Lily had never thought of this option, but it would work for the meantime until she could find a solution to the communication problem of hers. A smile was on her pink lips as she nodded eagerly now, it was the first time she had gotten such attention, and she felt somewhat special and happier than usual. Holding her staff, she traced through the sand of the practice yard, writing in girly children's letters:

Hello, my name is Liliana Cheyenne. But you can call me Lily. I don't know how to write that well, but I'm trying to look for a way to get a voice.

When Lily finished, her delightedness at having someone speak to her overcome her as she smiled brightly at the woman. No longer dreamy, Lily was fully awake and excited as she knew this would help her communicate.

Gren laid in her tree now, the wolves away for the moment. She watched the softly twinkling treasures hanging in its branches... thinking of when each was gifted to her and smiling softly. Rubbing the jewel on her forehead gently she yawned, she'd keep this one on for a while, it was very pretty and the puppies were so happy that she liked it. Humming softly she rolled from her back, feet going over her head so she landed on her feet on a branch with expert precision. "Thank you creator.. thannnnkkkk youuuuu..." she said in singsong, going up onto her hands and walking around on the branches, her foot grabbing a tree blossom and putting it behind her ear. She laughed and swung down, the air softening her landing as a few threads escaped from her happiness. Following her feet, she crouched, going to seek out her family.

† Vasquez only stared at his vicious gauntlet of fame. Could...could it really be? He flexed his individual fingers, one by one, each bladed claw clinking against his palm one after another.
His human hand shot out and grabbed Anon by the arm, as he left. Their petty conflict of wills had gone too far; Lashier's life was on the line. "That won't be necessary, friend." Vasquez intoned commandingly. "I beleive I have another solution to our problem."
It was perfect. What they had thought to be a noose strewn about their shoulders, was in fact a once in a lifetime loop-hole in the ironclad government system of Tar Valon. Vasquez had come up with plans bordering perfection at less notice then this; he would not let his opportunity of freedom and vengance to pass by.
If one got close enough to his odd appendage and survived, they might notice a small mark bearing the appearance of a soaring heron, etched onto the topside surface of his metallic hand. It represented mastery, grace, and utter perfection. Most commonly, the golden heron flew below the blade of a sword.
Lashier tin Vasquez the Ironhand was an exception.
As he stood, he lifted the table between himself and the woman with his right arm, effortlessly, and folded it in half, eminating a snapping sound throughout the room. He continued his vice-like grip, and by the time he was in a fully standing position, splinters were flying every which way, clouding the vision of everyone in the room. He opened his hand, letting the splinters fall, and leaned a little ways forward towards the Aes Sedai. Unfolding his forefinger, he tapped her on the side of her head, knocking her out cold.
He slung the woman's limp figure over his shoulder, and by the time the shower of shattered wood had fallen completely, he stood before Anon, who seemed a bit surprised at first, before grinning maliciously. This would be rather enjoyable.
"Remind you of Tear, mate?" Vasquez said through a smile, drooping the woman's weight into the curve of his free arm, so that he could hold the blade of his gauntleted finger against her throat, and allow her feet to drag along the ground.
He moved forward, and before opening the door, he nodded to the small chest adjacent to it, where their belongings were held. Vasquez flicked a small set of keys dangling from the woman's waist to Anon, who fumbled with them before finding one which he recognized to match the chest's keyhole immediately. They were proffessionals, and locksmithy was one of their many fortes. Had Anon tried each and every one of the keys, he would have received a swift kick to the posterior.
His friend removed his equipment, and tossed him his favorite cotton scarf which he threw about his shoulders, veiling his face with.
"Let's go." †

Kali smiled and nodded reaching out to rub on the top of Lily's head. "Well you can follow me and Wes if you wish we'll be going to my quarters. I've got extensive books there and maybe we can find a solution. Until then just use your letters to communicate, i'll even give you a quill and parchment for walking around if you'd rather. But let me to speak to Wes for a moment" She smiled agian, then went off to speak to Wes. Standing in front of she was overwhelmed with the idea of embracing him, but thought better of it. She was only able to hug him in public now, and why abuse the privilage?

"That is Lily, she cannot speak and I wish to help her. I'm going to take her up to my quarters...I hope you don't mind. I promise i'll spend time with you later...and I wont even read" She smiled, and then turned back towards Lily.

Nodding eagerly at the thought of having a temporary way to communicate, Lily was truly touched by the way this woman was treating her. She felt special, even though she knew she was just a burden. In the sand, she wrote again, waiting for the woman to come back and see.

Thank-you for being so nice to me, nobody has been so kind to me since I left home. What is your name? Are you an Aes Sedai? Why were you fighting with that man over there?

Her shy smile softened her face and made her look like a happy child again, though her wish to speak had not been granted, she wouldn't give up.

Kali took note of the writing and nodded absently one hand still clutching the staff as another went to pull the braid over her shoulder.

"Don't worry child. I dont mind being nice. My name is Kali and i am an Aes Sedai...and that over there is Wes. He is my Warder and we were simply going at it because I needed the practice. He's a nice man" Then she leaned closer to the child, winking and saying softly "Handsome and strong too." Then she straigtened with a conspiratal(sp) smile and then offered her hand to the child. "Come now, lets get going"

~He sat at his table in the front room of the Three Barrels, the greatsword leaned against the wood, Staring down at a plate of jelly toast and mulled wine, while listening to the town gossip echo through the room from it's other inhabitants.
He had made his way to the tower last night, but there had been too many guards on watch, and there was no way he was going to start some ruckus right there on tower ground.
No matter what interesting or dangerous weaves the Aelfinn had tought him, he still would be no match for a full circle of bonded sisters...not to mention their warders. He might kill alot of them, but he'd go down in the end, and besides, what good would doing all that do him in the first place?
He was just tired of sitting in a less-than-perfect in all day because there was nothing in this city that much interested him exept that tower.~
Bloody lot of good this is doing me...
~the serving maid closest to him looked up, thinking he had been wanting something else to adorn his toast, or perhaps and order to place. He was about to wave her away, but something he just might be able to do suddenly came up.
He told her to have his mount saddled and completely ready to head out in 10 minutes, and also asked her to summon Mistress Ganam.
She nodded politely and rushed off through the kitchen to inform the Mistress and then the stablehands.
Mistress Ganam came out, looking a tad bit curious, but did not ask any questions when he requested his "Special" belongings.
She motioned him to follow her, leading him through the kitchens and down into the cellar, weaving between the aisles to a small door located at the back of the room. She unlocked it, and then took a match to light the small lamp in the room, which cast the space in a soft golden light.
At the Back of the room stood his armor, shining brightly on an old stand, but in perfect condition nonetheless. Next to it, the spear was laid out, rolled up in a velvet sash...not that it needed it. She left the room, allowing him time to fit himself, which did not take long. The Pure white of the armor gleamed as each peice was removed from the stand and sinched up to be snug on his body, and soon he was placing the helmet over his head, his vision not hindered in any way as it slid down...The large blue cloak expanded from the shoulders and upper spine of the armor with a resounding hiss, seeming to wave in a wind of it's own making...
He strapped on the Greatsword, and then the Spear, the golden gilt of the engravings sparkling as the light touched it...
He moved from the cellar, the mistress ushering him straight to the stables, so as not to creat a ruckuss in the commonroom.
He turned the corner to see Man'Shendar, who nickered proudly, completely adorned in his battle armor. The sun was dazzling as it reflected off of the pure silver shine, and even the stableboy gawked. He chuckled, giving Man'Shendar an appreciative rub along his neck, and then mounting.
he threw a silver to the stablehand, who barely caught it, and then kicked Man'Shendar into a trot, the people parting down the street, some gawking, as he made his way to the white tower.~
Ye Lyet Tar Valon...
((Well, i got bored of sitting around....so i'll just waltz my way right into the tower. Works for me xd ))

Seeming to giggle with no sounds, Lily put her left hand in the Aes Sedai's. By doing this movement, she put her whole trust into Kali. In her right hand, she held her white staff and by making the movement, the small blue orb at the top's colors seemed to swirl a bit.

Wes had simply nodded his head as Kali explained about Lily. He pitied the girl for her lack of vocal skills, but if anyone could help her, it would be Kali. It's not like she talked much herself, especially when she was reading.

He smiled inwardly as she mentioned spending time with him later. He loved her with every fiber of his being by now, and even just simply watching over her seemed to make him happy. Wes folded his coat with
Saidin and put on his Warder's cloak as he followed Kali and Lily. He had let go of that river of fire and ice, the fight for survival, but that didn't make him any less wary. He would never be completely at ease, even in the Tower. He knew the Black Ajah was supposed to have been purged, but that just meant that if any were left, they would be hiding even better. If Kali died, he would die soon after, even without the Bond they now shared.

Well...~He thought~Not such a boring day after all....though it does look like i've just been condemed...Humph...death by association...though...it IS better than sitting in a boring inn all day...i'll have to pardon mistress ganam for not paying later...because it looks like i won't be coming back under any good terms anytime soon...
~He looked down on the men, his face completely hidden by the helmet, and then back behind him towards the drawbridge, and then towards the tower...friendly faces only seemed to be in one of those directions...he nodded at them without saying a word, and then took hold of the Power, allowing the substance of the Ter'Angreal in his chest to fill him completely right alongside the power. The small spaces in his armor took on a bluish glow, and some of the faces of the men in the crowd near the tower turned into expressions of shock. Even some of the Aes-Sedai's faces gaped.
Though apparently with this certain woman in this certain man's arms, they could do nothing. Man'Shendar's body was tense as he was slowly turned in the direction of the drawbridge. He reached up to withdraw his greatsword, but found his grip placed on the shortspear instead...he withdrew it anyway, motioning to the men to follow at his side and walking Man'Shendar slowly towards the drawbridge, the men there slowly and reluctantly making a path, but closing in behind. he looked down at the man with the woman in his arms...she wasn't bad looking really, of course all Aes'Sedai had that ageless look about them, but it didn't make them much less attractive, quite the opposite actually...it was just the choice of what you might be getting yourself into by trying to attract those intrests...
He shook his head and continued along the drawbridge, making the first steps off onto the main streets, crowds once again parting, but this time in fear...Well...who knew he'd be escorting two obviously highly wanted men off tower grounds by the end of the day?
He sure as hell hadn't...~

"Now we'll take good care of you. Or at least I will. Once I figure out your speech issue, i'm sure we'll become quick friends before that though. She smiled at the child and gave a squeeze of Lilys hand while she began the descent to her chambers in the Brown's quarters where she was known to be lost in for days reading.

"I'm sure i'll find something in a book somewhere" She said with a smile her staff in one hand as well as they continued on and on up the stairs. It was so nice to have such an understanding Warder as well.

Her hand slipped from Kali's as they entered the chamber. It was.. astonishing to Lily's eyes. Her blue eyes sparkled from what she was seeing. It was her first time seeing so many books and she couldn't even believe her eyes. Lily turned around and around, she was surrounded by books. In her mind, she thought, Wow, there must be an answer here! There's so many books!

((I will be away for today and tomorrow to go to a place called Cerro Azul. I don't know if they have computers there so D.Monica, you can RP me if you like smile ))

((I guess you people haven't been reading our posts...I just thought that anyone near the Tower might have been alerted of the noisy destruction within, and the two most wanted convicts in the land escaping with a sitter of the green ajah hostage. Warders and Aes Sedai should be frollicing about....lol))
