Antisana was actually quite pleased by the hiss of steam and the creaking of an opening door. There were enemies beyond the door, but opening the path was still progress, and he hadn't expected to breeze through to the next engine room while experiencing no trouble. And this had happened unexpectedly easily and without struggle. A win, as far as he was concerned.
...Mostly. There were a lot of enemies, and Eleonora had a sort of frustrated tinge to her voice that he did not completely understand.
But they would have to resolve that later. She gave him a tug, and he followed, keeping close to her and Alcor and the... trap? they'd found. It seemed dangerous enough, and it was a rare miracle it hadn't been turned on them.
A soft, discontented sound slid from his throat. "I will not be as helpful with the robots as you would be," he said to her. And that wasn't a potshot at his own abilities; it was just a statement of fact. He was familiar with Eleonora's magic and knew that it would be more valuable for her to fend off groups of enemies, than it would be for him to bludgeon his staff into one singular robot at a time. "I can set the trap with Alcor," he continued, loud enough for Hati and Eleonora to hear. "And I trust you to protect us while we do," said more quietly to the Senshi of Heat, with the gentlest, teasing tug at the hem of her skirt.
He left her to it, beconing Alcor with him- because theoretically, they should try and get this thing working immediately and use it fast, while all the robots were lined up nice and tidy down the hallway.

As the doors open, Aruna acted on instinct and quickly moved forward, slamming her heeled boot down as she called her attack out. Raging Slide! She prayed it would at least slow the automatons down if not knock some out.

Eleonora turned when her name was called. Hati had instructed her to ready the trap but Antisana had stepped in before she could help, insisting that she focus on the robots while he helped Alcor in her place.
It made sense, his weapon would put him at close range while her magic would keep her at a distance. “Ok, just…” her tone tempered now that there was something else to direct her attention towards. “Be careful, please. Protect each other.”
She sprinted towards the doors, and around Aruna since her magic had less range and did not discriminate between friend or foe, to a distance within range of the closest group. “Cone of heat,” she called out, her hands glowing a familiar red.
Her arms raised, heels of both palms pressed together, a cone of heat formed that rose in temperature the longer she held her stance. While there was no fire to be seen, she seemed satisfied when the metal glowed a molten gold rimmed with red.

Pro: She can attempt to form the cone as many times as possible in the 15 second window. However, her hands remain very hot so watch out. Con: Interrupt-able, so long as you keep her hands apart no cone of heat happens.

Once everyone is out of the way and hopefully the pipe is repositioned and mechanical creatures are lined up so she can turn it on. Interaction Roll: 18 to reactivate the trap and prepare to fire.
When her twin moved to join the other senshi and knights in the fight, Alcor looked to Antisana and gave him a sharp nod, following him to help reposition the pipe so it pointed towards the door.
When it seemed to be in place, she returned to the pressure plate she and Eleonroa had found. “Get clear of the door!” she shouted, hoping that over the sounds of automatons moving towards them and magic that the group would hear her warning. “Once they’re lined up, I’m going to try hitting them with this pipe trap.”

So these weren't people, she couldn't just go and tackle one and expect something to happen. Best case scenario it might give her a concussion, worst case scenario the things would swarm her and it had her slightly pouting at the fact she'd have to figure something else out to do.
But it didn't take her long, at least, opting for yet another thing she was used to doing at this point, and heaving to throw her pumpkin cauldron thing at the closest spider thing that was still up and moving. Freddy would want her to stay back and she was pretty sure her new friends wouldn't approve of her diving into things without a plan.

Overhearing that there was a trap of sorts, Portia wasn't about to get into the thick of it and risk getting hit by either the automatons or the defense mechanisms that were being worked on.
Shuffling her heel against the ground, she nudged around until something came loose and hefted it at one of the things, aiming for the one the small pink haired human had thrown some sort of carved looking gourd thing at. She still wasn't sure what they were, but she didn't quite care at this point in time.

It seemed Murikabushi had been right to expect a fight. The automatons were all lined up as expected—exactly as Asmodeus had warned them to watch out for—and it seemed everybody was ready for the fight. Knowing how many people his magic could target, Murikabushi knew he needed to move ahead and start dishing out damage to some of the bastards who were further into the corridor.
Before he moved, he looked over his shoulder at Tianyi and Chillingham. “You two watch out for each other, okay,” he told them with a small smile that he hoped was encouraging. “I know this is a lot, but you can keep each other safe if you stick together. I’ll find you again once these guys are handled.”
Probably best for them to stay back—even if Chillingham throwing her pumpkin bucket meant they’d need to look for rocks or bricks to throw instead, or something—where they’d hopefully be in less danger. Chillingham didn’t even have magic yet, as a Page, and Tianyi hated combat situations. The less either of them got hurt, the better it would be for everyone. Ideally, they’d make it to whatever waited at the eternal engine with no damage sustained at all.
But Murikabushi had to move. And so he did. Maneuvering around Aruna and the landslide she summoned—calling out “Oooh, get it, Miss Fleetwood Mac of the universe!” to her as he did—he moved further into the hallway, toward the next set of spiders and their accompanying sphere. With a smirk, Murikabushi snapped his fingers and summoned up magic that would target all three of them. Maybe automatons didn’t need to get hungry—trying to process that at all seemed to overwhelm the poor things’ ancient circuitry—but the pains would damage them all the same.

As the senshi of cold spoke, it became a decidedly bad idea for Sailor Tempesti to remain where she was. She couldn’t be entirely certain what was going to come out of that pipe, but that didn’t stop her from remembering a few lyrics she’d heard in her folk music class and being “scalded to death by the steam” did not sound like an experience she would enjoy. As she stepped out of the trap’s path, she quickly but carefully maneuvered Sailor Aruna to a safer spot.
With Alcor and Antisana's preparations, the trap was ready to be unleashed. All someone would have to do is step on the pressure plate, and it would go off.
And the automatons seemed like they might just make it easy. Once they were alerted, they all moved towards and through the door--the first wave crumbled under the combined attacks of the group, but the second and third were able to make it through.
A surviving spider (Spider 3) hissed and spat a solid, round piece of brass at Tempesti, a solid blunt hit.

Another (Spider Four) scampered towards Aruna, slashing with its little spindly forelegs, but she was pulled out of the way in time to avoid much damage.

Still, all the robots but the last sphere were now fairly well in the way of the trap....

Tempesti released a slight, pained hiss, echoing the very rude mechanical spider as the chunk of brass connected with her left shoulder before the adrenaline pushed the sensation to the back of her mind. More immediate was her relief that Aruna didn’t get the worst of what the other spider had to offer before she got her friend out of the way. The young senshi couldn’t deny a slight, guilty sense of triumph as the spider that had most likely given her a far nastier than average bruise collapsed under Chillingham and Urania’s attacks.
While Alcor and Antisana finished…whatever they needed to do to get the trap going, she decided that she might as well have a go at one of the other automata. Grabbing another chunk of debris, she lobbed it at one of the closer spheres. (Sphere 2)

In a perfect situation, they would have had the trap rearmed and ready before opening the door. But without prior knowledge of what they had to work with before entering the room, all they could do was react to the situation as it changed and pray that her assumption on how this pipe cannon contraption functioned actually performed as expected.
Although the closest group of automatons were dispatched quickly, the next closest cluster moved quickly and were upon the Senshi and Knights who were guarding the door. The robots slashed at them with mechanical arms, spit pieces of brass, and threw objects with a concerning amount of accuracy.
Alcor waited with bated breath for everyone to move out of the way and for Antisana to give her a confirming nod that it was safe to reactivate the trap.

“I don’t know if I should be happy or offended,” Eleonora mused, brows raised as the automatons rushed past without so much as a courtesy pause or glance in her direction. Were they dismissing her as insignificant, or had they already faceted in the high probability of being melted by her magic if they got too close?
Either reason was fine by her as it allowed her a moment to scoop up a piece of debris and throw it at one of the spider-like mechanical creatures that was focusing its attention on Hati, slashing at him with its forearms.
Her aim was true but either she wasn’t strong enough or the object wasn’t heavy enough to break the robot. But as she ran past the Super Senshi, Eleonora grabbed hold of his wrist and pulled him out of the way towards Antisana. For the time being, it would be best to conserve what magic she had left and hope the trap was enough to take at least a couple of them out.
