I thought they were good for a long time. Then I read about the way they treat anyone who doesnt think abortion is God's gift to Women or who thinks that terrorists should be imprisoned and I changed my mind. They definatly ARE NOT for the bill of rights, only their bill of rights!

Broorel They claim to be for civil rights but they somehow only fight for people who have done horrible crimes or people who don't like christians. Actually, they've defended many Christians, and even Christian organizations. You clearly aren't familiar with all the work the ACLU's done, just the "bad" people they've defended.

You know why Terri dehydrated to death? It's because doctors are forbidden to help patients die in a less painful way. Because people crusade against euthanasia.
And besides, she was brain-dead. She probably didn't feel anything.
But thanks to the media circus her parents stirred up, we'll probably never know the truth.

Woah woah woah, First of all the ACLU specifically fights for "freedom from religion" rather than freedom of religion. They do everything they can to limit the pro-life voice on issues and trumpet the pro-choice. Anything of merit they have done, is overshadowed by their intentions.
As far as Terri Shivo goes-
She was most certainly not brain dead. Scans of her brain showed about the same level of decay if you will as that of about a 70 year old. No doctor will now say that she was "vegetative"
She was denied rehab numerous times and was thus highly incompacitated, because she missed some critical periods in rehabilitation. But stating that she was "brain dead" is not accurate.
Also, do you really think we should euthenize people regardless of their wishes? I can tell you with 100% certainity that at the time of her collapse Terri did not want to "be allowed to die". Her bone scans showed repeated fractures from abuse and the day she collapsed she told her family that she was leaving her husband. They feared for her safety but she told them she would "pretend to be asleep". Apparantly that didn't work and she "mysteriously collapsed"
Her husband magically remembered years after her collapse that she "wanted to die" and although he entered numerous affairs, he would not divorce Terri because he knew he would be removed as her caretaker.
If he cared so much about her wishes why would he gleen over her apparant want to be starved to death( because let's be honest, she wasn't using any artificial means of survival, just food and water) why would he refuse to give her the barial that was a huge aspect of her faith?
If you really think euthenasia is a good idea, what do you think about the fact that it becomes a matter of us deciding who is "good enough" to live and who is "vegatative enough" to die?
Her parents were fighting to save her from an abusive husband who, with the help of the ACLU, manipulated the American Justice System as well as the American people.

And it seems liek the ACLU is, once again, undermining american laws.
The boarder patroll (no, not th eminut emen, the actuale boarder patrol) has reported findings of ACLU officials trackign the boarder patroll movements and relaying messages to other ACLU members at the boarder and are using this infor to atempt to manuver illigle aroudn boarder patroll. And guess what, the boarder patroll has some of this caught on film.
Broorel...why havn't you responded to my PM? gonk

When people say "they want to die because they are retarded," then I agree with them completely. =3
No seriously, I agree.
But, if we kill them because they want to die, then we have to help suicidal people because they want to die.
If a guy says, "I want to be shot in the head!" Then of course we're going to take a nice KF Soviet (My favorite gun, btw) and shoot him in the head because he wanted to die. Or, we could just give him the gun and let him do it himself because, he wants to die. But, in reality, people who try to kill themselves are put into a mental hospital so that it is made sure of that they DON'T kill themselves.
But, because a person is retarded, or brain damaged, they subconciously want to die, despite what they say, because they are imcompitant and can't make their own desisions. So what do we do? We kill them.
If you are allowed to kill retards because they want to die, THEN I DEMAND MY RIGHT TO COMMIT SUICIDE!!! scream stressed
