Saiyan Master Vegeta StrikerCrimson Saiyan Master Vegeta As far as Nayru's Love goes, that is Link's main source for excellent defence. In regards to offense, Link's various arrows (fire, ice and light) could seriously damage Kenshin. Namely Light Arrows would do the most damage, and as far as I've seen, that could possibly kill Kenshin. well funny thing about nayru's love alot of people over look. he cant use other magic items like the lense of truth and his magic arrows. (im pretty sure he cant its been a long time when i last plaied oot) And I think its unfair to give link bottle items too..... and we should be useing the kenshin from the samrui X series that way he wouldnt be holding back How is it unfair to give Link bottle items? We are giving Kenshin all of his abilities, so it's only fair. abilitys are differnt from items...........

Saiyan Master Vegeta StrikerCrimson maybe naryu's love protects everything besides the bottom of link's feet? No, it protects his entire body. He just happens to get hurt from high falls. i know it was only a joke

An ability is something you can do, and Link can use bottle items, thus it's an ability and Link should have it.

An ability is something you can do, and Link can use bottle items, thus it's an ability and Link should have it. yes they are different. bottle ITEMS are not ABILITIES. link has the ability to use bottles not the item inside of the bottle ( btw all link has ever done with a bottle it swing it open it and pour it upside down or drink from it........ yuck i remeber when link drank a fairy he had bad breath for a month (joke btw)) and use link can have his bottles just nothing in them because he never had any bottle with any items in it to start with (besides a letter from zelda and a bottle of lon lon milk)

What do you mean "to start with"? We aren't using Kid Link incase you didn't realize. We are using Adult Link with full abilities and items.

We are using Adult Link with full abilities and items. so your giveing link items he doesnt have? that reals SOOOOOOOOO fair rolleyes and by to start with im talking about items that come in the bottle in the game link never gets a single bottle that has a fairy,poe, red potion,, blue potion, big poe in them. and i went through the game without getting any of the potions or fairys

There's no pausing in this battle and time doesn't freeze everytime Link needs to pull something out of his C-Purse.

Time still freezes when he activates Nayru's Love, and Kenshin can't do anything about it. No matter what is going on around him, everything freezes until Nayru's Love is activated (this does not include pressing start).

When activating any of the three Goddess abilities, everything, and I repeat, everything freezes around Link until it is successfully completed. And for the record, he doesn't reach into his pocket to activate Goddess abilities. Get your facts straight. That would be a deku nut or a deku stick. He perfoms a sequence of arm/body movements to activate the abilities, while everything is unconditionally frozen around him.

Maintaining real-time for stuff like that would have taken away from the game play. Instead of putting Kenshin in an Action RPG centered around Link, put him in a neutral world. Or put him in a Smash Bros. type situation where everything is Real Time and stuffed with recovery time and attack delay.

No, that's not how it works. Link's Universe and Kenshin's Universe are being brought together for this fight, and like it or not, Link's Universe is a game universe. Thus, when activating a Goddess ability, everything is frozen until the move is successfully completed.

Alright, that's cool, if you're gonna take it there;
Kenshin kills the hell out of Link by letting him use Nayru's Love until his Magic depletes completely.
Then he lobs off Link's head.
Or...if you don't like that;
Nayru's Love is activated and Kenshin beats Link senseless with his blade until he's airborn and ripe for air combos.
Then he drops Link repeatedly until his life or magic depletes.
