The sun was beginning its downward slide when Daisuke awoke, though there were still many hours of day light left. He yawned and curled backwards blinking and stretching his little limbs. The first thought he had was that he was very thirsty and the second was that Dark was still asleep and their shared mind was quiet, next he found that he was still curled near the warm form of Mina-sama... Mina-chan... Mina-san. He was unsure what to call her in his own mind, much less aloud but he tried his voice anyway.
"I hope I didn't keep you from anything Mina-san?" He stood and looked about remembering the events of the day so far as if through a cloud and finding that he was outside a little odd, they were so near the spot that Dark had taken over but much time had passed, Mina-san had even grown, since then.
He moved down to the waters' edge and drank a little, before turning and looking at Mina though his own eyes, she was just as sweet as he remembered her to be, the same and different, at the same time.

Mina, had in fact, not moved since the kit had fallen asleep; she took had fallen into... a sort of slumber, and though wide awake, her mind had been flying, not truly there per sort. She'd travelled through time and back, through lands of fantasy and darkness, really, so thus, she didn't notice Daisuke waiking up till one of his lithe feet hit her chest lightly. Slowly, the female's eyes unclouded, her attenion hence forth fixed down on the red hued form that was still lightly curled by her side.
His words cut though her concious mind, and she smiled, "Not at all; I've been doing exactly what I've wanted to do..." she left it at that, and then she too stood, her form stretching out the fuzzies that had formed within her limbs due to staying in one postion for such a long time. Once sattisfied she'd stretched to the very tip of her fluffy tail, the adult shook herself slightly and padded over to the pond, taking the chance to imitate the kit's actions, drinking some water of her own.
However, as her eyes landed on him, something seemed to flash through her own, "I.... see," she offered no explanation to what she meant, but merely padded over to him, licking the top of his head before brushing her forehead to his, "I hope you slept well too."

"I did thank you, but it was much longer than I expected it to be." Daisuke was sure without asking, that Mina understood he was not exactly who he had been earlier in the day.
"A quiet sleep no dreams..." He stretched a little more and then his tail began to sway in a happy rhythm back and forth.
"What was it you were doing?" Daisuke was content to stay in the sun, but he couldn't sit still for long, he trotted around, bending his head now and again so nose at a fallen leaf or smell a flower but always looking back up at Mina for if she spoke he wanted to give his full attention.
But he was also quite restless he wanted to run and play. The gentle wind that blew over the water and up the grassy slope made idle leaves dance in with it and he pounced on one with a happy and careless smile.

A soft chuckle escaped the penguin feli as he allowed her paw to retreat from his graps, finally walking down the forest trail, "See, for that to work, I'd need someone willing to take the role, and I hardly doubt there's anyone out there willing to do so, alas!" it was plainly obvious his self esteme was nowhere near the level it should be, however, he was not treating the girl anyway diferently than he'd treated any other female he'd encountered.
Except the greed-feli.
Which was, in fact, responsible for his earlier self inflicted pain, amusingly enough. However, that aside, Oswald was just being... himselrf; he'd always thought himself a gentleman at any rate, and though he was love deprived since a very early age, it wasn't exactly a relationship he was seeking, but more of an acceptance from others. Anyone would do, really, and Tria just happened to fill in the role quite nicely indeed.
A softer smile stretched across his maw after her words, his eyes lingering around the trees, "Don't we all though? it's but a trait that confirms we're alive, and that we care in some odd way, of what happens around us, of what's happened and what others thing; pity at the same time," he tsked his tongue over his fangs, shaking his head, "Blinded by a greed for love and acceptance," a pause, his eyes narrowing, "I hate that sin." never did he bother to explain if he meant the actual sin.... or the sin-feli herself.

Mina had in fact noticed, however, she did not understand the details and passed it off as a case of schizofrenia, much like that of her cousin, Magnus Lei. amusingly enough however, Magnus' case seemed diferent than the one Dai suffered, or so thought the female, for after all, Dai seemed concious of his other 'personality' whereas Magnus refused to even acknowledge Lei, since he knew not of 'her' exhistance, "It's a matter of compromise," she smiled, "Besides, I very much enjoy both your company."
A pause was offered as she was asked what she'd been doing, her gaze floatng up to the sky, "Daydreaming, mostly, thinking and daydreaming... and smiling," watching the kit however, as she lowered her gaze, brought a bright smile upon her maw, "Restless, around you?" another pause, much similar to the one before as she took the chance to look first right... and then left, a sly smirk forming, "Well then..." she swiftly extended her front paw and poked his side with it, rushing off to her left and out of his reach afterwards, "You're it!" she chriped as she lowered her upper half down to the floor, a clear sign she too wished to play.
After all, she HAD been laying down for quite a long time; running around seemed to be quite alluring, right now... she'd have time enough to daydream later, for as nice as a passtime as it was, tag was also greatly enjoyable.

 "I would Oswald, that's what friends are for, as they say." Tria didn't expect any special treatment, nor was the way she treating the dark male different than how she'd treat any other, not that she was perfect and sweet to everyone or that her kindness meant any less because of this, it was just her way.
Not knowing what exactly was on Oswald's mind Tria assumed that he spoke of the sin and not a feli, she had at one time briefly meet one or two of the sin-feli but the encounters did not stick in her mind and so she was walking with him and nodding but quiet until she spoke again, "Mammon. Generosity is the key to undo it, love and love comes back to you. I don't mean romantic love either, sure that would be nice, but love is not limited to just that. Hating Greed won't do you much good; just distance yourself from it if it overwhelms your life..."

It was finally after Tria had spoken that Oswald froze in his steppings, his features denoting clear surprise as his left paw remain held mid air, almost as if frozen in place, then, amusingly enough, he laughed.
He laughed and laughed, quie as if his life depended on it, even though Tria hadn't said anything particularly funny, however, it almost seemed as if she had, by the way the male had paused to actually take the time and laugh. It was only after quite a long time of laughter that he managed to let it die down, the only cause of it's death, the fact his sides ached from the effort of continuing, "Ah, but you see, m'dear," she managed as he caught his breath, his smile, for once quite honest, nothing predatory about it, "That's not particularly a role I think a friend should take, but rather, a mate, a lover... not that I'm belittle-ing you in any way, for I feel quite honored you'd see yourself as a friend of mine, specially after knowing me for such a little short while and having seen a part of me many are scared off... however, I'm afraid I'm in need of both roles, friend and mate in a future," another chuckle was offered at this point, "Unlike many a male, I personally would not mind to settle down, and the fact was I was pointing out to how I doubted anyone would want to take that particular role."
Even though the situation wasn't precisely funny, he couldn't help but keep on smiling; In more than one way, he'd found this girl was naive... not that he didn't like it, for after all, it was her naive...er... ness, that was allowing her to see past his rough exterior, and deeper inside... a side which many feli had missed or simply not seen, "And I was refering to an actual feli when I mentioned hating that sin, m'love; I'd be quite a hypocrat hating the 'actual' sin, taking into account I'm quite greedy myself... in more than one way; I'm taking up all your time right now, for instant, and quite enjoying myself. I wouldn't feel like sharing that right now."
The smile lingered thought, blunt honesty prevailing.

"Both?" Daisuke blinked, she really was the sweetest and smartest female he knew.
Upon being poked Daisuke giggled out a happy 'fwee' and darted after this grown kit he'd lost and found again. He chased her up and down the low hill of the valley, near and far to the lake, around trees and maybe up one or two, after they had been running for a time Daisuke began to slow and he trotted after Mina still intent on making her 'it' but wanting too to say something that was on his mind.
"He loves you, you know. That's why he wanted out so badly, to be near to you, you make him happy, happier than he's been for a long while. But I'm not saddened, the opposite, I'm happy for Dark and for you." After he blurted he couldn't take it back, but he didn't need to. It was a simple truth to him; he put on a burst of speed and jumped at his playmate.

Tria stood deadpanned staring at the laughing Oswald as if seeing him for the first time and she'd come across him laughing so, but it was not the first time and she felt very self conscious as he continued to laugh.
"I see, I think," Tria stuttered out, when he finally spoke to explain, she was still unsure why what she had said to get him laughing so, although his expression was light and honest, "but why do you doubt that someone would want to love you?" Confusion was clear on her face, it was true that she was indeed a naive feli, she had been alive for a long time and then again not so long, and had not had much life experience to take it from her.
"Oh, is that someone who wronged you?" Her childish questions showed her simple mind but then she spoke again, "I don't think that its a bad thing that we are having this time alone together, I like it just how it is now, so I like that greedy bit in you." She had stopped walking when he had laughed so and now she still stood until she placed her hind end to the forest floor.

His confession of sorts, Mina slowled down to a hault, her eyes darting towards the kit, whom had effectively managed to hault her movements; it gave Daisuke time enough to pounce her efficiently, sending them both toppling to the ground in a mass of pale and red pelt. Soon enough, after the rolling, Mina was left back against the ground, with the small red hued kit on top, however, it was a very long time till she actually spoke, a soft smile displayed upon her maw.
"I love Him too, however..." she allowed her head to fall back against the soft grass at this point, her long bushy tail twitching over the ground, "I love you too, as much as I love Him," a slight frown had settled across her features, her eyes clouding as she had just come to realise this, and thus, had only just began to deeply ponder about it, "Is that.... wrong?" After all, she didn't quite know the ramifications of what having two personalities meant, nor did she understand the specifics that held to Daisuke's case.
She didn't seem to mind however, "There's a certain darkness in Him, that you lack, while there's a certain light in you, that He lacks... you compliment eachother," the female's gaze finally settled upon the kit and she offered him a slight smile, "You know, there can't be darkness without light, nor light without dark... if both weren't there, how could we tell wht light is, or what dark is?"
It was as simple as that. At least... Mina thought so; and with that, she reached up , placing her left paw on his cheek in other to near him, her tongue coming out lick his other cheek softly.

The smile prevailed long er the male went so far so as to actually wink, an action quite out of character for him, no doubt, for it broke with his 'classy' aura, denoting playfullness in a way, "Try not to look too much int it, m'dear... however, look at it this way; would you chose me over a pretty boy that no doubt has a better temper than I do? Would YOU take that role?" a pause, however, not long enough to allow her to answer herself, "I wouldn't have thought so, m'dear, for you see, there are other nicer birds than I out in the open; personally I wouldn't wish anyone a mate like myself, as strange and ironic as that sounds..."
There was again, a hint of sadness that soon enough washed away as the male turned around, continuing his padding down the forest trail, "Quite sincerely though," he called over his shoulder, pausing to let her catch up with him in an attempt to continue the pleasent stroll, "You're the first girl to have guts enough to talk to me, or otherwise near me in any way, not to mention touch me... and it goes to say, I've lived a long life; feel free to do the maths," it was at this point that his gaze diverted from hers as he took the time to pause and clean out his eyes piece for a few seconds, only to replace it quite soon enough.
Of course, his logic might've been warped, and his onlookings on the world quite strange, however... he was basing his words on what he knew and had experienced to an end, "It's quite interesting though, how a feli like Nagumo can have a girl swooning over him, when all what that feli invoces... is fear and trouble, for I know he's a feli that can not truly learn to love, and yet I invoce a similar reaction from others. Minus the swooning part," his gaze was fixed on the tree tops, quite Idly as he walked on, an almost unnoticeable sight running through him, "Alas, I shall refrain the angst, it's not your role to hear it out, now is it?"

When Penguin started walking off, Tria had to run a bit to catch up to him and then began an even pace. "Everyone needs someone Oswald, would I choose a pretty bird over you, it depends on how I felt, how I was treated, I can't say now, at this moment in time, walking together with you in the forest that I would say no to you or no to another or yes to anyone at all." She continued past him when he stopped, but still walking slowly.
"I don't believe in love at first sight, I think you need to get to know someone before you'll know that you have that special love, just for them, I thought I loved someone once, I've had crushes that did nothing but leave me feeling crushed." Tria stopped here and waited til he was again at her side.
"I don't see why I can not have that role at this time, I'm glad for a chance at it, someone to talk with to listen to and to have listen to me, do we have to be lovers to do this? It's something I don't want to rush, to ruin."

No sadness or pity met his gaze however, a strange understanding lighting her features, however, at the same time a strange disaproval darkening her eyes, "I don't need you to change, nor him. I love you each for who you are... there is no need for a mentallity change, for if I can live with it, so can you, most surely... it'd be quite horrible of me to demand a change," after all, how could she chose one over the other when both were a part of what made him so unique and special? However, at the same time, a blend of both was alluring, if they both so wished it, "Fantasies are known to come true."
This said, the female slowly picked herself up from the ground, taking the time to straightened out her pelt, her tongue grooming the patches that had become disarranged due to their rolling and running, all the while silence prevailing, for it seemed she was thinking over the situation.
Now, being the dreamer Mina was known to be, she'd come to the decision that the best thing for her to do, was to reassure him, them... both, in the only way she could, which was to minimilise their worries, "Time will have a say as to what happens, however," at this point, she stopped grooming herself and stood, her tail giving a swish as her smile appeared again, "Whatever both of you chose to do; love me, follow me, evade me... or run away, I'll be wating... I'm known for my patience, and my daydreaming. Both."
Her gaze lifted to the clouds again, watching their form drift by, "Patience is my virtue."
