dairus gave the kid a look of don't-piss-me-off when he pushed kidd to the side."no besides your not worth my time" dairus said "lets go Kidd let this guy be an a**." darius and kidd left but dairus made sure he was prepared if the kid decided to hit him

"and why shoud we, are you to lazy to come here" dairus said taunting him. he know he could take this guy beside he wanted to join the fun.

Thinking about it Zion had put some jeans and a halter top on and some sandals and decided to go for a walk. When she got to a certian point in her walk she saw Darius and another female being hassled by a jock looking kid.

She walked right up to them and looked at the strange, angry boy then at Darius. "What's up? Starting trouble or trying to avoid it?" She grinned. The angry youth though had other plans. "Hey! Get away from the muty." Again she looked at Darius. "Is he serious?" She laughed and pushed the angry kid away. "That word is very very disrespectful y'know.."

She grinned and shook her head as the jock kept spouting out hateful slurs. "Pardon me a moment." She said to Darius then looked at the jock. With a flick of her wrist towards him she sent a ball of fire that exploded right at his feet, the boy ran.

"You two alright?"

"Classes, pfft." She grinned and patted him on the head. "Alright, I gotta finish my walk anyhow. See ya later darling." She waved to the two and walked off.

Now that he was back in class, Morgan's mind returned to a near catatonic state. Of course, school has a tendency to do that to most teenagers. He was jarred awake by the voice of the teacher. "Mr. Onasi. Mr. Onasi!"

"Eh? Sorry sir, I kind of spaced for a minute there," Morgan apologized.

"Well, make sure it doesn't happen again. Now, where was I?"

"Yes sir," Morgan mumbled, as he stared ahead at the board, trying to make sense of the teacher's handwriting. It wasn't so much that he didn't understand the material. It was more that he couldn't understand the chicken scratches that the teacher considered writing.

By the end of the school day, Morgan felt like his brain was ready to start leaking out of his ears. Such was the fate of most high school students. And then he remembered the fight with Duncan. The thought of putting the big ape in his place revitalised Morgan, as he walked towards the appointed meeting place.


"So, whitey showed! I thought you'd be too chicken to show up. I hope you're ready to have your face rearranged!" Duncan said, cocky as always.

"Duncan, why don't you just fall down now, and save us both the trouble?" Morgan replied, not rattled in the least by Duncan's comments. "No? Then let's just get this over with. I'd like to get going as soon as possible," Morgan said, assuming a fighting stance.

"Shut up, you little punk!" Duncan yelled as he charged at Morgan. Stupid mistake number one. Morgan simply sidestepped, and knocked Duncan to the ground. The crowd of people who had gathered around to watch the fight simply laughed at Duncan's misfortune.

Duncan got to his feet, and swung a large fist at Morgan, who simply parried and once again shoved Duncan to the ground. "Duncan, if you don't stop, I might end up seriously hurting you," Morgan warned.

"You're the one who's going to get hurt! Take that!1" Duncan cried out, leaping towards Morgan. Morgan simply grabbed hold of Duncan's arms, and rolled backwards, tossing the jock a good three feet onto his back. Morgan leapt to his feet from his prone position, and dusted himself off. He began walking away, when Duncan charged at him from behind, trying to exploit what he saw as an opening. Of course, Duncan had all the subtlety of a charging bull.

Morgan whirled around, and with a few quick motions, had slammed his palm into Duncan's chest multiple times, and flipped him over his shoulder. The jock now lay on the ground, writing in pain.

The crowd went silent. Here was Duncan Matthews, the star of the football team, and one of the biggest guys in the school, taken down by a guy a head shorter than him. Morgan just shook his head. "I warned you, didn't I? Not even a challenge," he said, straightening his clothing and walking away, leaving the once proud Duncan lying on the pavement, whimpering pathetically.

"Oh, and you two? Don't even think about it," Morgan said, pausing as he walked. Duncan's lackeys, who had decided to try an sneak up on Morgan, froze in their tracks. They backed away, and decided that their efforts would be better spent helping Duncan to the nurse.

Raze had already gone back to the mansion, mainly because class finished early for him that day. Which was perfect, because he was able to schedule a training session in the Danger Room on that day. He was willing to do whatever it took to get his powers under control, so that one day he could actually remove his gloves without fear of setting anything or anyone on fire.

"Simulation commencing. Begin," came the digital voice of the Danger Room computer. Several large walls put themselves up in Raze's path. His objective was to burn holes in some of them, and input a specific password for others. Not terribly hard, but Raze had to do this without the use of his gloves, and the flames from his hands would melt the keypads.

"Okay, I can do this," he muttered to himself. Placing his hand against the first door, his palm flared up, and began melting a hole through it. He used both his hands, and carved a doorway for himself. The next room, however, was one of the keypad rooms.

Raze took a deep breath, and focused on his hands, and on putting out the flames. Slowly, the fire obeyed. He quickly entered the password, and progressed to the next room. When he tried to flare up again, something felt wrong. His hand did burst into flames, but it was much more intense than normal.

"What the- Huh? AAAAAAAAHH!!"

Raze dropped to the ground, screaming in pain, as two large, fiery wings forced themselves out of his back, tearing holes in his uniform as they did so. "Wha-What's happening?!" he mumbled, before fainting from the pain.

"Mr Mihrosa. Mr. Mihrosa, wake up. You're in the infirmary."

"Huh? What... happened?" Raze mumbled, his eyes blinking open, and staring straight at the furry face of Dr. McCoy, who was standing over Raze's bed.

"Actually, we were hoping you could tell us. When Logan brought you in, you were unconcious, and lying in the middle of a rather scorched Danger Room," Beast explained.

"I don't... I don't know. The last thing I remember is going through the simulation, and something feeling wrong when I tried to use my powers. After that, it gets blurry," Raze replied.

"Well, we'll keep you here for a little while longer, just to run a few tests. Is that okay?" McCoy asked.

"Yeah, that's fine. Whatever you need, Doc." The Danger Room was wrecked? What the hell had happened? he thought, as he lay back on the bed.
