Yes, it does get annoying with "omg" or "ur" anything that people repeat over and over.

*Ähmm* My grammer and spelling is sometimes aweful, because I'm German...and I do not know all the words...for example. crying crying crying
But I try to do the best I can!
But does this mean I'm even a Grammer-Nazi?! eek eek eek
The comparison with Nazis is a kind of...drastic...don't like it. sad

My other gaming forum had a huge thread about poor grammar as well. So for the sake of it, I'm going to make a comment in this one too.
I don't mind a bit of leet speak or gamer talk here and there, but sentences and paragraphs of it is just unnecessary. It takes me a good 2 to 3 minutes trying to decipher something that should only take seconds to read. Untitled angry! scream
My spelling and grammar can be a little off occasionally. (Usually depending on what kind of day I'm having, and if I'm in my right mind) But I often try to check over my posts a few times before finally submitting them.
Don't even get me started with leet or other types of speak being in RPs. xp

I totally agree. I try to type the best I can but I type fast and will sometimes make typing errors. Still I try. I hat seeing leet everywhere, even though I will type in it sometimes if we are just for fun. Still, it can be quite annoying.

See, it bothers me - but I got bored and actually came up with a leet alphabet a year or 2 ago so reading the stuff is almost second nature. And I also have some friends that talk like that WoW person you mentioned.

I think it's kinda funny that you're all saying that you're Nazis, but you all are mispelling "grammar" as "grammer."

I've always been a stickler for grammar and spelling. And ever since I took that Student Librarian course, I can't stand to see books out of order. Or anything out of order, for that matter. That's why I created the directory. sweatdrop

i dont understand leet at all, so you wont see me shortening things very often. apart from the wtf, lol, omg, lmao, nvm's i have no knowledge whatsoever on anything else on the matter haha. so i guess you can call me a grammar nazi as well xp
