I think people think Azula has the possibility to be demented. If she decided to lick blood off a sword or something I wouldn't bat an eye. Of course, this won't happen b/c it's a kids show... but still, you get the idea. Azula exudes evil. Of course, so did Zuko at first. And my love of him is the only reason I'm not jumping around calling you crazy...
Personally, the first thing to come to my head is "That's impossible b/c Azula is a cold-hearted biotch..." But since I was attracted to Zutara quickly... I gave Sokkla a second thought.
Hmm... I think... Azula would need a lot of development... then again, Zuko has come a long way... but he always had things going wrong for him and suffering builds character. Azula won't grow until she gets banished or something big happens to her... or we find out she has some horrible past in the cushy palace where she was perfect at everything (which is still possible...).
I dunno... she hasn't developed enough as far as I can see. It's obvious she has friends who are more than just minions, but she's also quite controlling and not afraid to use threats... I dunno, until I see her struggle and care about something... I can't make a decision.

Well, I'm willing to bet the Academy was no picnic. Ty Lee ran away from it, and Mai seems to have totally changed from the little girl she used to be.
To be honest, I think Sokkla stands it's best chance of happening AFTER the show is over. When Azula no longer has Ozai whispering poisonous things in her ear, and she has to deal with the world as she knows it being totally turned upside down.

Well, that doesn't necesarily mean the show has to be over once Fire Lord Ozai is gone... I'm sure Commander Xiao will gladly find a way to step up and take his place...
Oh wow, that would be interesting if Xiao was to be the next Firelord if Azula died or failed horribly... obviously Zuko can't step up being an exile and all... or maybe he would be a temp until Azula was old enough and trained enough...
Wait... Xiao is dead isn't he. sweatdrop So much for that then. xp
But are we SURE he's dead? He could come back! Maybe he can hold his breath for a really long time? Ok, I'll stop now. blaugh
But Ozai obviously isn't a complete traditionalist. He doesn't seem to think the firstborn should get the throne no matter what (wait, who's older? Azula or Zuko?), b/c when Iroh fell apart after his son died, Ozai wanted to step up and replace him, which ended up happening. So... I think that if Azula was deemed unfit to rule... there's gotta be a backup. Come on! We're only on Book 2 or 3, right?
Man, having these huge breaks between episodes is really messing w/ my mind... b/c now I'm forgetting all kinds of important stuff!

His name is Zhao, yes he is dead, and for my own sanity Avatar needs to stop after three books because that's how many it was designed to have and messing with the orginal plan would be wrong sick.
And Zuko's older. By a year or two, we're not sure. The creators orginally said she was 15- same as Sokka- but Nick says she's 14.

It was only designed for three books? Oh wow... that's a short-lived show... I guess it's good for it not to go on and on... but it still seems like an awfully short time for a show...

That's 60 episodes, only 2 short of most shows standard showing length. Almost every kids TV show only has 62 episodes. There are a few major exceptions, but they tend to lose money after that.
