you know what's i'd love to hear?

Adam Pascal sing Right Brain and // or Open Road.

and I loooooove LVB in this one... "hello, i'm a dyke!"

nobody should sing 'right brain', ever again. no exceptions, lol.

i LOVE how mark's so much more obviously still obsessed with maureen in the nytw version. like in the middle of 'out tonight'....maureen: 'well thanks for the...mark stop crying! no this is not a phase i'm going through!'

Yeah

I want to hear Adam do the NYTW version

And see if it was just doomed from teh start

Or if it was because of the suckified Roger

I like this:

"She gouged her eyes out! 'Did you sleep with your mother and murder your father?'"

lol@Oedipus Rex references

And that whole "I blinded myself cause I wanted to see" thing

We just read Oedipus Rex in English :3

you know what compleatly threw me off?

the whispered "viva la vie boheme" at the end of LVB

its powerful, not quite as joyus, and very different than the shouted one.

just wanted to comment on that.

The end of that is more of a transition into "eek scary azt break" than "woo we're friends yay"

i know but it still threw me off. i was expecting something more like in the OBCR but i got a hushed tone. i had to shake my head and go back a few seconds and listen to it again to get it right sorta.

yea. i was confused.

I'm so glad that he revised it, rather than trashing it

What I REALLY want is to get my hands on a recording of Superbia or Tick Tick Boom

Tick Tick Boom should be availible...I (am a horrible person and) found it at my local library and burned a copy. If you want, I can email it to you (or upload it to megaupload if more people are interested?)

I am in LOVE with the song "Louder than Words". But I've gotta tell you, I can't listen to "30/90" anymore because a couple of months ago I realised something...the song is about Jonathan's anxiety surrounding his 30th birthday (in the year 1990) and fear of growing old. Sarcastically he says "Turn 30/1990/Bang, you're dead/What can you do?" and I about threw my iPod across the room when I realised he died 6 years after writing that. Kind of a joke gone bad. :/

Superbia, I would KILL for. "1984" is one of my favourite plays and a musical based on it? By Jonathan Larson? OH HOLY SONDHEIM.
