Kamui Tigerbreed natawa Samael? I wonder why regulars are quitting. Perhaps they found some sort of greatness in the real world? Or they're dead? XD Yeah, I know, I'm going to Hell for that. I guess sometimes people who are on Gaia a lot get tired of it all after a while. It's kind of understandable.

And I'm peeved. AND I MISS WENDY! Also, I was wondering why the ban was kept even after the user recieving the abuse told the moderator about the circumstances? That shouldn't be right.

^^I suggest that we - the entire guild or just a select few, either way works - save that post in Notepad, or some other computer text document. We will use it as a referance(making damn sure Miyuki's name is brought up every time) when we report every "You suck," "I'm God," "I hate []," and any other thread that could be concidered trolling in any way, shape or form, to a Moderator. We will demand an immediate banning - the idea of no warnings comes from the fact that DJ didn't get any - of the user who posted the thread, along with anyone posting in the thread in agreement with the original poster for trolling. Any and all failures to do so goes on the record - complete with the name of the Mod and a list of the original post in the thread and all responses that were reported with it - and once the list of Mods who failed to do their duty gets long enough, post it in the Q&F and - because said thread will inevitably be deleted, but at least it will have gotten some attention - e-mailed directly to Lanzer, L0cke, or another Administrator.^^ I don't know why anyone in this (old gonk ) thread never responded to this, I think this is a fantastic idea.

Illiana_Galean My main question would be, since when was watching Richard Simmons videos considered a form of spousal abuse? The mods need a good cleaning out. Just yesterday I lost my signature because it was six pixles to big. Now looking around I see larger and more blatant "violations". My guess would be someone has their panties in a knot and wants to take their aggrivation out on anyone they deem "lower"... Signature limits is something I'm very passionate about. I belive in being really stict with them. It's like a character limit. One character over and KABLAMO! You have to do it all over again! scream Anyway, I agree with you. Richard Simmons is hardly spousal abuse. At all. Richard Simmons makes people happy. And other people afraid. Very, very, very afraid. Well, I suppose if you were to beat her pregnant belly with the tape until she cried, it would be another way. Silly mods need a vacation.

Even though I personally do believe in being strict about signature size, I do believe that this tempban is just...pointless. There is such stupidity going around; people complaining about not being able to post Chatterbox threads on other forums and such (Yes this has happened. neutral The worst thing is; there were others that agreed with her and asked what was wrong with posting a bar on, say, the GD or a bumping thread on the Exchange.... *sigh* ) and yet a proper Gaian gets tempbanned for a freaking JOKE. How can all the rape threads and other pointless stuff get ignored and he gets banned for a joke? Goodness.
I really do wonder how they choose mods. neutral I know one and she's a sweet girl but frankly I haven't seen not once a good story about mods. Not one friend has said "Phew glad the mod banned that fool." or anything of the kind and yet I hear complaints all the time. You might say "Because people don't feel the need to mention when they do their job right." but I'm talking about my close circle of friends - I'd know if they'd seen a mod do their job. For example my friend got real upset when a GD mod had been banned - she apparently had been doing her job well enough. Then I heard not-so-nice things about her too but that's off-point.
Oh hell I don't know I just would like to see mods who can work well under pressure. I say this because whenever this comes up people say "Oh they have such a hard job we should appreciate what we get." Is it hard being a mod? Yes. I am a mod at another forum and yes it's hard. But the thing is so many things in life are hard; if you're not made for a job and will use it being hard as an excuse just don't do it then.
*sigh* Gaia is getting minigames too and now banning accounts like this? Neopets all over again - and no I have never joined Neopets but only because I couldn't bother with an animal that needed feeding all the time - yet I've heard such horror stories that I'd HATE to see those happen to Gaia. sad

There are mods that have been going insane lately. Lolli has gone off her rocker in the music forum. She's become abusive with her power as a mod. She deletes official threads if she doesn't know the certain band. When I report threads that are in the wrong place she PMs me telling me that she's going to keep it there for whatever reason. Her real reason is she doesn't want to just click and move a thread. I'm a regular member of Gaia. I have been for a very long time. I have reported so many threads over the year and sometimes these mods just won't respond. They really need to look at the Mods they have right now and check in to see how they are acting.
