Well, the current state of the rules on the website shows that the majority opinion is that you lose the Game when you are informed of its loss by another player, and that the grace period is just to prevent immediate repetitive loss. And as we all know, any question of morality, ethics, or opinion can be unequivocally decided by a vote.

The twenty minute reset rule is in place because I lost the game.

Logically following the rules, any person who learns about the Game has already lost. Therefore, I must announce my first loss.

And I just skillfully avoided such a loss. *grin* I am so tempted to create a program for keeping score of the game. Everytime you lose the game, you open the site and it records that you've lost. It then subtracts one point from your score. If there are 50 players, they each gain 1 49th of a point. Such that you loose one point and everyone else gains an nth of the point that you lost. Some people are probably good enough at this to have their score in an image in their sigs. Make people lose the game, click on your sig image and register that you made them lose the game.

By virtue of the fact that you, some thirty minutes later, replied to a post made within the offset period, you must have lost the game by reading the post.
