If Aeris didn't die...
Cait Sith could be sacrificed instead...it's not like anyone ever uses him. She would become horribly depressed that Cloud ends up with Tifa and become a giant slut.

Ow... You really think Aer would defrade herself like that? That's harsh, real harsh... If they did take out Sephiroth, and Tifa ended up with Cloud, I'm sure Aeris would be able to cope with it. Maybe she'd be a little sad at first, but Tifa's her friend, and so is Cloud, and being the girl she is, I'm sure she would look past her feelings and be happy for them.
Sort of why I like the AeriSeph prospect... If Aeris lived and was able to get Sephiroth back to normal, she would be able to help Tifa to confess to Cloud, and she would be able to stay by Sephiroth's side. Maybe Cloud and Sephiroth would never become "friends," but they would atleast be aquantances and wouldn't kill each other because of their wives.

Yeah, I think Aeris and Cloud... would have gotten together. For some reason I always look at Aeris as the girlfriend of this FF.

Since she summoned Holy in the end of the game, she kinda DID save the world. rolleyes I believe that she needed to be part of the lifestream (that is, dead) for this to occur 3nodding

matt93 I think Aeris would get together with cloud. what do u think? Definitely. He wouldn't even pay attention to that little witch Tifa. I mean, he's known her forever, and they never had a date, but he only knows Aeris for a couple of days and they go out on a date. He even kisses her hand (if you play it right)

You cannot expect a man to be able to choose between that... Technically, it wasn't even him who choose. It was the person that was controlling him who choose... The guy is caught in a bond, man. If Aeris had lived, that would have been hell for him, man. There's Tifa, the friend he was with as a child, and was the person that really helped him out when he was in a bind, and in turn he helped her. Then there's Aeris, the kind and loving flower girl... There is no easy way to choose... That's another reason I like the AeriSeph idea. If Aeris had lived, and was able to make Sephiroth sane again, than she would be able to get Tifa to finally confess to Cloudo-kun... Then, they are all happy. Tifa's a great person, as is Aeris, and both of them really deserve to be happy. Aeris, with the general Sephiroth, and Tifa, with her childhood friend Cloud. Is all good, all good...

So what do you think wouldve happened between the two when Cloud went back to being Cloud? Aeris liked him purely because he was a replica of her ex-boyfriend, Zack.
