Preventer Void Of course Quatre's sensitive, he has 39 sisters. Can you imagine what would happen if he ever left the seat up? That would be amazing

I like 4xD and when I write it's the pairing I use! Not much series support but I love the opposites attact dynamic heart I've had some good friends in the 3x4 community too so I can see where they're coming from on that pairing although it doesn't float my boat.
But what does everyone think of Quatre x Catherine?
Personally I'm pretty lukewarm on it, it doesn't excite me in the least! But you see a fair amount of it out there, mostly because Quatre and Trowa are friends and Catherine is bound to be in the mix!

I don't think she actually slapped him, not that slapping precludes a relationship, if anything it adds a little zing. If you look at most of the "relationships" everyone's been a little tough on each other from time to time, that's what makes it so interesting! And I agree with Oreasa, the writer makes or breaks the pairing in fanfiction, especially since it's all left so ambiguous in the series except in a few rare cases i.e. ZechsxNoin heart

I like 4xD, though I can see the possibility for both pairings.
I think Dorothy and Quatre together make inifinite possiblities for a really good fic. Because Q. is so gentle he's bound to work down Dorothy until she either goes crazy and kills him or gives in!

Just popping in to make a quick comment.
While browsing Wikipedia, I looked up the article on Jericho, a member of the Teen Titans, and learned that his creators tinkered with the idea of having him be gay. However...
"While Marv and I did discuss the possibility of Joseph Wilson being gay, Marv decided that it was too much of a stereotype to have the sensitive, artistic, and wide-eyed character with arguably effeminate features be also homosexual."
I think that pretty nicely sums up my opposition to Quatre being depicted as gay in fanfiction.

Like I've said before, give me proof and I will submit that any pairing is possible. That out of the way, I have a lot of trouble seeing Quatre with most of the women in the series, Dorothy especially. She stabs him at one point which to me says "I don't like you very much." Also the fact that she just doesn't seem like the type of person to fall for Quatre. Personally, I see more hints to there being a relationship between Trowa and Quatre than between Quatre and Dorothy. Of course, even that is going out on a limb at times.

Trowa treats Quatre like crap when they meet up in California; a lot of people ignore that in favor of trying to apply homosexual subtext to their little jam session.
On the other hand, Dorothy was in complete opposition to the entire Gundam Team when she fought Quatre; she didn't stab him out of personal dislike, it didn't seem. Also, she says that she dislikes him because it seems that she used to be that kind of person herself, until she lost her father and became somewhat bitter. Of course, meeting the guys helped change her, as her subsequent appearances in Battlefield of Pacifists and Endless Waltz show.
