OutkasTeen thejesusfreak .QuiltQ. thejesusfreak R u sure u wanna know my thoughts on abortion? That's why I created this topic, isn't it? But r us sure, i might start an argument. I don't want to offend anyone as you all (most of you) say I do on PURPOSE, yeah right! I don't, but still I don't want to offend or "discrimminate" against someone, like most people here say I do. Therefore, I will shutup 4 now! ya, just don't say anything offensive about people who make the choice to have abortions or anything like that How can I? How can I when people get offended just because they're proven wrong cuz they don't want to change cuz they're comfortable where they are and change will make them uncomfortable, u know wat? I'm not comfortable confronting all these people, but I still do it, hoping that I could bring at least a few souls to salvation. I think that abortion is killing babies, if the baby is unwanted then it could be left inside a hospital or something, killing it will kill a human being that had a potential to do something great (like find a cure to cancer). There

thejesusfreak, that right there actually wasn't offensive. Many people feel that way about abortion. So just letting you know, if no one else will, that isn't offensive how you stated your views right there. And thanks for sharing your views.

Yeah, and if anybody tells you that your opinion doesn't matter, don't listen to them. You always have a right to voice your opinion, and rarely will it offend people. I also agree with your view here. biggrin

Exactly many people think that about abortion, meaning that it's less likely to have the need to prove someone wrong in this matter , that is not the case in homosexuality so my previous statement in this topic still stands: people are too comfortable in their sinful lifestyles (not all people are in sinful lifestyles, this applies only to those who are in sinful life styles) and when they are confronted and told that they are living a sinful, wrong life, those people get mad because they become uncomfortable and therefore get offended cuz they don't want 2 change.

i think abortion is plain wrong, you know what, if they didn't want to get pregnant, they shouldn't have had sex, it is a result. even if it wasn't born yet, you are MURDERING that person, that could have done GREAT things with thier life! they have that choice but i think it is wrong and i think we should persuade them not to. i would love to have that privlage taken away from them, i dont think they should be allowed to, i think they should be allowed to put it up for adoption if they don't want it, but the usa doesn't allow murder, and that is murder, i don't agree with it at all!

**Side Note: I've posted in this before, but just recently posted in another one, and was more satisfied with my rebuttal than what I put in here, so I'm going to post it. It's long but it points out a lot of questions I've seen raised about the subject. So yea. Once you read it comment discuss whatever** I'm Pro-Choice when it comes to abortion. Keep reading before you decided you are finished. I believe abortion in itself is wrong and the kid has a right to live. The only times I could possibly see it fitting is if it was a kid that was rape who's body just isn't mature to handle it, or a women who was raped if she mentally can't handle it, or a mother could die during pregnancy or at birth. But despite those being the only times I'd consider it fitting, no matter the circumstances, I think the girl has a choice in the matter. God gave us free will did he not? He gave us the free will to choose to love him or to die and go to hell. He gave you the choice to decide whether or not to become a thief, rapist, murderer, slander, adulterer, drunkard, and an angsty teen. Why do we think we have the right to pass a law to take that free will from women just because it's murder? What makes her sin far worse than yours? It is because she took a potential life or is it because it didn't have a chance to fight back? Or is it because it just seems horrific? I saw a video on it and I believe it to be a type of murder. But who am I to say it's sin or not? Who am I to say she'll go to hell for it? Who gave me that right to judge her and her circumstances? Who gave me that right to say, you have free will in any other case, but in this one, you lose that very right God gave you? How Christian I've become when I start saying that and judging them. I don't think it's right to have an abortion. I believe the baby should have a choice to live. But I do know, if it is sin to have an abortion. It's no worse than when I was a shoplifter. It's no worse than when I chose to disobey my authority. Because sin is the act of disobedience that separates us from God. And the disobedience is choosing the sin, not the act of sin itself. So when I choose daily to sin, my choice is just as bad as the mother who chose abortion. And my cost is the same as that mothers, if neither of us chooses to repent. That cost would be death. Quote: Why do we think we have the right to pass a law to take that free will from women just because it's murder? I said that in one of the above paragraphs and I'll answer. The reason we think we have that right, is because we have the free will to choose to suggest it and vote on it, and raise our opinions. But if that law was passed and the mother didn't have the free will, we took away what God has given her. But then if we say we can't do it because we'd take away her free will, than some would say we just lost ours. Or did we just make the choice to not take it from another person? I know this post is long but this topic and some others that come down to it, is a matter of choice, just gets me thinking. And even though I know where I stand on it, questions still arise. Some I can answer but as you can, some are still left open. And I think that’s one of the main reason a topic like this will always be controversial and up to debate. Because no matter where you stand, and no matter how firm you stand on, you always seem to have those few questions you can't gather an answer for. Or you do get the answer but another question arises.

Exodus 21-22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.
Now this verse has come up before, but I just recently researched it. Many people have mistaken this for a miscarriage, but it doesn't work out that way. The Hebrew word for miscarriage is shakal, and it isn't used in this verse. Also, the plural for child is used, indicating it is a human. So that means that a fetus is considered a human to God and it is murder because they are ordered to sentence him.
