My boyfriend pointed it out to me after we first saw the movie. A little lightbulb in my head clicked on, considering Beauty and the Beast is another one of my favorite stories. whee Curse my affinity for deformed guys. It's a shame that the two stories didn't end the same way. Or at least with some semblance of similarity. ~_~;

I see what your getting at and i kind of agree. But what really reminded me of Beauty and the Beast was in the Masquerade scene when Rauol and Christine come out, Rauol looks just like the Beast when the Beast and Belle are dancing (when she is wearing the yellow dress.)

Alexxia I see what your getting at and i kind of agree. -gags about carlotta- I hate prima donnas... though I do see where people get the ideas...o.O funny how the book makes it all seem real when it's all pure fiction, though some of the events and settings are true...

Elven Foxx OH OH!! AND HIS CAPE!!! blaugh Well Darth Vader has a cape...where's a "full black mask" (like ERik in the book)...except nobody falls in love with him. ...damn.

Skyler Daratrazanoff -gags about carlotta- I hate prima donnas... though I do see where people get the ideas...o.O funny how the book makes it all seem real when it's all pure fiction, though some of the events and settings are true... oh i hate them too! its so sad that they actually exsist! they are all around when you get serious about music! like the music is forgotten and the fame goes to peoples heads its very sad!
