Instantly Sora remembered what most of Organization XIII would say about him when they met him... He looks just like you... once Axel said that they were looking for someone that reminded him of Sora. Sora knew who they were looking for. But Roxas was him, so how could Axel ever find him if he wasn't actually here? Sora decided it would be best to play along with Axel, as if they really were looking for Roxas.

"Axel, I know this is gonna sound a little weird, but I think we are looking for that 'candy bar,' Roxas..." Sora glanced up at Axel. "I know you don't remember, but you gotta trust me, Roxas is just like me, in fact he's a part of me. He--" Sora stopped talking. He knew it was useless to try to explain the Nobody's to Axel. "Nevermind...forget I said that. But we gotta look for Roxas, I'll tell you who he is if I see him. He's gotta be around here."

Demyx stared at the man for a bit, eyes squinting in a speculative sort of look. He wasn't sure what he made of this guy, but he didn't seem like he was lying. The musician supposed this was a good thing, but still didn't like the fluffy haired guy. Gave him the chills. He turned his head to look at Roxas, giving him a questioning eyebrow as to whether they should believe this guy or not. Because Demyx was bad at making decisions for himself, as horrible as that was.

Blue eyes shifted back to the weird guy and he pouted, but gave an answer.

"Hmm. I dunno whether I believe you, but... in the event that I start, the name's Demyx. Yours?"

Someting wrong? Of course there was something wrong. But Sora didn't want to get Axel all worked up. He had no idea what to say, so he did what first came into his mind. He waved his arms in front of himself and said, "No, no, of course not! Don't worry about it...I'm sure it's just a...stage of life...yeah, that must be it." Sora tried to give a little laugh at the end, but it sounded more like a sarcastic sneer.

Sora could tell that Axel was truly afraid though. Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned Roxas or Xemnas. Maybe if some of the other members of Organization XIII were here also, they could jog his memory. But Sora doubted, even as he thought it.

"Aw, come on, Axel. Don't look so worried like that. I'm sure we'll get it all sorted out in no time." Sora smiled as wide as he could.

Marluxia watched the small exchange between Roxas and the musician Demyx, both of them giving an uncertain look. Roxas seemed to be trying to decide whether to trust him or not, from what Marluxia observed. He looked over to the childish Demyx as the boy introduced himself. Just as he was about to open his mouth and introduce himself in return, a yell came from Roxas's direction. Slightly alarmed, Marluxia had absolutely no time to react as he was shoved to the cold, hard ground.

Such a very cold, lovely ground. Apparently it loved and favored his face the most. Marluxia had decided, at this point, that he did not favor the ground, especially when he went face first into it.

Now more than very irritated, Marluxia picked himself up halfway, glaring up at Roxas with extremely narrowed blue eyes. That is, until he saw the shadows with antennas and really wide yellow eyes. His own eyes changed from extremely narrowed to wide as he watched them. They looked so familiar...what did it remind him of?

No, get up off the ground instead of staring and believing such foolish things.

Marluxia got up with whatever grace he could bring back from that... fall. Once he was able to get a clearer view of the moving and bouncing shadow, an image that seemed to come from nowhere came to his mind. A castle, and hundreds of these shadowy, wide eyed creatures crawling everywhere. It was... where was it, and what was it?

Castle Oblivion. His mind stated simply. And...memories becoming manipulated. Yes, memories were able to be manipulated. Why? Why had he just remembered these certain things?

A sigh escaped his lips as he furrowed his eyebrows, staring into the wide eyes full of fear. Marluxia knew those eyes, he had seen hundreds of them, somehow. But how was that possible. The questions just kept piling up, and from what was currently happening, Marluxia knew they were just going to keep coming.

And unfortunately, it looked like it was going to take a while before all these questions were answered.

Demyx stared in horror at the event occurring right before his very blue and very wide eyes. The fluffy-haired man's shadow had moved. Not only that, but Roxas had dove towards the other man, knocking him clear off of his feet. The two landed in an unforgiving heap on the cobblestone. At another time, this may have been hilarious to the light haired musician, but right now it really wasn't. Not at all funny.

His mouth hung open, gaping, as he fumbled for words while staring at that incredibly CREEPY little shadow. It had antennae and bright yellow eyes. The hands were curled into what appeared to be claws, and Demyx didn't want to stick around to see how sharp they were.

"Heartless!" seemed like his voice was working again, even though the sound that came out of it was strangled and forced. How he knew what these things were escaped him, all except for the brief flickers in his mind telling him he had indeed seen them before. At a different time, a different place, a different circumstance. This was not comforting, because from what these flickers told him, he wouldn't be able to beat these Heartless things. Only someone else, who's name he couldn't remember for the life of him, could hurl these things back into oblivion.

That meant they were in deep trouble. Meaning... very very dead if they didn't move in the next few seconds.

"Run! We can't kill these things!" His voice was stronger now, fueled by his panic and adrenaline. Demyx offered a helping hand to Roxas, who still hadn't gotten back up from the fall. He looked over at the cold-seeming man and tugged on his sleeve.

"C'mon" The tone was urgent as the boy took a step forward in the opposite direction.

She swallowed, barely managing a nod to the boy as she quickly got to her feet and she turned to run back outside when she stopped and caught sight of a plank under four wheels lying on the ground.

Not bothering to think anymore, Namine ducked as one of the black, semi-shapeless things launched itself at her, one knee scraping the ground as she dived for whatever it was that was lying on the floor. Staggering to her feet, she ran back infront of the boy, and with determination in her eyes she swatted the next thing that leapt towards them, sending it flying several feet away.

Her fingers slipped into his then and held on tight. "Come on!" She called, pulling him outside with her.

((Sorry, I haven't posted in so long...<3))

Marluxia glanced up at Demyx as the musician tugged on his sleeve, and picked himself off the loving cold ground. They were everywhere, these....Heartless? That's what they were called, according to the childish Demyx. He looked more irritated than afraid, but he was actually alarmed at the sight of these shadows. They were like a distant memory that he couldn't quite understand or see clearly enough, and not knowing something was aggrivating, especially since the questions kept piling up.

The man stood in a defensive position. He didn't like getting his hands dirty, but at times like this, he didn't have a choice. That was another thing, there weren't many options at the moment. Things weren't going how he really thought they would, or hoped really. Nothing seemed right, and everything was confusing.

Hearing a scream, Marluxia turned to see Roxas defending a blond girl. She looked more than just familiar. He knew her, somehow, someway, and it was obviously another person added to his list of "Familiar Faces". So familiar, yet he was almost sure he had never met this little girl before. Attempting to kick the Heartless shadows out of mostly irritation, Marluxia narrowed his eyes again at the creatures. Looking up, his eyes then flashed as the girl pulled Roxas away from the wide eyed little Heartless. Shoving the attackers away, Marluxia ran to the direction of where Roxas had been pulled off, looking back at Demyx momentarily before running ahead. For some reason, he was hoping the boy would follow. Why?

((Hoping that I was accurate on the fact that Namine had pulled Roxas out of the Back Alley. ^^; ))

These Heartless things were totally freaky. The fact that he somehow KNEW that he couldn't beat them only added to his hysteria. So Demyx whirled around, looking for an exit. There! By where Roxas and this blonde girl he totally didn't know were standing. Yeah, that was an exit. He reminded himself to thank Roxas for the opening. That is, if he made it out of the area alive and in one piece.

Ohman, he so really hoped he lived to see another day. He didn't want to die with an empty head, not at all. The musician ran for the opening now, rushing past the fluffy-haired man (who had looked back at him, but Demyx hadn't noticed) to relative safety. His legs, although shorter than the guy that he still didn't know the name of, carried him straight past Roxas and the blonde girl. He was actually running pretty fast. Only... he didn't know which direction he was running for. Demyx's legs started to hurt and he slowed down.

Luckily he did, otherwise he would've ran right into the giant crack in the wall that lead to only-who-knows-where.

Her original plan had been to pull him out onto the open area where -- she supposed -- the... things wouldn't follow.

But there wasn't time to think. With one brief glance behind her Namine quickly hopped on behind the boy, her arms wrapping around his waist to keep herself from falling back down to the ground.

Getting away was the only thing on her mind.

Marluxia only saw a slight blur of the light haired man run by him. Apparently, when danger happened to appear, the musician was pretty good at running away. Now keeping his eyes focused on the direction ahead of him, he ran to the nearest place in which there was a possibility for escape. These Heartless were everywhere, even in the open, clawing at unsuspecting people. Though, they seemed more drawn to him and the other three he had either met or seen than anybody else. Why was that? There was another question to add onto his list.

The man finally saw what looked like a giant crack in the wall and made his ways towards it quickly. This was probably the safest place at the moment, though he couldn't be sure. Even though the name sounded familiar, where everything was in this Twilight Town was completely unknown to him.
