And his pace quickened as he spotted Nyunya ahead, a slight iceyness creeping into his stomach. Was this why he wanted so much to come out into the ugly lands? His intelligent eyes quickly swept up the three, just catching the last bits of the conversation. A little growl slipped past his mug, and though he was probaby the youngest there he didn't look it. Nyu might have, seeing how small she was. "No, she won't. That waterfall is for our prides' eyes only, stranger." His tone was void of emotion, he was careful not to show when he was made by sound and such... but his words sort of gave it away anyhow.
"Nyunya what are you doing in these lands?" His ears pressed against his head, stopping some feet behind his sister to give a challenging stair to the three cubs. Hmm, probably not the funnest cubs to bump into.

Little Ny had been about to tell Duhu that she would take him to see the waterfalls, if he wanted to see them so much, when she heard the annoying voice of her brother. Why the hell was he here? She came out here, not only to explore, but to get away from her siblings for a brief time. She didn't hate the three newest additions to her family, but they did annoy her sometimes. Quite a lot, actually. Hence the most powerful reason for her constant wandering from home.
With a melodramatic sigh that dissolves into a half-growl at the end, she turns her body to look at the silver shape of her brother. "What are you doing here, Fedha?" She doesn't answer his question; as the oldest, she felt he had to answer to her, not the other way around.

Duhushi was confused. This grey cub was actually refusing his entrance. The purple cub would have protested had he been in better shape but the sting of his paw made it evident that he wasn't. Nyunya seemed aggitated or even annoyed by the others presence. "It's not like I would be a threat. As you can see, I'm in no shape to be on anyway." His tail twitched in irritance. This cub wouldn't tell him what to do. If he wanted to see the waterfall then he would.

Amleth's eyes widened as she watched the interaction between Fedha and Ny. She raised her eyebrows. "Hey Ny, who's that?" she waved a paw in the silver male's direction, and then added, "And...why's he so mean?" Now that she felt on less rocky footing with Duhushi, the hyenaish cub was back to being bold and somewhat socially inept. She frowned at Fedha with a certain degree of suspicion on her small features.

Fedha's eyes grew dangerously narrow as she shortened his name. "Names were made for a reason, Nyunya. Fedha'Kialio. Use it." How many times would he have to tell his big, yet smaller, sister to do this? It irked him very much when she called him just Fedha, and that was probably why she did it. After a moment he slowly sat, his posture very much like Ithi's or Denges. Man, where was the manly influence on this cub? Gone out to the watering hole and drowned, that's where.
He almost wasn't going to answer his older sister, but then he decided he would. Just to spite her for not answering him. "I had a dream." He said, and that was all he said. His nose wrinkled a little, he wished that the prickling behind his skull would go away.
At Duhushi's words he let his gaze trail over him, and a slow, twisted smile came onto his maw. "Of course you're no threat, doll." He murmered, trying to imply that he was. Well, like a doll. Very girly, etc. "And you're in no shape to walk, looks like it. The walk to the waterfall is painful, so you're out. It's the principal of the matter, not the threat level."
He raised a brow as his gaze flicked to Amleth. "Do you always speak as if someone isn't there... when in fact they are?" His tone was growing decidedly cold, which was always a bad thing with Fedha. He could throw the worst fits when he went from emotionless to cold. "My name is Fedha'Kialio, no, I do not wish you to shorten it. And I'm not being mean, simply being realistic." He frowned at this though, wondering why she thought him mean. He didn't realize he was being mean at all, that was probably the worst of it.

(From kaytla cause gaia is being mean to her.) Samdrax: Flicking her crimson eyes to her new friend, flicking her tuft of salmon out of her vision, she murmurs to Amleth, "That would be my younger brother, Fedha." She completely ignores his annoying demands that she not shorten his name, as she did every time he told her. If it annoyed him, she'd do it forever. Anything to annoy him, the one of the litter she liked least.
"You had a dream?" she then asks, turning her head again to look at her brother. "Did this dream tell you to follow me, Feddy?" A nickname she'd made up on the spot, knowing it would annoy him more than just being called 'Fedha'. He was beginning to irk her now, too. Only her parents told her what she could and couldn't do, not some skinny little brat of a brother who was younger than her. If she wanted to show Duhu the waterfalls, she'd damn well drag him there if she had to. Her brother would not make the decision for her.

Duhushi sighed and looked down at he paw. The scraps were mottled with dirt, blood and rocks. He winced as he thought of what would happen to his dear paw. Listening to Fedha he tensed. Doll? Purple ears twitched when he heard that. "Doll?..." He had an idea of what the cub had meant but no one had ever used that to describe him. "As you would like to be adressed as Fedha'Kialio, you shall adress me as Mtafutaj'Duhushi and nothing else." He nudged against Amleth and whispered in her ear. "Watch him. He'd probably attack you if he had the chance..." With that he straightened and sat on his haunches.
"I do not mind the way. There is no clean water where I live and my wounds need a through cleaning. I need water for that..." Duhushi always tried to seem like the victim. it had worked with Amleth and Ny...maybe it would work with others.

Amleth lifted an eyebrow at Fedha and looked slightly confused. "No, I don't, but I also don't like to talk to mean people." She replied snarkily, flicking her tailtip. She didn't bother to argue with him, because he was clearly mean, as anyone could see. That was obvious to the small cub. She grinned at Ny and smothered a giggle at the nickname she had fashioned for her brother. Rolling her eyes as Duhushi warned her about Fedha, she nudged her purple friend and grinned. "I could take him, he's SCRAWNY." She eyed Fedha with suspicion.
As Duhushi made his case for seeing the waterfall, Amleth's eyes softened and she leaned in to lick his cheek lightly. Poor Duhushi! He was so brave to fight for his right to party to visit Ny's homeland...

He fixed Ny with a long stare, tail flicking quite quickly. "You call me that again, and you see what happens." He said quietly, for her ears alone. He didn't bother answering her question, he just turned his head to look at Duhushi. So let's see, the disgusting hyena-cub didn't want to talk with him, he could ignore her. Ny was being a royal arse, he could ignore her too. Though he didn't realize that was what they were hoping for. "Alright, Mtafutaj'Duhushi." He said afetr a moment of pause, struggling over the name just a little. He raised a brow at the whispering and sighed, shaking his head, though he couldn't hear one word spoken.
"What you need to clean that wound is a mother's tongue, not water. Do you have one of those?" He said sharply, eyes narrowing. Fedha had no thoughts of what kind of pain the cub was in, and if he could argue his point he probably wasn't in that much pain anyways. "Anyways, this was pointless. I see you have fun hanging out with.." He eyed the two cubs again. "Hanging out with such delightful company." He put it in the sweetest tone, too.
He rose from his sistting position again, turning to go away. "You best not follow me, Nyunya." He muttered. Yes, he was on his way home. And yes, it was to tell their two mothers just where the little runt was.
