1un4r5h4d0w Lord Thatlatu of the Tofu rolelice D3m0n1ca rolelice Fullmetalfiend I've Been using a Red Octane Soft Pad (Ignition) but it only lasts me about 3 months before the buttons start to get stuck or something. Does Anyone know whether There are any soft pads that will last or should I just save myself the trouble and get a metal pad? i got a red octane pad 2 but mine still works after ive been playin heavy on it like crazy for like over three months eek but who is countin question What? Anyway, you should invest in a cobalt flux. They may be $300, but it's well worth it. besides my red octane was only like $79.99 + tax My metal pads were $6 + S&H, no tax. (so what if S&H was $70 per item, I still got 'em cheaper than you) You got gypted, boy. The shittiest metal pad out there will still outlast the best soft pad there is by years. You mean $60, not $6 right? rofl Any pad that isn't metal is a waste of time unless you don't plan on playing past Standard. Nope, $6, that's why I didn't go buy them instantly. The shipping was $69.99 each though. I think it was because they (the company that sold them to me) don't refund shipping. That way, they could still make shitloads of money if their products were faulty.

ActuallyI managed to get a B on Burning heat, heavy with my $20 soft pad from gamestop I've managed an A on Burning Heat [HVY] on my soft pad, but I would have AA'ed it on metal. 4 pad misses and one time where the pad slid 3 feet from on hasty step on my part. Those would have been avoided on a metal pad.

Really? surprised Good to hear, I was worried that they'd last me 1 month then stop working. sweatdrop In two years I'll have a part time job and lots more skill; if they last me until then, I'll be happy.
Sweet! I'll look forward to it; people think I'm a DDR god, so they totally go eek when I tell 'em about you and the other elites.

I'll go to your arcade and charge people to watch me AAA something. The money will go toward a Supernova machine.

They might actually go along with that! whee There's just one problem: I'd never be able to get on the high score board, and my sister would therefore never recognise me as the best DDR player in Milwaukie. sweatdrop EDIT: Nobody around here's ever seen a AAA, period.

(or 3-song+bonus or 3-song+bonus+encore)

That's what I did. I have a fully functional metal pad, no money, and a 31.1 lb piece of scrap metal with spare panels attached. rolleyes Well, okay, I have some money. But now I'm $146 further away from a CF doubles set than I was.
