Ethan looked to her as she spoke, he saw that her eyes were kind and honest and he hugged her back, noticing her tail wag a bit as he did which made him smile. As she admitted that she was his and no one else's, he was surprised but he looked to her, "Im happy you think that way, because I want you to be mine and only mine." He said sincerely as he thought it over, "Zoey, youve been amazing to me and I know deep down, I love you." He said gently moving away from her and knelling after getting off the side of the couch, but he held her hand, "We havent been dating long, nor do I have a proper ring for you yet, but Zoey, will you be mine, forever and always?" He asked, basically proposing to her, despite having seen her other form, he showed just how much he loved her.

He sees that shes confused til he asks, seeing her instantly brighten as she hugs him, accepting his pseudo-proposal. Hugging her back, he gently held her in his arms, seeing over her shoulder as her tail swayed and wagged fast, making him guess that she was very happy. He looked at her when they pulled back as he gently touched her cheek, "This is only me asking, im going to properly propose with a ring, likely with a fancy dinner but for now, this is me asking so you know that I love you." He said as she had told him before that she left her old town due to relationship issues, he wasnt going to leave today without her knowing he wasnt going anywhere. He helped her and himself back to their feet as he would help clean up the mess from breakfast before thinking it over, "I do need to go home, spent the night in the forest, im still covered in dirt and such... but tonight, if you dont mind, id love to take you to the pier." He stated hoping they wouldnt have to worry of her shifting.

He nodded when she explained her wolf came out on its own under the full moon, which had been last night. He would understand as he would help her finish cleaning up, before gently kissing her, "Alright, im gonna go home and rest for a bit, I love you, see you tonight." He said softly but happily as he gave her a hug before he would leave. Going to his car, he left to head home, walking into his house, he sighed softly, he didnt know why, even after he spent the whole night in the woods hunting what was his now technical fiance... he felt, happy. He went to shower off and change into some clothes before going and getting some proper sleep in his bed. Later, before evening, he would arrive back to Zoey's place, having texted he was on his way. Knocking on the door, he was let in and smiled, "You look beautiful Zoey." He said seeing her in a lovely outfit for their date at the moonlight festival.

He looked at her when he noticed her tail wagging, but was a bit curious as she put her bracelet in her bag, "Youre not going to wear it?" He asked softly but then realized that he may have sounded jerkish, "I dont have a problem if you dont, the world gets to see you in your naturally beautiful form, especially with the kimono, but, you told me you were worried that people would judge you negatively just for being different." He said softly, he wasnt judging her and honestly, he would be proud to show off his amazing and beautiful future wife, but he knew from what she had told him that her last relationship got complicated and it was why she kept it secret so he assumed it had to be because of her old relationship being judged by her appearance rather then her fully. He would gently hold her hand, "If this is how you want to look though, then we dont have any time to waste for the best night of festivities ever!" He said happily showing his support and being by her side no matter if she wore it or not.

Ethan looked to her as she seemed to look away some as he complimented her, her blushes always seemed hidden but he smiled none the less as he would let her hug his arm as they would head off to the festival. Happy to feel her nuzzle into his shoulder, they would go to the festival where they would arrive and she would get some curious looks, wolf yokai were rare and some considered dangerous but he just happily touched her hand that held his arm as they walked. They would go to booths, try different festival snacks and even got on a ferris wheel they had that gave them a nice overlook of the festival grounds coated in moon light, colorful lights and lanterns, "So hows youre night going?" He asked kindly, hoping he was doing good to make it a wonderful night.

He was glad that she was enjoying herself, he was happy but kissing her back as she kissed him. Hearing what she said he nodded, "Im having the time of my life as well, knowing im with you and seeing your smile." He said happily as he would put his arm around her.

Ethan smiled as she rested against him, gently tilting his head to rest on hers, careful of her ears. The rest of the night was nice though he found she asked to try saki, which may have been bad as she got a little drunk. Eventually he smiled, "Alright love, lets get you home, hydrated and ready to rest." He said as they would take the time to leave, the moonlight festival coming to an end anyway as morning would come soon. He helped get her into the car, gently helping her get her seat belt on, then getting in himself to drive them back to her place where he would likely sleep over to help tend to her, worried she would be hungover the next morning.

Ethan would find that she would get a bit wobbly as he helped her to bed, but as he helps her to bed, but as she lays down, he fells her hold onto him. He blushed but laid down next to her as she cuddles to him. Blushing some but he would smile softly as he kisses her forehead softly, "And youre so beautiful my love." He says as he gently rubbed her back as he held her, allowing her to cuddle to him, seeing that her tail wag lazily as he would let her fall asleep cuddled in his arms.
