I've come back in here to say that in all my games now... none of them are hard. I have 3 charcters with maxxed stats in FF8 so Omega really doesn't do more than 800-900 damage on his hardest hits. It's really pretty sad. The same can be said about Ozma and my game in FF9. And since I have finished the friendly monster quest I have the black yan there helping me out and making it so I don't need to equip the long range skill to hit him at all. They both still take a long time but at least with Omega I can just search through Selphie's limit break to find "The End" and kill him instantly if I get sick of fighting him. Oh and I've gotten my time on Emerald weapon down to 1:57. I'd say that's pretty damn good to be laying down a million HP in just under 2 minutes, and in that try... emerald didn't even get 1 attack. It was all just Cloud miming Omnislash while hasted with 255 of all his stats, making him incredibly fast even without haste.

nemesis67 i would say my toughest boss was and still is Ozma from FF9....that b*****d wont go down gonk scream I didn't have that much of a problem. Equip stuff that absorbs 100% of shadow damage and just keep Vivi casting Doomsday. For me it fully healed my entire party while hurting Ozma for about 4k damage.

i thought that ozma was tough but i think that angra mainyu was super hard i just couldnt get him gud and i dont even want to talk bout trema

Out of the ones on the list... I'd say FFVII Omega weapon...
The lamest was possible FFX's Omega. xd But, I was severly over-leveled, so.... rofl

The hardest optional bosses that I ever got around to fighting were hunting down the 7 dragons in ff6 trying to get one of the summons.
I never really bothered with the weapons aside from ..omega in 7. By the time i got around to the point where i could bet them, i was bored with the game and jes decided to go ahead and beat it.

dont remember why but for some reason me and my brothers had quite a bit of trouble with the seymours (FFX)

I would say penance in ffx. Without the proper preparation he will lick your a** in seconds. AND even when you are strong enough to beat him he takes 45 mins to put away.. the others pale in comparisin...

ff9 that darn ball just would not die no matter how many times i hit him with 9999 he would just giggle and mess with me more. as far as the other bosses they are easy if you just level up. preparation is key in ff but not for that ball of pissing me off lol or maybe i just didnt find out what combo to use b4 i beat him idk

By the time i got around to the point where i could bet them, i was bored with the game and jes decided to go ahead and beat it. actually, there were 8 dragons in FF6, one for each of the elements, and you had to beat them to get Crusader, and unlock the Dragon's Den on the Advance version... as far as the bosses listed, i'll always say Omega Weapon from FF8... that Terra Break of his always seemed to take me out, since i never had any Holy Wars... i always had to rely on the luck of Rinoa's Limit Break to get Invincible Moon. and i've heard rumors to the effect that the Kaiser Dragon on FF6A is a royal pain, but i haven't gotten to him, yet...

Final Fantasy 9 Lich. It kept doing holy attacks on my party. They were all dead in one hit.

FF X-2 Trema
Without the Cathood. Trema made me cry like a sissy girl. The first time I fought him I left my controller alone and called my brother over. Yelling my brother to look at the old man fight. I forgot at the moment the battle was in real time and when I looked back. Yuna, Riku and Paine, where dead. That one man moves like a freakin' bullet. I haven't fond another way to beat him other than using the cat hood. I love the cat hood ^-^ when your life was in yellow and you used trigger happy it cost 9999 damage each hit *drool*
