A small note was left in Mathiaz' room on the bedside table, attached to a small cloth-wrapped parcel.

The note reads:
"Mathiaz,
Congratulations, my love! I hear that you went in to do your Transcendence exam. I know you'll do well. For a little congratulatory present, I hope you can use this... I heard that you only had one, and on its own, it's not too useful... Hopefully the style will match!
Enjoy~
Love, Grave"

Within the square of red fabric is a small gold technoring. On releasing it, a brand new Aeroboot whirrs into life.

Turned in the papers for my Ascendance a couple days ago~!

I'm a little nervous about it, but at the same time... really excited. I can't wait to become a One. 'Cause then I can move in with Grave... I gotta catch up to him, seriously!

He's gonna end up waaaay ahead of me and then ... well ... I'll be upset. Let's put it that way.

I still want to be able to go and collect a Husk with him someday. It'd be fun to watch over a Zero of our own ... sort of.

Right now, it seems kinda weird how much time has gone by. I look at the new Zeros and... geeeez. They all seem so young and new, compared to me. And isn't that a trip?
