Crono Leonhart Apeiron King of Light Crono Leonhart Apeiron King of Light Crono Leonhart They should make equip cards that attach to divine beasts exclusively. That way, new cards wouldn't need to be printed, and It would be more challenging to get their effects to activate 3nodding ummm...well techincally the idea was already thought up in a way... the card says it can only be equipped to that of a god and it can't be destroyed by the god's effect. It was called like Evolution of the God or something... it's just basically a +1000. But then again, that could be good when going up against another god wink Haha damn, they stole my idea crying But what my idea was, was to keep the cards blank, and have their killer effects all on equip cards. Like if you want Slifer's card boost, you'd need his equip card that allows it to be used. Or if you want his second jaw thing, that would be printed on another card. That way, they'd be far from invincible, and take time to get them up to speed 3nodding oh I see, so basically cards that activate the monsters effect... oh and OMG I noticed one crazy thing (thanks for reminding me about his second mouth)... okay: -Have you ever noticed how one of slifers mouths is smiling and the other is frowning? (symbolism for good and evil?) -Have you ever noticed how Ra is a flying beast made of some type of rock/metal? (symbolism for heaven and earth?) -Have you ever noticed how Obelisk card is that in both a light and dark area...ya I couldn't come up much for this one but... (symbolsm for light and dark?) I saw this on another place but did anyone ever know how the god cards are supposed to be the balance of the universe? That's sure some indepth thinking. Very possibly though; Well I agree with you on that anyway 3nodding So anyways, I was looking through a card list for SOI, and there were versions of the God cards. Why'd they do that o-o ? I agree with that also. In ancient egypt, they were the sympolism between this world and the afterlife. Osiris (Slifer) and Ra were the names of two actual egyptian gods. Ra was the sun god of ancient egypt and was the most important of all the gods and goddesses. Osiris was the god of the dead and ruler of the underworld. Osiris was also the god of resurrection and fertility. He also married his sister and had a son (Horus). The reason , I believe, that the card Ra had the effect to be resurrected was because in egypt mythology, at night, Ra was swallowed up by the Sky Goddess Nut. And that he travels to the underworld at night with a head of a ram. I don't know much about Obelisk.

Hey what's the whole arguement of the cards being legalized a problem anyway? If they get made then it only makes people want to make more intrigued deck styles.

If they legalized them everyone would be using it and i honestly think that if they were going to they should only release 1 true copy of each. cause if you look ack at the actual story there are only one true copie of each card and everyone shouldnt have one.

(Like Cyberstein(Except not anymore...))? heh, speaking of cyberstein...that is the one promo that got the short stick... basically, all prize cards from tournaments won't be reprinted. So don't expect a Des Vostgalph or Shrink. However, you could say they made cards that are a bit closer to the power of a god...but not a legal verison. Since, if you get in the top 8 of Worlds, you get a very rare card that is only printed to the top 8 of that tournament...and it's basically a three tribute monster that can win you a MATCH if it deals the final damage in that duel. That was originally a copy off a banned card in OCG, Victory Dragon. It was a legal verison that was basically amazingly powerful enough to get banned.

a very odd thing that was pointed out in the GX manga for me...but did you ever notice how Duel Academy is surrounded by a various amounts of OBELISKS!? as well as the fact that Obelisk blue is the highest ranking? could this very well be a way to show that it is Seto's doing??
ya...just the talk about the actual Obelisks got me to realize that.
Oh and ya, Osiris is also known as Slifer...curious as to the name change. Only guess is because of a few copy right laws I guess...

this game would be alot more interesting if they didnt have so many copies of every card thats out so that everyone would have their own style and strategies. but with the egyptain gods would be better off legalized like others have said about having only 1 of each egyptian god but they should also have the efect on the card so that the user doesnt miss use the card.

I dont think legalization of the god cards wont be so bad ,in one yugioh tcg game for ds they had you play against Marik and yugi with there god cards (you get one yourself kaiba is left out xp ) But it isnt as hard as it seem to destroy one ,in the effect (written in the game) it states that magic and traps dont effect it when they are specificly targeted such as shadow spell but can be destroyed by effects that say destroy the highest attack lowest defense such as Fissure mrgreen Oh yeah and slifers effect is when the defense of a summoned monster is 2000def or lower the monster is destroyed not as intense as a - atk power that would tank. sweatdrop I believe they toned down all the effects a bit ..except Rahs lifepoint attack thing...
