Suddenly, the Rose turned to face backwards as it slid by, aiming it's weapons towards the Longswords. The reactors powering the guns fired, and two rounds of heavy metal blasted forwards, trailing a faint blue double helix tracer. They detinated shortly before the path of the longswords, showing them with EMP and shrapnel.
A large cluster of this ships veared off upon seeing these strange rounds blasting towards them, leaving behind a smaller group was only paying attention to the Longswords around them, and now flew directly into a wave of shrapnel, which really was no threat to them, but the EMP waves tha came with the blast severly damaged their electronics, causing several of these ships to become inactive and to drift through space now. The majority of the surviving Longswords decided to spread out and attack it from as many different directions as possible. All of those that attacked launched salvos of ASGM-10 missles at the vessel, before darting away to dodge any AA fire.
The Captain sighed as the COM channel was suddenly filled with pilots requesting assistance, with most of them simply confused about why their fighters had simply stopped working. He wasn't truly concerned though, as the rest choose random attack vectors, so the same trick wouldn't work twice. He also noted that the Ingraham was now following the ship from a different direction, deciding that following it from directly behind it was now a bad idea.

With one squadren gone, the Rose swivvled around and boosted away, accelerating suddenly, some of the shrapnel from the blast being diverted away from the balistic tragectories.
With the ship now heading forwards again, and the missiles tracking her, she blasted straight up, rising vertically while still facing forwards. Such manuvers could only be done in space, and thats exactly what the pilot/captain was doing.
With the missiles now following her new path, she roated again, to where she was pointing down-relative to the Titan. She boosted away again, her Point Defences working over time to nail the missiles before they hit her.
Once the weapons were charged again, he swivvled the starboard side plasma cannon and fired a long streamer against the targeting sensors of the Titan, the low level blast scorching in the least and melting them at the best.

The Captain decided to be as paranoid as possible with this ship, having thought it was a larger ship the first time they detected it, he immediately thought of the largest ship they had managed to see at Reach. He remembered the reports stating that the weapons it used were faster than they could even track, and thought this was the same thing. Luckily, the plasma weapon this ship used was much slower, which allowed him to blast the emergency aft thrusters, causing the large ship to jerk away in time for the plasma to lance out and further into space. He grimaced slightly at the monitor now as he barked new orders. "Tell the remaining squadrons of C709's to do bombing runs on that things shields. I don't care if they have to do suicide attacks with nucler-tipped missiles. I want that ship to be scrapped before it's weapons can recharge." As he was saying this, the Ingraham's MAC gun fired a salvo of hot metal shells at the enemy ship from behind, before breaking off and heading back for the Titan.

True, the Valkyrie Rose was fast and manuverable. Also true, that the Mac cannons shot metal almost as fast. The Rose rose upwards in relivation to it's movements, climbing as fast as possible with the tech it was given. The rounds of tungstin blasted past the hull, the heat making the shields light up with the heat, a silvery coating brushing over the hull.
The Rose rolled and dove so that she was on the underside of the Titan, and manuvered again so that her prongs were scant meters from the hull. Three shots, two from the Mac guns, and one from the plasma gun. This plasma was far stronger then the low level blast the Titan had evaded before, so it moved faster.
Two trails of nuclear blue double helix' plus one plasma burst slammed from the Rose, forcing the small ship backwards along it's glide path, before it leveled out.

The Captain slammed his fist down in response to seeing their target directly below the Titan, and managed to activate the portside emergency thrusters in time to let the small MAC rounds graze the hull and rocket off into space, while the plasma dug into the hull and melted away several layers of armor, exposing a portion of this ships skeletal structure. He immediately clicked a few controls in order to turn off the alarms that were now blaring, thinking of it as a simple distraction as he examined the damage reports for a moment. "Arm the Shiva nuclear-tipped missiles. I want one in the launch tube and another in our remote-piloted Longsword. Pull back our own Longswords in order to give us some cover." He typed in several other commands, before sending another encrypted message to his two Frigates, ordering them to fire all of their archer missiles when the timer he had sent them reached zero. He plotted for several of their Archer missiles to launch along with theirs, as well as their nucler missile to launch at the same time, hoping that it will either hit or be gunned down by the ship's close-range defenses, which would also explain why he had pulled back his Longsword fighters.

"Captain..."
"I see it."
"Just wondering."
The banter inside the bridge of the Rose was almost hearable outside the ship as the tension inside was palpable. Taking an assumption, the Rose reacted to the ship's manvering, and swung around to the bow of the Titan, just below the Mac gun's barrol.
With a sudden recharge, all four weapons glowed, the front creating sparks as the electrical suddenly flowed with energy, and the side guns glowing red.
The green screen over the Bridge slid aside, revealing the inner workings. The Captain encased in a consol in the center, with three other consols on the side for the defenses.
"Bring Hailing online."

Almost every Longsword in operation was now swarming towards the enemy ship, hoping to push it away from the CBG as the UNSC ships moved away from it at top speed. They forced their reactors into the red, before firing their emergency thrusters, turned on their sides, and, in unison, fired large clusters of Archer Missiles at the enemy ship, before turning and heading even farther off away from it. The Longswords, in turn, veared away from doing their bombing runs in order to attempt to escape the blast as a wall of explosives and one nucler device jetted towards the ship.

"Hell."
The Rose fired one small missile out from between it's prongs and it streaked away towards the muclear missile. If the sound of the missile could be heard, it would sound like several small bells tinkling and a flute playing at once. As it was, no sound was heard as it streaked forwards, intersepting the Sheva warhead.
No explosion was heard, though a singularity flashed breifly crushing the missile into not but an atom. The resulting well caused most of the missiles to crash into each other and destroy themselves before ever reaching their target.
"Hail them. Now."
A channel was formed so that the Captain of the Rose could speak to the Captain of the Titan on all frequencies.
"This is Captain Rasa James Maldalay. Formerly of the UNSC. I demand to know why you have fired upon my ship damnit!"

He had already sent an order to his Frigates to fire their MAC cannons on the ship when they recharged when he heard a voice eminating through every frequency his ship had. He gazed at his monitory blankly for a moment as he noted the origin, before shrugging it off and ordering a tech to arm the rest of their Archer Missiles and target the ship with their recharged MAC gun as well. He managed to yawn quietly to himself, before he opened up one of the channels their enemy was using and speaking softly and calmly in response to the enemy's ranting.
"This is Captain Vincent Millay of the UNSC Carrier Titan. I fired upon your ship because you are not my ally. You are, in turn my enemy..." As he spoke he made a hand gesture to one of his Lieutenants to send a fire order towards the other two Frigates, which was immediately recognized as the two ships spat large metalic rounds at their target, while the Titan held it's fire for later.

"When will they learn?"
Since the Rose had joined in this fight, she had only been hit maybe once or twice. Her ammunition for her mac guns were only so much, and they were about half down in the magazines. Still, as Rasa ceated a well above him, and the Rose rose stright upwards, she fired the four main guns, leaving the missile launcher for later. If there was a later.
Since she was small, and the ships fired rounds the same size as the Rose, she could easily avoid them. But, while the rounds went past, the Rose twisted and tumbled as if nicked by one of the rounds. But she still rose straight upwards realtive to the Titan.

He watched as the ship rose upward in a line relative to his ship, and grinned faintly as it simplified the calculations required to use the MAC guns, and he barely managed to utter the word "Fire", before the entire ship recoiled, sending two large rounds toward the ship as it moved upwards. He typed in a few more commands as the rounds sped towards his enemy, not really caring if his plan succeeded or failed as he called back their remaining Longsword fighters to their respected launch bays, before he got up, grabbed a portable COM transmitter, and headed out of the bridge with it attached firmly to his left ear, knowing there were two Pelicans with Marines waiting for him.

With a couple of micro bursts, the Rose leveled itself out just in time to have a furrow taken out of it's back end, a very near miss from one mac shell. The other missed completly, though barely. The Plasma weapons flickered briefly then went off line. The Mac guns attached to the front of the ship cycled once, a new round in the chamber before it too seased moving. As the ship slowed, running lights all over the hull popped on, revealing, in some detail the markinds on the hull. On one was the marking of the ship itself. A single shield with a sword resting behind it vertically and a pair of black wings arcing around it. At the tip of the broad sword, a pair of roses were painted. On the other side of the ship was the Jolly Rodger. But on the top, however, was a simble not readily seen anymore. It was a flag, red blue and white. One corner was blue with a number of stars, while the red and white stripes dominated the rest. <= Symble of the Valkyrie Rose.

He made his way to an elevator that led down to the portside shuttle bay. Which opened up into something that could only be described as a massive cavern of steel. He exited the elevator, noting the silence over their corrupted COM system as he climbed into a Pelican with it's engines activated and ready to lift off, which it quickly did, along with another right behind it. They both drifted towards the main doors, which slowly opened after several warning sirens blared and everyone who wasn't in a space suit was evacuated from the launch bay. The doors slowly slid apart to reveal a large void of darkness, which the two Pelicans quickly darted into before the metal doors closed once more and compressed the area within. The two ships sped off towards their target ship, thinking the human Captain knew enough about what was going on to not gun down the Pelicans. That, or he'd simply have to explain it to him over their COM system.

The Captain of the Rose did know what was going on, so he had the canopy close once more, sealing the bridge off from the outside.
"These people know not what this ship was made for. When they are in range, let them know."
"Rodger."
As the Pelicans came closer, Rasa had them targeted with is cross hairs, though did not fire. He had assumed they would come to a flanking position, then he would be trapped. Or so they would think.
