Kayne pulled back a little as Jess shifted in his lap. Raising an eyebrow with a bemused smirk on his face at her new position, he allowed her to have full reign of him, returning her hungry kisses. Slowly he slipped his hand back into her hair and pulled her head back gently, again trailing kisses down her neck and reaching up with his free hand to pull the collar of her shirt down her shoulder a bit, continuing the kisses to the newly exposed bare skin.

As he moved his lips from her neck to her collarbone she slid her hands from his hair slowly and lightly down his back, pressing them closer.
Sighing she lifted his shirt, running her hands back up his bare back and tightening her legs around his waist.
Caressing his back she waited to see where he would take his kisses.

Kayne sighed heavily against her bare skin as he felt her fingers find purchase on his back under his shirt. Following her lead, he slid his own hand down out of her hair, down her back and up under her shirt. Her skin was softer than he remembered from the night they had shown each other their tattoos. Slowly he moved his lips from her collarbone to the hollow just under her throat and worked his way down to the edge of her shirt.

Jess shivered a little as his hands ran up her back. As he moved down to the neckline of her shirt she remembered that day in the dojo and his tattoos. One in particular.
Pushing him back a little and releasing her grip she moved off him, cupping his face and giving him a gentle kiss before easing him back as she had on the beach that night.
Smirking at him she slid her hands down his muscular chest and to the edge of his t-shirt.
God, whatever working out he did paid off.
In her next move she slid the shirt up, her calloused hands running over his smooth skin until his tattoo was exposed. Starting at the tail she began to work her way down the design, kissing his skin softly.

Kayne was a little disappointed when she pulled away and gave her a bit of a frown. But then she kissed him and pushed him gently to lie him on his back. Highly interested in her next move he watched her slide her hands down his chest. As his shirt was slid slowly up he moaned softly at the feel of her hands on his skin. When her lips began following the trail of his tattoo he closed his eyes and took a deep shuddering breath and slipped his hands into her silky hair. It wasn't until her lips reached the dragon's head down by the waist of his jeans that his eyes flew open. The realization of what it was they were doing suddenly came crashing down around him, not that he wasn't enjoying it. He just wasn't sure of himself anymore.
"Jess..." he said, dropping his hands from her head and sat up slightly on his arms to look down at her.

At the tone behind her name she looked up. Her eyes meeting his and seeing worry there for the first time.
"Are you okay?" She asked, rearranging her skirt and kneeling up. "I didn't hurt you did I?" She said looking at the bruises that were still prominant on his stomach and ribs.

Kayne's heart was racing and he swallowed hard at her question. He didn't want to look like a complete fool, not after they had gotten this far, but he didn't want her to feel bad for hurting either. Swallowing his pride, Kayne looked down at the blanket for a moment.
"No," he said, shaking his head a bit. "You didn't hurt me." He could feel a blush starting to creep up his cheeks. He had never felt so stupid, especially not in front of a woman.

Jess looked at him non plussed for a moment. If she hadn't hurt him then what was the problem? Looking up into his eyes she noticed the panic and the blush begining to creep over his pale skin. Finally putting two and two together she pulled his shirt back down and lay on the blanket next to him.
"Sorry." She said softly cuddling up next to him. "I get a bit carried away. I didn't mean to move so fast." It was her turn to flush, for once in her life ashamed of her forward nature.

Kayne wrapped his arm around her and kissed the top of her head.
"Don't apologize to me, unless I deserve it," he grinned, reaching over to caress her cheek lightly. "And it wasn't so much you were moving fast... I just... have never..." he trailed off, staring off at the trees for a moment. "Well... I've never actually had a girlfriend." There. It was out. Sighing heavily, he tightened his arm around her to keep her from pulling away.

Jess rested her head against his chest and blinked at his revelation. Someone as confident and slef assured as Kayne had never had a girlfriend. Jess was more than a little suprised. He was the typical badboy with a heart. The kind of guy who usually had them lining up around the block.
She took a breath and slid her arm over his chest.
"That's nothing to worry about." She said softly a bit worried by the G word. Was she implying she was his girlfriend. That thought alone was more than a little intimidating. She tried to think of ways to make him feel a bit better.
"I've never had a non asian boyfriend." She said, wincing slightly. "Not sure that counts though." She was going to say she had only had two proper boyfriends and several very short flings but didn't want to some across as loose.
She sighed heavily. "We shouldn't be doing this." She said gently. "God I'm so stupid. Did I really think that this would solve anything. As soon as I get back into that school I'm back to square one and now it's going to hurt twice as much."

s**t, Kayne thought, closing his eyes for a moment. Quickly, he turned, putting her on her back and leaning over her so he could look down into her eyes. He reached up and brushed some of her hair behind her ear, shifting his leg to rest lightly on hers.
"Shut up Jess," he said with a small smile and placing a thumb over her lips. "I never said I was worried about it. All I'm saying is... that growing up I never had time for other girls really, and most of the ones that pursued me were not at all worth my time. All they ever wanted was to play games and use me. I just didn't have time for all of that bullshit," he explained, caressing her lip with his thumb.
"And stop freaking out about this Jess. I thought we had come to an understanding," he said, leaning down to lightly kiss the side of her lips, his hand dropping down to rest lightly on her hip.

Jess blinked and looked up at him.
"Oi, don't tell me to shut up." She said giving him a playful slap on the arm. She smirked pulling him closer, shifting a little to get comfortable under his weight.
"I think I'm entitled to freak out. This is ******** up. Really ******** up."
Once again she slipped her hands up under his shirt and across his back feeling the scars that were etched there, raised and soft against her fingers. Again Cirrus' words came to her. He had already been hurt enough, what right did she have to get him into more trouble. "Maybe I should leave." She mused still looking into his deep silver eyes.

Kayne grinned and raised an eyebrow at her words and slipped his hand up from her hip to under her shirt on her side as she shifted underneath him. He closed his eyes at the feel of her hands on his bare skin and nibbled lightly on her ear, but when she spoke again, he pulled away to look down into her eyes with concern.
"What do you mean?" he asked, searching her face for an answer.

"I mean everything." She said teasing his hair between her fingers. Pulling him close for yet another kiss she slid out from under him and stood. "This." She said gesturing to her clothing. "This isn't me. I never wanted to teach." she shrugged her open shirt off angrily.
"It's all about patience and rules. I have no patience and I hate rules. It's a nightmare." She said a bit louder pulling her top off over her head and throwing it on the floor. "And this!" She cried gesturing to her red eyes. "I don't cry. It's pathetic." Unbuttoning her skirt she let it fall to the floor. "
"I live on the edge." She said rolling one of her stockings off and dropping it with the rest of her clothes. "I don't give a flying ******** what people think about me." She pulled the other one off. "Most of all, I like to have fun."
She stood before him in nothing but her black underwear, hands on her hips. She grinned mischievously.
"Coming?" She asked with a wink before walking up to the small jetty on the edge of the lake and jumping in.

Kayne rolled back onto his elbows as she stood before him and watched as she peeled off each layer of clothing, only half able to listen to what she was saying. God she was beautiful, he thought, his eyes roaming freely over her scantily clad body. When she was finished ranting he looked back up to her eyes and returned her grin with his own. He watched her walk off towards the lake and rose to his own feet, kicking off his shoes. He watched her jump in with a splash and quickly pulled his clothes off till he was in nothing but his boxers. This was the Jess he had grown to love, he smiled as he walked up the jetty as well. Slowly he dipped a toe in the water and shivered.
"Oi... that's cold," he said, withdrawing his foot back to the jetty.
