lordstar
im trying to demonstate somthing called connected knowing
give it a try

A-hem.

Me
you're trying to sound 'wise and distant', but failing miserably and just sounding like you're trying to cover up for the fact that you don't know what you're talking about.

Why say something again when someone much wiser has said it better already?

I have. You have made vague and useless statements about 'going deeper' and 'connected knowing'. Both of which are simply evasive terms used to not actually answer a question, but not sound like an idiot at the same time. Want to prove something to me? Prove it, don't tell me to go off on some never-ending quest to save my girlfriend find the knowledge that you have claimed to have found.

there was never any "prove it" action commited by myself at any time because that wasn't my point. it was a "suppose it". you've fumbled my words so badly that your even putting words in my mouth. i never claimed to have found anything but the knowlage of knowing that i don't know.

thus i proposed to you a what if
but nonetheless
you may yet be able to save your girlfriend

ok lets try again

x+y=7

given x=6
given y=1

do i need to prove x and y
no
its a given regardless of truth
why is it given
because im trying to express unknown(s)
so when i say somthing along the lines of supose or perhaps it is this sort of modle im looking at
do i know what x and y are...not really...would be nice though

Porn is kind of like a poison for your mind. People (mostly guys) who become addicted to porn are addicted to a brain-induced/created drug that does change you. A lot.

It's like how some people say "you are what you eat." Your mind is in likeness to what you put into it.

Guys, this isn't a place to argue about who is better at saying something or not. This is a subject to give advice to someone who is not knowing. Take it to the Debate sub-forum. I really don't like hostility online. It means nothing. 3nodding
As for pornography... Well... I have a small problem with it, much like many people in here. 3nodding sweatdrop I have avoided it for about a month now and am going to try to keep it up. biggrin
Pornography is getting very strange and violent lately. It has always been wrong, but it is getting really bad. neutral sweatdrop
the thing is, my father and mother know about this problem, so I am trying to stop just as much for them as for me and God. 3nodding

So, we know that it is bad. So, why do we do it? We do it because it is convenient pleasure. Convenience can be a deadly incubator for sin.
Keep that in mind. wink

Ah. Hadn't yet discovered how to delete your internet history?

Masturbation.

It's not a sin to say the word, y'know.

If you would like a secular view of why some people think pornography is bad it is that it heavily contributes to the objectification of women. In most pornography the women are treated as basically human blow-up dolls without emotions or feelings.

Because, you know, the men in porn are practicly sophocles.

Let's face it, porn is degrading for everyone involved.
