I found a lot of that untrue for me, but not for my fellow choir members. My boyfriend, a Bass, hates facial hair, and he plays FLUTE. Altos, I don't take them for granted, and I'm not so much of a drama queen as they make the sopranoes out to be, but most of the other stuff was right. And yet, it was amusing. XD

XDthe only thing i found untrue about this whole thing with my self is, being a tenor i still can and love to sing at the same octave as the second soproanos. i am in fact 17 and can still hit those notes. but other than that i think the whole thing was hilarious

In school, my two upperclassmen friends and I created the "alto posse" aka "the altoids." ^^ I was the residental choir nazi.
And in the other choir I do, my friends and I make alto and soprano jokes back and forth to each other like...
"You know, you lose braincells when you hit higher than an F."
"CHOIR PICK-UP LINES!"
"Are you a soprano because you sing like an angel. (note: does not work on altos)"

we usually make fun of our sopranos b/c they're the ones who always who need the most help and make the simplest mistakes..

What do you do when the basses are loaded? Sober 'em up or replace them with baritones... Hahaha... It's not actually that funny, but there are very few well thought out choir jokes, so I appreciate them when I here them!

I've got one our teacher used to say to us altoes whenever we couldn't hit a high note:
"How many altoes does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
One to screw it in and the rest to complain about how high it is"
But she loved us altoes to bits. crying I miss her
