Demi Veritaz I live right by one. The park is also right beside it. I spend a great deal of time in that cemetary and the park. Im also probably cursed from laughing at the names on the graves. One actually said "Richard F. Cunts" mrgreen XD I'm sure your not cursed, maybe, who knows. Perhaps Richard is laughing with you? blaugh

Tsubaki89 I love cemeteries! They're so peaceful, and they're a great place to sit and get inspiration for poetry and paintings and such. 3nodding 3nodding I agree. Due to the peacefulness it makes one wonder, kind of like looking at stars.

I like cemeteries. They are peaceful, and very quiet. The headstones are also very creative. I go there to visit my mother's grave.
You're not crazy, don't worry.

I dont mind them but they dont make me cream my pants or nothing.
One of my pet peeves are teeny bopper gowths going to gravyards and photo whoring it up.
To me its disrespectful of the dead.
I saw this one girl take a picture right next to susan B anthony's grave. When i asked her about the grave, she said "oh...some lady...DONT I LOOK GREAT IN THIS PICTURE?"
i ripped it up, threw it at her and told her to educate herself on her femmi roots. talk2hand

I go to the cemetaries a lot, too. I spend most of my time there... drawing, reading, or just looking around. Hardly anyone's there at the time that I am there, so it's nice and quiet.

Three days after Easter I was wandering around a cemetry waiting to see of anyone rose from the dead. They didn't, a little disappointed I gotta say. But I did see an owl. There is such a centering calm to the dead. And walking around a moonlight cemetery is one of the most pleasing things that one can do.
I love the graves that have the iron fences around them.

No, it is not weird at all to like a cemetery. They are very relaxing, calming, and just plain amazing. I have seen pictures of some really beautiful ones, for here we have just small, dinky ones. Nothing special, just the graves, markers, and that is it. -sigh- I must find good ones.
Anyway, another term for a cemetery is necropolis which means, City of the Dead. I prefer that term, for it makes me feel I am passing through a small village in which everyone is friendly.
