Off-topic joke time: Sometimes I feel gulty I like some women that are thin, when there are so many large women out there needing love...
But then I remember I'm not that thin myself... lol

Archica I'm kinda new here, so I apologize if a thread similar to this has been done before. Is it okay for an overweight girl to be attracted to skinny guys? I'm fairly heavy, and for some reason I've always had a thing for skinny guys. Of course, I've liked big guys too (two of the guys I was crazy about in high school were big), but in general, my eyes get drawn to the smaller ones. Is this wrong? I've always felt kinda guilty about it, but should I? Should I not allow myself to be attracted to them? Should I limit myself to big guys, because I'm big? The reason I'm asking is because not too long ago, someone really jumped down my throat for it. On livejournal, some of my friends were jokingly posting a "perfect guy" list. So I made one myself, and one of the traits I listed was "kinda skinny". A guy on my friendslist that I had talked to a lot, and confided in about my size (assuming he was really my friend), posted a comment saying "If you want a skinny guy, go on a diet. You're crazy if you think you can have a skinny guy and be fat." I was really hurt by this, but it also made me think that maybe he was right, and that I had unrealistic tastes. What do you guys think? After three pages, I'm sure this has been said before, but I'm a skinny guy who likes big girls. It seems perfectly fine if you're a big girl who likes skinny guys. Feeling guilty about something you can't help is horribly destructive.

When you are constantly being told that you shouldn't do something because of how you look physically, after awhile you start to believe them. It takes a strong person to be able to say "To hell with what you say, I'm going to like whoever the hell I want to, regardless of how I look!", plus there are many people who don't have a strong support group of friends to remind them to be true to themselves, so for them to dismiss what their peers say may be harder for you and I. I like skinny guys.
No offense to anyone else, but I think Kinsai and Fuzzy are the cutest guys in this guild. Of all the guys I've seen anyway. I shall always have a special place in my heart for my Kinsai-chan and Fuzzy. heart And they're both pretty skinny.
The current guy I'm diggin' is skinny, too. You can almost see his ribs. I'm concerned for him sometimes, and offer him things to eat. I really don't want to change a thing about him. whee

Well I hope it's OK for a fat girl to like a skinny guy cause I'm pretty thin myself! Seriously though the @$$ who said otherwise obviously hasn't seen too many fat chicks cause I guarantee if you look at the men they are with you'd be surprised to see how many skinny guys that are with them. Well I guess it's true that opposites attract. Anyways, skinny guys and fat girls are far more likely to be compatible, I mean a guy with a big beer gut and a fat girl with a large belly may have a hard time um,......connecting in the bedroom if ya know what I mean.

I think it is cool that you like smaller men, I like smaller men too, but my current crushes are both taller than me and have muscles.....so technically they are not small, but they are not fat either.. sweatdrop
