I prefer wiccan to witch. It's mostly got to do with the reactions people give you. The people I speak to about it were interested when I said wiccan. They associate it with the new age movement, and thus the them it is "cool". Tell people you're a witch however and they either crack up laughing or they give you a weird look. At least in my experience that is.

Anyway, I understand that people can judge you by what you say very quickly but that's why I like to explain it to them. I love trying to teach people just a little about others. biggrin

That decision is up to them. I simply explain what I mean and my beliefs and ask them to respect them, if no where else, in my presence.

I picture most wiccans as the ones who seem to be one with nature.

I use both for I am both. I am Wiccan in all my beliefs and nature. I am a witch in my practices meaning I work spells and rituals. *shrug* Least that's what I came to learn and use.

My character is deleted for now. But i am Wiccan i prefer saying wiccan because if i were to say WITCH i get looks like crazy. If i say Wiccan i get confused looks and i can explane whats going on and then they understand a little better and they dont think i am evil any more.
